A long line always makes me curious and I wanted to see what the buzz was about. I waited in the blaring sun on a Sunday morning Labor Day weekend for a good 45 minutes. I WILL wait for good food. Unfortunately, this was not a good as I hoped. Not in comparison to my all-time favorite little NJ bakery in Bradley Beach. The lamination and flakiness just wasn't there. The croissants were nearly solid. Imo, Ventnor No 7311 was, sadly, a slight step above Paris Baguette. I appreciate that the flavors of their goods were original (like the sour cherry pistachio croissant or the white chocolate rhubarb scone -- this one was actually fantastic!) but it could use some work. Also disappointing was that the person helping me kept throwing everything in little bags. Have some pride in presentation and throw everything in a nice box. AND you'll save the environment by not using all that paper. Heck, if I buy one thing from my all-time favorite little NJ bakery, they box it up & make it all pretty. I had to ask for a box here. While waiting for the 50th Downbeach Seafood Festival. We stopped at this local Gem that the local worship and for good reason. First the ambiance and outdoor seating a real classic Coffee House look and feel. Secondly, their small batch roast offer and breakfast pastries superb. I have driven past this place so many times and regret that it took me until two weeks ago to stop by and try it. It's very cute inside with some tables and counter type areas at the window. The people working there were very friendly and helpful both times we had gone so far. We got some scones which were huge and all unbelievably delicious. We tried 5 different types and devoured all of them. Frankly, we couldn't decide which one was our favorite. Also, we are huge coffee people and their seasonal specials were amazing. One time we had an iced s'mores latte and a snickerdoodle latte and the next time we both got peppermint mocha iced lattes. So good!!! Definitely stop by and give this place a try! read more

The coffee is good, not great. Cute little space but the staff was a bit rude with the closing. It was 10 min to close, and rather than the server giving me a 5 - 10 min call time they rudely said "I'm cleaning up" with a very "get out attitude". It wouldn't have bothered me if they did so politely or even told me as I was buying my $20 order "we are closing in 30 min, I just wanted to let you know" - it didn't feel hospitable and there were others that were rudely shooed as well. read more

Really excited to try this coffee shop. It came highly recommended by a couple of friends. We had high expectations because when we got there there was a line down the block. They have a variety of bake good options like banana break, mini pie, tart, cookies, and cupcakes. They also have vegan and dairy free options. Same for their drinks, they offer a lot of options for dairy substitutes and alternatives. I got the ice chai latte with regular milk and their chocolate banana bread. Our last 2 visits were very disappointing. I used to love getting lattes here and sometimes would get 2 because they were just that good. They used to be delicious with amazing latte art. Now it's not the same. No more latte art and the taste is all wrong. I guess it's a combination of bad beans and unskilled baristas. I gave it 3 stars because cupcakes were still good. Found a local coffee shop in a beach town. I generally head to Starbucks to do some work on the main strip, but this offers a little quiet retreat next to the monopoly trail. It tastes less franchised and more like caffeinated goodness. I love Ventnor 7311 mainly because the employees are so pleasant. This place can get pretty busy, especially in the summertime, and yet the employees remain cool. The place is also well kept and clean. The milk/creamer counter never hosts spills and sugar scatters. I don't have to worry about my sleeves soaking up milk while mixing my coffee to perfection. Yes the coffee concoctions are great but the real all star here is the impressive pastry case. They have double the options of the chain houses and quadruple the taste! Their takes on traditional coffee cakes are bomb. The blueberry buckle bar wins me over. The blueberry filling is the highlight but isn't too sweet. The crumble on top hosts the sugar. It's a delightful bite that will keep your coffee in good company. But hey! Those muffins, breads, and cookies are all winners too. No wrong answers here. This establishment offers a pleasant setting in Ventnor city. It's just a couple blocks from the beach and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. If you are nearby, you'd be well advised to walk. Summertime parking is a hassle and you'll need meter change. However, the wintertime is a much calmer time here at the shore. Much easier to park and the line will likely be nonexistent. Just depends when you come. Awesome year round though! read more

In years past, we would drive 20 minutes from our casino hotel to get coffee here. Now we find they have changed their coffee. I live super close to this coffee shop and when it first opened I was so excited because it's so cute and looked awesome. I have been underwhelmed literally every time I've gone here. Just went today for the first time this season to get a vanilla, Matcha latte it he said like nothing. I asked them specifically to make sure it was extra blended since I had gotten chunky Matcha more than once here and it came out exactly the same as usual. There was not even a hint of vanilla flavor and I double checked to make sure it was my drink and it was added. The only thing that I will really go here for is the lavender shortbread cookies but even those are pretty overpriced in my opinion. Overall just pretty overrated. read more

I am not a die hard coffee drinker, though this seems like a great place to get an awesome brew. I love this place because it's brought a lot of great vibes into the Ventnor community!! This small batch bakery offers delectable freshly made scones, breads, muffins and all sorts of healthy items that would set your tastebuds a singing!! It is decorated in a classic French style with a bit of homegrown farmhouse goodness. Clean black and white counters and tiles, soft woodwork, with succulents and soft leather couches surround you. Outside seating is bright cheerful pops of bright green set against wood carved benches. Even the canines get their share of attention! It was our first time here and she spoke to us very condescendingly because we weren't familiar with the menu.
