Walked in to pick up a door dash ( yup I'm a foodie mama on the move who loves her extra coins) --- this place really caught my attention. I simply can't wait to go back with my ladies and soak in the cute ambiance / neat / inviting decor.... and there were GINORMOUS Donuts front and center on their front counter.... need I say more !! They apparently have not been here long, but i hope they stick around !

Amazing amazing brunch place!!! We noticed that all the flowers in this place are real and the owner happened to be there so we gave her a ton of compliments on that. She displayed all of her personal mug collections and they're some of the cutest restaurant decals I've ever seen. The toast I ordered was so delicious and the prices was not bad. I definitely will come back next time I come to AC.

Really Cute coffee/tea cafe. Loved the decor, aesthetically pleasing. My latte was very good and my hubby enjoyed his strawberry tea. Only downside were the cups were boring, no logo, no cute message, no garnish, that experience was missing for me. Pics below. Location and parking were good. The space is a nice size. We didn't get any foods or snacks so I'm not able to advise on the eats. The menu has a decent variety of teas and coffees. We were waited on promptly so service was pretty quick. The ambience was the WOW factor for me.

Beat the daily Grind was this year's breakfast target on my annual OC-AC bike ride (food is a great motivator), so I found it the night before and looked forward to a coffee and breakfast bagel sandwich. Ride went well, saw it as I entered AC, and found it easily as I headed back towards OC. Made the order to a really friendly staff, and had coffee and sandwichch in hand quickly. A few relaxing minutes off the bike felt good. I was a little...unimpressed...with my bagel sandwich. The bagel was slightly (or not so slightly) charred. Not inedible, but not lacking in carbon deposits. The counter staff did ask if my food was ok- concerned- did he extinguish it himself?- and I did tell him it was fine, but truth be told, I wanted to keep moving on the bike and not wait for a redo. If it was good enough to serve in the first place, it is good enough to review. But he did ask. Coffee- hmmm...I roast my own beans and use several brewing methods, so I love fresh, complex flavor profiles- was ok. Not rave worthy, but ok. It looks like I am the anomaly in good food and service, but today's visit will make me look elsewhere on the July 2025 OC-AC ride!

My work had a big event held in Atlantic City. My co-workers and I traveled from all over the country and were hungry once we landed. We discovered Beat The Daily Grind completely on accident, it happened to be around the corner from where our event was being held, and the first thing we received was a warm welcome from the staff. They had great suggestions of the food on the menu and knew their stuff! Everybody ordered different foods and drinks and we all agreed that EVERYTHING was delicious. It was all so good that our whole team ended up coming back for the next 3 days in a row just trying different things on their menu. Avocado toast is superb and they even made a custom coconut pineapple refresher off the menu one day that knocked my socks off! It's got a super calm, clean, and relaxing vibe. Each table had a centerpiece of fresh flowers. We will be back next year!

Friendliest, most kind workers and the best atmosphere! One of our favorite coffee spots we have ever been to. Breakfast special was a wafflewich which was pretty good. Tried the Irish cream, pumpkin pie, and cinnamon bun lattes - all delicious! Will definitely have to visit again if we are back in the area

This cafe is extremely underrated. The service is excellent, the food is so delicious and coffee was perfect. There's plenty of seating and the vibe is cute and inviting. If you're ever in AC you need to stop by. We got fresh waffles, a berry smoothie, coffee and gourmet donuts. I can't wait to come again.

I'd love to be able to beat my daily grind with coffee from this establishment! My coffee connoisseur friend and I came to this place after finding it close by when we were in Atlantic City for the weekend. The spot was empty but the smell of fresh baked goods and coffee were so inviting. The lovely super friendly gentleman behind the counter was so eager to help us and offer up suggestions. My friend had hot coffee with almond milk and lavender flavoring and she absolutely loved it. Nothing plain or common about it. The coffee was rich and so full of flavor. She also opted for a smoothie with blueberry and something else he suggested. She was also pleased they had plant based protein which she also added to her smoothie. It hit the spot! I had the iced vanilla kiss latte with almond milk and I must say it was not at all what I was expecting. Rich, not too sweet, with the unsweetened cocoa powder being a superb addition. Probably some of the best latte I've ever had. I wish I could remember the guy's name but he told us some really cool stories about places he traveled and coffee in Italy as well. At the end he threw in a couple pieces of just out of the oven biscotti for us. Perfect. Next time I'm in AC I'll definitely come back.

I love that the menu here has quite a few hole ingredients! It was nice to order a coffee sweetened with maple syrup, and whole milk, rather than artificial and sugary, syrups, etc. The coffee was delicious! Not too pricey for the high-quality ingredients either. I would definitely recommend stopping in! There is not a lot of seating, but coming in on a weekday we were able to find a spot quickly, no issue.

Hidden Gem Alert!…read more Just off the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk, on New York Avenue between Resorts and Bally's, sits one of those places that reminds you why local coffee shops matter. The coffee is fantastic, the breakfast options hit the spot, and the baristas somehow manage to remember faces, names, and orders while keeping the line moving with a smile. It's the kind of place where locals grab their daily caffeine fix, visitors stumble upon a great find, and complete strangers end up having conversations like old friends. There's always a steady flow of interesting people coming through the door, giving the place a true neighborhood feel that's becoming harder to find these days. Whether you're heading to the beach, walking the Boardwalk, or just looking for a great cup of coffee and good energy, this spot delivers. Good coffee, friendly faces, beach-town vibes, and a genuine sense of community. In a city known for casinos and nightlife, it's nice to find a place where the star attraction is simply great coffee and great people. Do yourself a favor--stop in, say hello, and enjoy a cup. You'll be glad you did. "Come for the coffee, stay for the conversation."
