Conor is a great barber, his shop has a cool vibe and is clean. His hair cuts are done with precision and care. He places a warm, moist towel on the back of your neck and he uses a straight blade for a close shave. It is very relaxing! Highly recommended. I've lived in Los Angeles, CA and Vancouver BC...just moved to Wenatchee within the past year and have tried three places before Venture. Connor has given me the best hair cutting experience I've ever had. Simply put, it was everything I've ever wanted in a haircut. The hair cutting scene in Wenatchee needs an overhaul, and Connor knew just what to do. Coming from 6 years in Portland, he moved back to his hometown of Wenatchee and is aiming to give the community an experience worth coming back for. I called him at 5:15pm, knowing he closes at 6, and asked if he could fit me in before he closed. He had a client at 5:30, but said he could stay late and take me at 6pm. Who does that? I felt loved already... When I get there, I walk downstairs to this sweet place which is comfortable, cozy, and well decorated / designed. Music playing provided good vibes. After his warm welcome, he offered me a drink. Do I like IPA's? I was about to cry...is this real life? :) Yes -- yes it was. So the haircut is off to a good start. We decide that I'm in dire need of a wash, so I go over to the hair washing station. I don't know what's better -- a solid wash or the hot shave at the end. But Connor knows how to wash hair in a way that relaxes and invigorates you. I am particular about this part, and it was just amazing. Blew me out of the water. The smell of that 1922 JM Keune shampoo and conditioner will never leave me (especially since I couldn't resist buying some at the end of my time)... The cut was just what I wanted. Nice conversation, efficient, but didn't feel rushed, didn't take an hour (two places in Wenatchee literally took an hour!). My hair looked great. Nice, clean, handsome cut. Listened to what my hair wanted to do, and gave me a sharp look, not too hipster :) At the end, he gave me a hot lather neck shave. This couldn't have ended on a better note. Connor is a respectable guy who loves his line of work and likes to treat people well. His prices are more than fair. He was a pleasure to get to know and I will be a regular for as long as I live in Wenatchee. His shop is a place I would simply like to hang out in. To put the cherry on top, my wife absolutely loved the cut and the scent of the beard oil and shampoo that I got. We are both addicted to the aroma. Undeniably the best haircut experience in Wenatchee. Connor does a great job in cut and style. It's refreshing to have someone in the are who focuses on beard care and straight razor shaves. Coming from CA to Chelan I was desperate to find a quality cut and shave and my first choice was my forever choice. The decor is great. It's nice and modern with a warm touch of music, leather and great books. The mini fridge with craft beer is hard not to enjoy either. Give Venture a try, you won't be disappointed. read more
