Which I was upstairs getting ready for work by the time I came down to answer he was gone. Mind you he hasn't came to look himself & when my aunt asked for a guarantee he said there was none and naturally she got upset, and he started saying things to her over the phone & hung up. He sent over the 2 guys which one looks like he knows what he's doing & the other I can guess was his son. They came for no less than 10 minutes said it was fixed & left. Now it's present day 3:50am the ac still hasn't gone down reading 78 degrees so I just sent a text over explaining. I did not know what I was in for. He would also accommodate any question I have like having a smart thermostat installed (which I eventually did). Since we live in a condo building, the owner did the contact to the HOA to set themselves up for the service. The technician came in right on the agreed time and worked immediately. The great thing about him is that when he needed to use the kitchen sink, he even washed the dishes that was on it. The service took around 1.5 hours including the installation of the new thermostat. The guy that came to my house the first time, whose name was Ricky, looked at the coils of the air handler and told me that they needed cleaning. But, when he went to see the condenser and noted that the motor wasn't running, he gave me a quote for that. When I asked him about the dirty coils he would not give me a quote. He said that cleaning the coils was very expensive. I even told him to give me a quote and that I would consider it. But, he still didn't give me a quote. I told Rafael (the owner) that I did not understand why Ricky would tell me that the coils were very dirty and needed cleaning and later he said that cleaning the coils was very expensive and he refused to give me a quote for it. I explained to Rafael that I had told Ricky that I wanted the quote in order to determine whether or not I wanted to authorize the work because if it was necessary as he had told me that it was, then, I wanted to consider doing it even if it was not the direct cause of the air conditioner not working. Rafael only said that Ricky talked too much, which by itself means nothing, and he did not expand on his remark. I now realize that Ricky just had a trace of conscience and did not want to charge me for cleaning coils that didn't need cleaning and that, as he stated, was a very expensive job. But, if he had not found the real cause of the problem, he would have charged me for cleaning the coils, even though it wasn't necessary, and he would not have had any qualms about it. I told Rafael that Ricky had first said that replacing the broken motor would cost me $400.00 for the labor (my air conditioner is still under warranty for parts) and that, later, he raised it to $495.00. I, also, told Rafael that when I asked Ricky why he increased the quote by $95.00, he said that his boss (a.k.a., Rafael) had increased it. (I was with Ricky the entire time and I did not see him in communication with anyone by phone or text.) I asked Rafael if he would accept a payment of $450.00 and he said that I could pay $450.00 if I paid in cash or with Zelle. I almost agreed. But, I decided that I did not like that because I could not defend myself if the job was not done properly. So, I told him that I would do it with him for the $450.00 and that I would pay with a credit card. He agreed. Rafael sent a different guy to do the work. I do not recall his name so I will refer to him as the tech. The tech removed the motor with the encasing attached to it and off he went, supposedly, to the distributor. In the meantime, I called Rafael and asked him if the tech could give me a photo of the receipt. He said that he could give me a photo of what they give him, but, it's not a receipt. I said that it would be fine if he gave me a photo of whatever they give him. Then, when the tech gets back, he asked me if Rafael hadn't called me and I told him that I had called Rafael about getting a photo of the receipt. At this point, the tech tells me that the Rheem distributor was out of my motor but that he had an identical one in his van that he could give me. I said that I did not want the motor in his van and besides that, I would have to pay him for it and I did not want to do that when my motor was still under the manufacturer's warranty. I asked him how he got the motor in his van and he said that he got it from another customer that decided not to do the work. A minute or so later, as he was putting the motor back in its place, I said that I didn't understand how someone can agree to do the work with a company and after the part is bought change his mind. At this point, the tech did a 180° degree turn and said that the customer did do the work with him and that "as a matter of fact, he had replaced all of the parts." I couldn't believe my ears. I told him that he had just said that he had the motor in his van because the customer had changed his mind about doing the work. The tech did not back down from his new response even though he had just contradicted himself in a matter of a minute. I felt like I was in the twilight zone and I also felt quite disgusted. The ease with which this tech shamelessly lied to my face was not only insulting but it was also repugnant. I did not say anything else. He put my motor back in its place and left. I know that asking for a photo of the receipt given by the distributor saved me the headaches that I would have had if I had let the lying tech install the "motor that he had in his van," which probably would have been a cheap and refurbished piece of junk. In turn, they could have used the stats of my condenser, which they had, to get a brand new motor from the distributor at my expense. Rafael and his company, "Freezing Point Air Conditioning," totally wasted my time with his and his goons skimming and conniving.

The technician that came did not…read morespeak English and had difficulty explaining to me what the concern was however, he did get across that I needed to replace the toilets. The home is less than 10 years old so replacing toilets seemed a bit excessive. I ended up researching the noise the toilet was making myself and realized that it was something that can be fixed pretty easily. I called the manager and spoke to him regarding the poor advice received in regards to replacing the toilets, and he said they would send a second technician to assess the situation. Instead, he sent me a message stating that the initial technician was right and did not send another technician to assess . I ended up going with a different company who came and replaced the valve ...which successfully lowered my water bill by 50%. Problem fixed - without having to replace the entire toilet. I was initially a fan of NSP, but this last visit was very disheartening. I think if they had sent a second technician to evaluate what I was concerned about, they would have seen that the first technician was indeed wrong. I will not be using them again.
