This company was recommended to me, and although their service was prompt, and the technician was very nice, they are estimate of what was wrong, and what the problem was what is the total lie!! I was given the choice of three estimates which were way out of my price range and told the guy would need to call somebody else to get another estimate. The estimates were anywhere from the cheapest of $1500. Approx to over $3000. I was totally shocked as my unit is not that old and was told that the motherboard was not sending signals to the compressor to turn on and if they replace the motherboard, it still may not send the signal and then I would have to replace my compressor also. I called another company that was also recommended to me and a technician within 10 minutes found the problem to be a $240 capacitor, which was changed in less than a half an hour and I had air again!! I can't imagine a company trying to rip off somebody buy so much money and completely miss diagnosing, a simple problem and trying and turning it into a huge disaster! I would never recommend this company. They are completely dishonest or maybe it was just the person they sent here. read more

Used their service again, but this time for a plumbing issue. The technician that came did not speak English and had difficulty explaining to me what the concern was however, he did get across that I needed to replace the toilets. The home is less than 10 years old so replacing toilets seemed a bit excessive. I ended up researching the noise the toilet was making myself and realized that it was something that can be fixed pretty easily. I called the manager and spoke to him regarding the poor advice received in regards to replacing the toilets, and he said they would send a second technician to assess the situation. Instead, he sent me a message stating that the initial technician was right and did not send another technician to assess . I ended up going with a different company who came and replaced the valve ...which successfully lowered my water bill by 50%. Problem fixed - without having to replace the entire toilet. I was initially a fan of NSP, but this last visit was very disheartening. I think if they had sent a second technician to evaluate what I was concerned about, they would have seen that the first technician was indeed wrong. I will not be using them again. read more

Excellent service once again. We used them last year for the mini split's main/mother board. Amazing work. So, we used them this year: the AC wasn't blowing cold air and they quickly diagnosed the issue: it turns out the blower wheel was clogged with dust. Excellent service. Excellent work. Our AC went out on July 3rd. We were having a party on the fourth. I was certain it would be ruined without any AC. We called on the morning of the Fourth of July. They were able to schedule us for that day. The tech was at in home in less than 3 hours (having two appointments before us). He found that we needed two new combusters. He had them in his truck. Replaced both and was on his way. It cost $622 for the parts and labor. We did pay an emergency fee of $165, since it was a holiday, (which all of the companies were charging the same amount.) It took about 24 hours for the house to get all the way back down to 75 degrees (the temperature we usually keep it). Part of that is because we had a lot of people in the house and then we also need to get the vents cleaned out. We are very grateful to NSP for coming out so quickly, fixing it on the spot, being honest and fair, and saving the day! We would 100% use them again and highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Living out of the state, I had to help my parents get their water back so... Did a Google search on Miami-Dade Plumbers, researched many other plumbers on different sites from the Google Search Engine Results Page, decided to stick with THE BEST 10 PLUMBING IN MIAMI-DADE, FL- MAY 2024 Yelp Title Link from the Organic Results. Decided to select NATIONAL SERVICE PROS due to the following: Yelp Guaranteed, Verified License, 16 years in business, 4.5 Rating, majority 5 stars 109 Reviews. Contacted this company on behalf of my parents, due to possible corroded pipes and maybe some other broken device that was preventing the flow of water from the well to the house. During initial contact, spoke to Angel, he was respectful, patient, and helpful with listening to the issue and in explaining the process that it would take to assign a plumber to the requested location, diagnostic and other fees to be expected, payment methods. Plumber was assigned and on site in a timely manner. Issue was diagnosed and repaired shortly after. Diagnosis: new check valve for well water system had to be installed. The price included the following: installing new solvent, weld pvc check valve onto existing well water system, prime system for proper operation, used teflon paste and tape at all junctions, visual inspection after installation to ensure everything was working properly, all materials, all labor, 90-day warranty on labor and parts. Requested and received invoice via email with a link to pay online. Payment setup and transaction process was easy and did not take long. It appeared to be secure. Received payment confirmation email almost immediately afterwards. Overall pleasant experience submitting payment online. Due to my parent's comments and experience with and service of the plumber, and my interaction with Angel on the phone, I would consider using and/or recommending NATIONAL SERVICE PROS to others. It's summer time in South Florida which means if you're outside you'll be drenched in sweat and if your a/c breaks, not even being indoors will save you from melting away. Unfortunately for me, this was the case on a blistering hot Saturday. My usual repair/maintenance man was unavailable that day so I yelped away to find someone who could help. National Air & Heat came to the rescue same day, within two hours of the call. The person who came was professional and wasted no time. My a/c was up and running and before the sun had even set, my home was back to being a cool oasis from the heat. Granted, it was a pretty penny to get this done and I know this is the usual. They charge an emergency service after-hours fee of $150 for same day on the weekends and in total spent $750. Panicked to have my A/C stop cooling during these high heat summer days, I went online to try to find a reliable company that would be worth the call. With there being so many companies with not-so-great reviews, I was overwhelmed and a little discouraged by the idea that I could have a great experience. As per usual, I went to Yelp and came across National Service Pros with a Yelp Guaranteed badge. After reading to understand what that badge meant, I felt some comfort in moving forward to reach out to them. Angel responded within a few minutes, on a Sunday. I know they are open 24/7 but this was still impressive. We were able to talk through the issue I was having and work out when they could come to take a look. I live in a condo which adds a whole other layer of complexity when you need a contractor to come out a do service. I loved that I could handle everything through the Yelp app. Monday morning, I was sent my scheduled arrival window via email and text. When the technician, Eduard, was on the way, I received a link to be able to track him heading my way. I was pleasantly surprised and actually really like things like this as part of service. Eduard was nice, professional and knowledgeable. I've only had split units in a single-family home up to now, so the heat pump system is new to me. With my system's advanced age, he was also able to share with me some expectations and things to think about as new issues may arise. This is the second AC company I've tried for fixing this issue. My AC randomly blows out hot air. Someone from national air and heat came to look at it and said "it's fine." Also the unit is only five years old. He tried to tell me it was maybe the cooling tower in my building....but none of my neighbors are having this issue so it's not that. National air and heat was the 2nd company to take my money and repair nothing. I just got home from a trip and it's literally 100 degrees inside. The AC was blowing hot air for who knows how long. National Air & Heat was a life saver!! It was the Saturday of Art Basel, and another hot Miami day. Our air conditioner had begun running hot the night before. Sleeping was difficult, and I was upset that we would have to pay extra given it was a weekend, if we could even get help. Key Largo-September 2023 We are very satisfied with their air duct cleaning services. Our house doesn't have elevator and to reach the second level there is a spiral staircase which made difficult for their huge machine to pass through. So they had to disassemble the machine, with the best disposition. Andrew Barreto was the main technician and he was very proactive and creative to be able to do the job in both levels. In early July, I called NSP because our AC was struggling to keep the house cool. The temperature was always 2 or 3 degrees warmer than what it was set to. I reached out on a Saturday and they had someone out the same day for a diagnostic. The tech checked the inside and outside units, determined what the issue was, and showed me what the charge would be up front. On Monday a different tech came out and was able to clean the coils on both units. He worked diligently to resolve the issue pretty quickly. It's been two months and the ac is working perfectly. I appreciate the prompt response, the up front (no hassle) pricing, and the techs' professionalism. Communication with the office was also great. They contacted the manufacture Rheem, submitted a warranty claim on replacement parts, and replaced the units entire coil with OEM parts same day. I am so impressed with National Service Pros after dealing with three other AC companies in a week. All of them told me we needed a new AC, that the repair to our 8 year old AC was going to cost thousands, not to mention it was too small for the condo so would never be able to cool it properly. We just moved here, having bought from an elderly widow, so what would we know about this AC? All we knew was that it didn't cool properly for first few days we were here, and then stopped blowing cool air completely. We thought it might just need coolant, but again... what do we know? So I started shopping around for AC's and wasted a week sitting in an 80 degree condo we'd just moved into. After the last supposed reputable company I was dealing with couldn't come through with the AC they promised (it didn't fit!!! You'd think they'd have figured that out right off the bat!!), I was fit to be tied. And sleep deprived from the heat. Enter Nick. First, a person actually answered. Second, he was friendly and professional and down to earth. Within an hour I had a text with the name AND picture of the tech that was coming out to our place, and the link to track how close he was and would arrive. The tech shows up, professional, neat, and gets down to business. I have pics of the problem, and I had cool air blasting in my house within the hour. The fix? Less than half the cost of what I was told by others. Far from the "thousands" I was told would be money thrown out the door to fix it. If only I'd found these guys first. Lesson learned. I'm going to need a new water heater soon, and eventually I'll be getting that variable stage AC we want. Never calling anyone else. Check the BBB rating, the reviews, and you'll see.
