This rating is a bit overdue. Bought an new AC unit from Polluxair. They handled the removal of the old one and the installation of the new one. Very smoothly, I was super satisfied. Post-sales customer service was also very good. Leo is super responsive, I had a couple of questions about the new AC and he always came personally to check that everything was working correctly. In a couple of years I'll have to replace my other (second) AC unit, and I'll definitively come back as a customer! 100% recommended! read more

Zero follow up. So they come Into check my hvac system. Charge $160 for the visit and tell me they would call back for the cost to repair it. When I call them its as they knew nothing. I have to explain I was waiting for an estimate and all the details of the previous tech. They tell me $600 for the repair. When I agree they tell me oh, another $250 to deliver the parts to you. Pollux Air came out to fix my unit which was not cooling. After their techs inspected my unit I was told the problem was the motor which they replaced and although the unit didn't seem to cool as much as before it was an improvement, however within 2 weeks the unit again stopped to completely cool even though the fan seemed to be working, they came back told me it was due to the capacitor and fixed the issue. Unit is working great now, but I can't help but wonder if I needed that initial motor? or was the capacitor the issue all along??? I don't know any better, and I guess I hope they are being honest, and to be honest they seem to be. On the bright side, they are very prompt and professional, and they invoice bill which is convenient for somebody with a busy schedule. Will I work with them again? Most likely. read more

I called Pollux for an estimate for a new A/C unit after contacting a few others and found them to have the best and reasonable deal. I chose the financing option and their process was easy and flawless. After approval of financing they told me that It would take 3 weeks to get to my house. Being told that did not sit well with me but I kept positive and told myself that hopefully my current unit will hold up till then. During the wait I recieved my new electric bill for the month and freaked out it was so high on top of that, the consistent humid days my unit could not handle it and was on constantly. I called Pollux again to see if they can get my new unit in sooner and they came through about 11 days sooner. Installation was on point within the time told you me. The technician showed up with a mask. He was able to resolve the issue with our AC unit and get it running again. Our problem started when the thermostat stoped working. My husband bought a new one, but then the compressor would not turn on. Pollux technician was able to find a disconnected cable that was making the new thermostat not to run. In the future we will always call them for our AC units needs. (Especially because a different company technician told us that he couldn't fix it and we needed to buy a new ac unit ) read more

This company is a white glove service from beginning to end. I cannot begin to explain how great they were. Leo was available on facetime first, and then came over for an estimate on my air handler replacement. He explained the different types of machines in the market, and gave me advice on what would be more appropriate long term for my condo. On the day of the replacement, Iosvany and his colleague showed up on time, always very attentive, polite, and with a big smile and disposition. A stark difference from the experience I had with another company. They stayed, on a Friday, until 8pm, to make sure the replacement was fully in order, including rewiring my unit to allow the heater to work. They vacummed and cleaned the area as well. Payment was made online, after the service was completed, with an online invoice and following receipt. Honestly, I think I found a pot of gold here, when it comes to AC maintenance. Our house has had the original AC unit system for over 25 years. Said AC unit system has given out on us on numerous occasions and has also left my room flooded with water on countless occasions. This past Friday our AC unit system gave out on us again. While searching online I stumbled upon Pollux Air Conditioning. I called Pollux Air Conditioning and within an hour they had a technician over our house giving us a free estimate. Mind you, this is about 7:00 P.M. on a Friday night. Within an hour of their technician leaving our house, they Emailed me the estimate prices and pertinent information relating to the varies options that they had to offer. My parents decided on the AC unit system package that was recommended to them and would be most economical for them and got back to Pollux Air Conditioning with their final decision on Saturday morning. Regardless, all of the replacement estimates provided to us were fair and were also reasonably priced. The various deals offered included financing options as well. Shortly after submitting our contract acceptance to Pollux Air Conditioning they advised us that their technicians would arrive at our home at 8:30 A.M. on Sunday morning. At 8:30 A.M. on Sunday morning, literally on the actual dot, I received a phone call that their technicians were outside and were ready to commence their job. Lily, who helped coordinate it all, was very delightful and was also very quick to respond. The technicians who replaced the AC unit system were kind and punctual and knew exactly what they were doing. For a not so pleasant situation to be in (not having a functioning AC unit system) Pollux Air Conditioning amazingly made this a surprisingly very pleasant experience! My husband called Pollux on a Tuesday when our AC started blowing out hot air, they told us they would be out in a few hours (we called at 5pm they gave an estimate of 7:30pm arrival) I was able to unfreeze the AC myself but still wanted them to come out next day off. We called to reschedule for a daytime appointment and they couldn't have been nicer about it. Leo, the tech, gave me a call approx 30 minutes before arrival, when he arrived he wore a mask and maintained a distance from my husband and myself the entire time. We had absolutely no idea what was wrong with our AC and he could've easily given any diagnoses and we would've believed it. Instead he was very honest and told us our Freon and coils looked good and that since we have dogs that shed we should simply change the filter ever 10-14 days instead of 30 days. Excellent service. Great communication. I contacted them at around 9pm and within 10 minutes they sent a response and were able to pencil me in the following day. They arrived at my house and troubleshot my AC unit, and provided expert opinions on how to improve the cooling inside my house. I agreed to their suggestions and a couple days later they added a duct to my AC unit, replaced an incorrect vent in my kitchen for a two way vent , and found a leak in the system that was coming from a bad weld .
