As soon I arrive in 15 mins, I noticed their waiting room is packed. He sits me down as if I was getting a pedicure fill the bowl up with warm water tells me to stick my feet in. I waited 5 mins water turned cold I took my feet out the water for 15 mins I had my feet out the water they noticed then came around and filled my water bowl again with hot water. Waiting around for another 30 mins no one attended me. Point is - when someone calls you to ask if you have availability please tell them no. Don't try and fit every single person in. My time was limited and now wasted on your stupidity of being greedy. I could've gone somewhere else that could have performed as soon as possible. read more

First of all my service requested was simply that I have a nail tech that speaks English. The only one that I knew this book English was the guy at the desk who kind of rolled his eyes and just put me with a gentleman who was nice enough but didn't speak English at all. Now I realize this is not my first time here and I've asked this before and I've got the same treatment. It's rather difficult to be in a place for service for two or more hours to get a pedicure and a fill just listening to them speak to each other anytime everybody speaks English. I'm a big communicator I really disagree with this. The biggest thing that I wanted to make sure that I put in this review was a couple days ago I was exhausted from working all week it was a Friday night and all I wanted to do was just get my nails done and go home. After the guy at the desk treated me the way he did with disregard and disrespect I'd already decided I was never coming back here again even though it's convenient and the closest to my house. When I went to pay they told me it was $100 I said I didn't understand why I was at $100 because I got $35 pedicure? Then I was told well there was a $15 charge for the chair. Now I don't know if this just was just them trying to get away with something cuz maybe the boss or the owner wasn't there or something I don't know because I have never been charged for the "Chair" EVER BEFORE. In the description of the $35 pedicure it includes the massage chair. I am not a woman to ever mince words. I was disgusted and very upset that they knowingly overcharged me thinking that what that I was too stupid to know that. But as many of you probably know in life when you've worked so many hours and split shifts it just don't have the energy to say anything or argue. I knew I could write a review. The kicker of this whole experience was after I paid the money that they requested. The older lady tech in the first row on the left yelled out thank you thank you don't forget the tip don't forget the tip and write a review for us to get more business. I responded I certainly will. This was in Winter Haven Florida on Cypress gardens boulevard. I strongly suggest that you don't go there there are many many nail salons in Winter Haven and the surrounding cities. When I finally asked how much longer it would be, they said another 30 mins . They don't let you know upfront how long the wait will actually be, which is really frustrating--especially for something quick like a single nail fix. What a great first experience! I walked in without an appointment on a Saturday evening and they took me right away. The inside of the salon is beautiful! Very helpful front desk staff. I went here on opening weekend and I thought it was a pretty good experience especially the cleanliness due to COVID. The only annoying thing on my first trip was the main lady kept asking to do purple powder on my pink and white ombré fill because it's too hard to match the pinks. I had already told her I didn't mind the pinks not matching because my nails were ombré. Today's walk in started at 5:35pm signed in simple, I was asked what I wanted and I said a fill and pedicure. I was asked to wash my hands and they would be right with me. Ok everything is going good. I get called to a pedi chair pretty quickly. Here comes the bad part they always ask regular or gel. I get gel on my toes because they last longer. So don't offer gel if you don't know how to remove it. The lady used the drill first to break down the first coat then lays drenched cotton on my toes with nail polish remover to help get the old gel off. The issue here is the lady was drilling into the skin around my toe nails OUCH! This pedicure lasted forever who complains about that? Well I guess me this time knowing I needed a fill and it was the end of the night for them and me on a Monday. The pedicure didn't end until 7:05pm. So they check me out not remembering about the fill that they asked me to wash my hands for. Mind you my friend came with me and she had her fill and pedicure done all by 6:30pm. WTH? listen guys, my experience here was horrible today. i went with my three sisters and mom just to get out and have a nice girls day - none of us had a good time. we get there and the host was so rude, literally treating us like we were actually stupid and an inconvenience. that wasn't appreciated. then after being seating for our pedicures, it wasn't an awful pedicure experience but it wasn't a relaxing one. we were being rushed, which was obvious. moving on to our manicures, my lady specifically was just....ugh. so, i sit down for my manicure and just a few mins into my manicure, she doesn't even give me a hand massage because she got so distracted on her phone and stopped for TEN MINUTES to text and be on her phone mid manicure. after she got off her phone, she started paining my nails, totally skipping the massage part, and instantly, actively started a phone call while painting my nails. she would get so distracted from the call that my fingernail polish started bubbling because of inconsistency. she also cut me twice and was annoyed that i was bleeding. my family has their stories here too and none are good. please don't go here. Terrible experience!!! I had an appointment for 2:00 that I had set over the phone early this morning. I arrived at the salon at 1:55, but was left to wait over half an hour before I was even seated at a booth. The technician (Kim T on the receipt, she never introduced herself) did not thank me for waiting or apologize for the long wait. Instead, she went over to another booth to chat with a different customer for a few minutes before coming over to me. When she finally started on my nails, she dialed someone on her cell phone and talked to them while holding the phone against her ear with her shoulder! I only went in for an acrylic fill, but because she was distracted by the phone conversation while filing off my old polish, she nicked one of my nails and broke the tip. At this point, at least she hung up the phone, but then another technician came and sat down next to her and proceeded to talk with her for the remainder of my appointment. In the end, a fill that should have taken 30 to 45 minutes actually took an hour and a half, plus instead of feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, I felt tense and furious. I was charged for additional polish (I only got a single, solid color), a "cut down" which I assume was filing down the edges (that should be included in the price of a fill), AND I was charged for the nail that she broke because she was talking on the phone! I selected the lowest tip option available and am never returning. read more

ula@dbpr.state.fl.us 850-487-1395 please call to report unlicensed nail techs in the state of florida! if more people call we can put a stop to unlicensed, unsanitary people being allowed to work in these nail shops! i had a horrible experience here! i got a $50 pedicure and they couldn't remove one tiny callus on my toe! my feet and legs are itchy and dry after getting a horrible pedicure! when i have gotten a pedicure in the past my feet are soft and look nice not dry and itchy! my dip nails were soft and gummy! my cuticles were red raw from the lady filing my skin instead of my nails! the lady clearly was not a licensed nail technician! which it is illegal to be preforming pedicures or nail services! i was charged $110 for a pedicure and dip nails which i would gladly pay for a good service but this was terrible and painful! i paid and left and then went back in to talk with a manager who clearly could have cared less about the terrible service! she rudely, unprofessionally snapped at a girl no top coat and walked away! the girly fixed the top coat but obviously they did not care that my skin was painful and dry from the unprofessional service i will never set foot in there again! i will be calling the state board of licensing and better business. bureau! if my skin gets any worse i will be seeing a doctor and attorney! you can not have unlicensed nail tecs working in your shop! you can not be so rude to customers and expect to stay in business! it is also not funny to giggle when your soap dispensers are not working! its unsanitary! i should also be calling the board of health! your company really should reconsider their lack of customer service!!!!! read more

I went in for the first time. I had gel on my nails and I needed a fill. I then did my toes. When I check out they charged $5 to take off gel $5 to shorten my nails. They barely took any length off. I wanted a $55 service with two big toes acrylic and white gel polish. I get my feet done often but this was the first time at this place due to my girl quitting where I usually go due to family issues. The-nail tech was rushing then does not provide all of the items within the service, doesn't even put my whole foot in the paraffin just my heels. When she was done she didn't even clean between my toes, assist with putting my shoes on etc. she just got up and went over to another client. When walking to my car I was sliding so much due to the lotion and feeling the grit from filing between my toes. I had to go back in for paper towels. They asked what was wrong I told them and they got the girl to wipe my feet but I refused because I was annoyed already. While painting she had the gel polish so far away from my cuticles. I ask why was it so far. You can clearly see the distance from my cuticle and the polish. I was finished before a lady who started be fore me. The service was supposed to be 50 minutes. I didn't get a massage. It was basically lotion and oil application. We go for the tranquility, relaxation and pampering. As a woman of color I will say I've never faced such discrimination and obvious terrible customer service in my life. I had my nails done in an acrylic fashion as I always do and they fell off 6 days later. Kim who was doing my nails spoke in Vietnamese the entire time, making eye contact with me but not addressing me while she spoke to the other nail techs, they made me very uncomfortable while they laughed. The nails didn't look great and there was excessive nail polish and product on the sides of my fingers, the shape wasn't what I asked for and tried to correct her while she was doing them but was dismissed. I was shocked by this behavior. When I tried to tell a manger I was accused of trying to scam the salon and told to never to come again. How ever the last couple visits I've been going to her she's been very unpleasant, bad attitude, rushing, schedule an appointment with her she try to put you off with another nail tech When you clearly schedule an appointment with her. You can tell her exactly how you want your nails she will try to talk you out of it... depending on her schedule to get a quicker style..... Very unprofessional !!! I also think its very rude to get with your coworkers speaking a different language that the customer doesn't understand... when you clearly know she's talking about you when her whole staff focus is on you. Horrible experience twice, the first time I let it slide by ( my nail broke the very next day ) but thankfully they fixed it . But the second time it was kind of my fault I must admit because I asked for something and it wasn't what I had expected. The nails came out very poor quality! The girl was rushing to finish and spoke very low I could barely hear her so I would say "yes" to everything she'd ask .
