I remember going here a couple of years ago, and I just want to alert people that they switched my masseur mid-session. The original masseur actually had good hands, but the person that replaced her had no technique for it. So then my masseur that had started my massage went out to service a different customer. I hate that! Then I listened to I think the owner or manager verbally abuse, my new technician repeatedly. I mean seriously - she's a rage-alcoholic! I don't know about you, but I go places like this to relax! I walked out thinking it's so close to my house, but I will absolutely never set foot in there again! NOPE! If you smoke cigarettes and need a massage, this is your jam!! It REEKS of cigarette smoke! YUCKKKKK!! I walked in after some hesitation from reading the reviews, and because it looks like one of "those" massage places. Yeah, you know what I'm talking about. *wink* As soon as I opened the door (which shut kind of loudly behind me), one lady came out from a back room, and another came out of the room to my immediate left. As I'm about to take a picture of their ONLY price list posted on the wall, the lady who barely speaks English says, "No pictures! No pictures!" as she waves her hands in front of her. Ummm.. okayyyyy. No wonder they don't have one of those "People love us on YELP" stickers on their window. Well, if you're curious, 60 minutes is $60, and I think a half hour is $45. They also have a 90-minute combo, but I forgot the price. You also have to make an appointment as they don't take walk-ins (I wonder why?!). Idk what the big deal is with not being allowed to take pics in here, but if my woman's intuition is serving me right, this place needs to be shut down ASAP if you know what I mean. The google page is misleading, says that they have promos and they don't, tried to call ahead and nobody picked up the phone, since the page says they accept walk ins I went for it. The lady there was not in the front desk but came out of one of the rooms, no speaking English but just saying yes and that I should have called ahead and try to explain to her that I tried before but seems like she was not able to understand me. I went to Grand Massage after working out earlier in the week and being a little sore. I called ahead to book a time and duration. I asked for a one hour, full-body massage. When I arrived I was met by the lady that would ultimately perform my massage. Her name was Coco and she was very pleasant. The massage was great. Took care to concentrate on my sore areas. The massage lasted exactly one hour. Used oil, then a hot towel at the end to remove it. Included a head and face massage. This place is legit. One of the worst massage experiences I have ever had. The gal who did my massage never did any consultation to see what I needed or what I was comfortable with. She kept pulling the sheet to expose my breasts and pulled my underwear down halfway down my butt. At one point she almost pulled my underwear down to expose my private part. Susan was able to get me in for an appointment the same day. I had some issues with my shoulder and back, and after explaining that to her, she set to work to provide me with an amazing massage. It was the "good hurt" kind of massage, and she was able to apply a solid amount of pressure to the areas that needed it the most. she was very engaging and checked in often about the level of pressure, and general feedback on the massage. My shoulder feels great, and while my leg muscles are still recovering, they feel far less tight. Very professional. I'll return. read more
