I was going to this place regularly. The woman who answers the texts or did gave me a massage once and it was fantastic. I'd go back to her however I needed a copy of a receipt and they would not respond or help me. I could text to say I wanted a massage and get a response but not for the customer service. I was excited for grief massage and reiki healing. I felt like the therapist didnt understand me. On website it said you can be clothed. She kind of pushed to take my bra off and I had it on. Then It says gentle and it was not gentle..I said soft and she did more medium. I did enjoy the reiki healing..maybe I will come back for that. I came to Mantra Karuna today when I woke up in terrible pain. I was so thankful to be able to get an appointment so quickly. I had sent a message requesting to be seen earlier if anything was available and they got me in 45 minutes earlier than I booked online. My massage therapist really focused on the areas of my back that were tight and the problem areas. Probably one of the best massages I have had for a problem area. Mantra Karuna is a place of healing. You can come to get a customized massage (60, 90 min or even 2 hour). You can also get a prenatal or grieving massage and add reiki to almost any service. I've tried the 60, 90 and a combination of cupping + reiki and came out feeling like a new person! I've seen a few therapists here, but Amy is my favorite! She had strong hands and gets into all of my knots. The pressure she applies is consistent from beginning to end (even for a 90 minute massage).. I came in recently because I was suffering from migraines + the tightness in my shoulder got worse over recent days. After seeing Amy, my shoulder was loose along with other areas in my body that were tight. She gave me the reset I needed! Mantra Karuna isn't a spa, but the therapists all make me feel leaving like a brand new person (after some rest of course). The setting is very serene, calm and inviting. So Zen! Mantra Karuna was well recommended to me by a family member. In light of my wife's birthday, I booked us for a couple's massage online. You are given the choice to pay online or pay there. They had a nice outside patio waiting area. We didn't have to wait, and were shown immediately to our room. As soon as you enter, you immediately feel the tranquility in the room. They have music playing and dimmed lighting. Now the massage itself was amazing. It was a full on full body massage. We were long overdue to get one. I really cannot say enough great things about this place. My mother and I went in for our second time yesterday, and we both left our massages feeling so relaxed, rejuvenated, and healed. My massage therapist, Amy, went above and beyond to make my experience as wonderful as it could have been. As part of normal protocol, before starting the massage, she opened up a conversation about my preferences and areas of concern. Once we went over those things, we started with the massage as normal. I recognized right away that she is a master at what she does; she knew what areas of my body held tension, and she could sense that I needed some deep breathing to fully relax. The part that blew me away the most was when Amy started deep breathing, in through the nose out through the mouth, so that I could have an easier time doing it myself. She would repeat this throughout the massage when she felt as though I needed to deep breathe, and I thought this gesture was unbelievably helpful and kind. I know I tend to be tense, so it meant so much to me that Amy took the time and energy to help me fully relax and feel comfortable. I've never had a massage therapist do that type of work with me, and it truly meant the world to me. The massage was incredible, and even as I'm writing this the day after I still feel its positive effects. Another thing to note, they just opened up a tea shop next door! The owner, Nok, is so incredibly kind as well. The decor both inside and outside is stunning, and the overall atmosphere was so calming. It was an excellent spot to enjoy some tea after the massage.
