After being surprised by Josef's approximately $900 quote to replace the movement of the watch (a standard quartz movement that itself is available for sale online for ~$40) I took the watch to JR Dunn in Pompano--an authorized Tag dealer and repair shop, where Josef's is not--and was quoted less than $300 to have the entire job done, by Tag themselves, with a warranty. Shamelessly quoting 3x a certified dealer for the exact same job is outrageous.

I even took a diamond tennis bracelet at one point because the clasp of the closure was not closing securely. She had someone tighten it up for me and didn't charge me a dime!
