Discouraged, I headed home. I received a voicemail later from a different number that I had missed my appointment. The Tenpenny INTEGRATIVE MEDICAL office is actually located in the back of the building. Apparently I am the first person to ever have this problem, but putting this out there for the rest of you. I liked the way it was organized with different hallways and doorways for different services.I visited with Dr. Bobbi and she took the time to explore injuries not pertaining to my back and based off that information got an x-ray. She found similar results from my knee in my back and was so thoughtful in explaining the results to me in a way I could understand.Since it was my first time she gave me warning before the alignment what it would be like and even told me when and where she would be putting her hands. The tools she used really targeted problem areas and were cool including acupuncture and pressure. The rest of the staff was beyond friendly engaging in conversation while you wait and genuinely seemed interested in your responses. This definitely feels like a place people frequent for not only the service but for the experience as well. I'm excited to go back and to check out a massage! It's beyond just not having a lot of options; it's far better than that. This is a hard decision but you can trust that everyone here is trying to provide you too-notch care. There might be a few protesters but it's not overwhelming and quite frankly, they're no good at it. Also, it used to be that you get it all done in one day but current laws make it so you have to come back a second or maybe third day. This makes it hard for hourly and tipped-workers to accomplish this but please just vote accordingly to rollback Roe restrictions.

I don't know what you'd do if you're disabled or coming off anesthesia and can't walk. If you try to get your own records you're likely to find they're messed up somehow. I still don't know what they were using to make me so sick-- it has NEVER happened to me from just anesthesia. When I went to the doctor later I was told there was a lot missing from my chart, like how much they used of different drugs. You don't know what they're putting into you while you're sedated or who did it. But that's nothing compared to the way they treat you in there. Nobody tells you how bad it hurts or how long you'll be in your bathtub at home bleeding. Nobody seemed to care if I was okay once I'd already signed the papers and paid. It's like you're a walking transaction, not a patient. There was this poor woman shaking and vomiting blood. I could vomit myself just thinking about the condition she was in. Staff brushed off concerns-- "she's fine" my foot! Nobody who's fine vomits blood like that! The staff seemed more concerned about the mess than the woman who looked like she was dying. I realized how easily that could have been me and that they probably would have been just as nonchalant. So bad. I feel nauseous even thinking about this place. Even if my periods ever stop feeling like agony or the scarring in my uterus goes away, I don't think the nightmares ever will.
