The cutest shop with the most relaxing vibe. We were on a walkabout around the crossroads and wandered in- we will definitely be back for the soaps and best candles I've ever smelled. On top of all that, after learning it had been our wedding day, the owner gifted us with the most beautiful dusty pink rose bouquet on our way out. Truly brought tears to my eyes and made my day. Please support our local shops!

We were visiting from out of town and stumbled upon Verdant. It's a super cute plant shop! Both live and dried plants and flowers are available. They also have cards, soy candles, pots, and such. I got a postcard and they provided stamps! Service was very friendly!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Super cool yet small plant and flower shop in the Crossroads. Other than parking being nearly impossible, they have a great selection of healthy plants, pottery and candles. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My favorite plant shop in KC.

Judging by the sheer amount of gift cards to Verdant I've been given, it's safe to say everyone knows that this is my happy place. From the first time I entered the store, I felt treasured. On my weekly trips to buy flowers for my home (if you're reading this - it's your sign to buy yourself flowers) the feeling has never changed. Verdant is a magical place. The women who work there are brilliant when it comes to all things plants and flowers. After check out, they wrap up your purchases with exquisite detail - as if you just spent thousands on a high end handbag. The customer service is consistently special, even in busy days. And we MUST talk about it the flowers! I thought I didn't like roses until I met the likes of the Toffee Rose, Amnesia Rose, Earl Gray Rose, Princess Miyuki Garden Rose, and others. If you're looking for unique, expertly curated, cottage-core beauty -- look no further! Peonies, Butterfly Ranunculus, Fresh Lavender, Chocolate Queen Anne's Lace, Pink Forget Me Nots - every flower holds a story. Verdant has even taught me about flowers I never knew before and I love them all. Their bouquets are so affordable and approachable (just grab one from the refrigerated display case!) that I buy them often as gifts. Here is the pricing rundown: 4" Bouquets - $8 7" Bouquets - $18 Stem Bouquets (includes vase and kenzan) $64 Verdant Bouquets $54 -all bouquets can be purchased with a beautiful Convivial vase! -you can also buy individual stems! There is so much more I could say about my absolute favorite place in KC, but you're just going to have to enter the wonderland to see for yourself. You won't regret it!

I can't remember the name of the lady who helped me but she was super sweet! The shop is filled with suck a huge variety of flowers so I was overwhelmed, she made is really easy to find the perfect bouquet for my girlfriend! You guys should stop by. They also have a points program where you can earn a free arrangement!

I was able to snag a nerve plant as well a fern.

Sky was great! As a new plant person she was super patient and answered my non stop firing of questions. The shop is small but FILLED with variety for each budget. Will be back!

This little place is such a gem. I already told my husband that he isn't allowed to get me flowers from anywhere else. The store is small, but so inviting and beautiful when you walk in. They're actually a ceramics shop that does floral arrangements, vases and plants. The shop owner, Jenn, was so kind and full of info! She just moved here over a year ago from Chicago and is getting settled in the area. Everything is sourced locally, which I love. Make sure to pop in and grab some flowers or a plant! You won't be disappointed.

The lovely gals working scrambled to find some jumper cables. And a nice gentleman that works there (sorry I didn't grab his name - I was stressing too much) came and helped me clear off the terminals and jump it so I could get to the shop. Not a fun experience after driving up from OP to get that serotonin boost, but they helped make it much less stressful than it could have been. Truly awesome people! I LOVE the fact that I can find succulents (and others) in 2" pots. That means I can give a plant a go, and if it's a drama queen needing more attention than I will give it, I'm not out much money if it un-alive's itself due to my neglect. Their clematis and hellebores come in so many varieties. And the alocasia plants were plentiful! I was in heaven selecting plants to bring home. Follow them on FB to see their new arrivals.

They had so many beautiful flowers and plants it made me wish a) I was a green thumb and b) I had a space to keep all of them in! My favorite display was Greece because I'd lived there a while ago, so it was fun to see their concept. That said, though, I loved all of the gardens. They were well planned and fun to take a quick stroll through/around. As to pricing, I labeled this as moderate, but really I think it just depends on what plant, planter, garden art, etc., you're looking for--the prices seem reasonable to me. One lady there suggested I subscribe to their newsletter to find out about upcoming events. I definitely want to go again, if for nothing else than to walk down the paths to see the blooming flowers.

I sometimes notice some religious undertones where which feels odd, but everyone is nice and it's a fun spot to spend a dreary day when you need a pick me up.
