    I was skeptical at first, but Lisa's program delivers in every possible way. I lost fat while getting stronger. I have more energy than I have in years, and overall, feel fantastic, all thanks to Lisa. Why Was I skeptical? I grew up playing sports up until college and "knew" how to eat well. I never thought a nutritionist or trainer could teach me something I couldn't just research on the internet myself. What changed? I hit my heaviest point in my life at 180 and couldn't find the motivation needed to commit to a diet or workout regiment. I looked for help and came across Lisa through a friend who had success. What happened next? I LOVE MEAT, and early on I still ate some and I did have success with Lisa's workout program and nutrition advice. She eventually coached me and convinced me to fully commit to a vegan diet and that's when I started to see changes in my body and behavior. I was more energetic in the mornings, I slept better, and my body seemed to recover faster. Her workouts are fun and she does a great job of keeping it interesting. I still have some ways to go but I am confident I will get there. So don't be like me and wait around, I highly recommend giving Lisa a call, like everyone else who has left her a review, she will Change your life. Your health is not worth sacrifice.

I've surpassed my original goal weight, lowered my body fat to healthy (nearly athletic) levels, and feel stronger, more toned, and confident. My clothes fit great, and most importantly, I've been able to stay consistent without feeling burned out or restricted. About 4-6 weeks in, it became clear this program was delivering results I hadn't experienced before, even after working with other trainers. Instead of feeling demoralized, I felt motivated and genuinely excited to show up. Working with Anton (at the new Santa Monica location) has been a huge part of that success. He has an incredible focus on form, education, and accountability, delivered in a way that feels supportive, doable, and sustainable. He's kind but firm, without the ego or machismo you often find in this space, and it's clear he and the entire team are invested in real progress, not just selling sessions. I've learned how to balance training, nutrition, and sleep, and how to fine-tune calories and macros in a way that supports my goals without feeling painfully restrictive. Ultimate Performance is professional, clean, and staffed by knowledgeable, friendly people. The experience has been great. It requires commitment, focus, hard work, and actually doing the work. Anton helped me to focus on recovery and building strength so I could care for myself and my baby. But also loose the excess weight that I don't need on my small frame. I've lost 25 lbs since starting the program, and expect to loose more. I will continue to do this program as it's helped me reach a new level of stretch and establish health eating habits.

This location is larger than the others so it's really spacious. At the SM location I've trained with Martine, Conrad, and Sean and, as usual, all are well trained, know their shit, pay attention, and are fantastic trainers! They keep you motivated. And it's great taking classes from different trainers because each one will give you a little tip that will land different for everyone. Clean facilities and everybody gets their own squat rack for an hour. Time is our most precious non renewable resource in our hectic lives. To get in a full body workout without waiting to share equipment and not spend any mental energy and time programming my workouts makes this membership a great value. 2. It's not HIIT, it's pure strength training using barbells and dumbbells. With 2-3 minutes of rest in between sets. 3. The classes are small and maybe 10 people at the most. It is more of a semi private training experience - all the attention and individualized focus of a top trainer with the social benefits of being part of a positive community. 4. Fast Results. Pure and simple. I've done it all: F45, Barry's, Orangetheory, Indoor Cycling, Hot yoga, kickboxing, etc. I am the strongest, leanest I've ever been and because my metabolism has skyrocketed by adding muscle mass, it's so freeing not to watch calories anymore.

Ray is a no nonsense, just get in and get your workout in type of trainer. I have had great results in working with Ray, Ive lost more weight than I have ever lost - I am at the lowest that I have ever weighed. I am leaner than I have ever been and it is in large part due to Ray's support, encouragement and knowledge. Ray has been a part of the fitness world - it sounds like forever - and with that comes a wealth of knowledge of different types and ways of training. He is able to pull on this knowledge and create a program specifically to fit your needs, limitations, goals, and body's resistance to change. Thank you and wish this gentleman a promotion asap!!! The club was very clean, and had employees consistently cleaning and turning off unused machines. Everyone was very respectful and thoughtful when others waited for machines. The weight room had every single machine you could possibly need, and the track inside is a wonderful addition to the cardio options. Highly recommend this location.

I told the woman who was cleaning, and she casually said there are roaches there all the time because it's an old building. She seemed to dismiss it like it was normal, which was really disappointing and honestly gross. I also told the staff at the front desk, and they looked surprised, but clearly this is an ongoing issue if the cleaning staff already knows about it. On top of that, they charge $1 for parking. With the amount of people paying to use this gym and paying for parking, they should absolutely be able to afford proper extermination and better maintenance. The pool and jacuzzi area were also completely closed off, and there were no clear signs explaining what was being done or when it would reopen. Overall, the gym felt old, dirty, and poorly maintained. Seeing a roach in the locker room while changing was enough for me. I won't be coming back.

Don't know anyone's names but it's comforting knowing they'll be there. The staff since I joined, has been great. The front staff always greet you and say goodbye haha. It's like when you're having a rough day and the cashier at Trader Joe's cheers you up. Even the membership card scanner says happy birthday to you! The maintenance staff is always friendly and say hello. The womens locker room is clean. There's rarely any towels just laying on surfaces in the locker room. I never see litter. Doesn't smell gross. Some lockers have broken hinges, but there's literally hundreds to choose from. I like the new glute and cardio equipment. I've taken a few classes- kickboxing with Steven and Robert and then the mobility pop-up. Steven is more cardio kickboxing while Robert is more about technique. I enjoy chatting with Robert. We always have fun convos. I want to try the cardio dance class. I feel like that would be fun. Shout out to Nic and Donovan. They were the ones who welcomed me on day 1. I miss Gabby's playlists! That being said, the disinfectant wipe order needs to increase. I go through about two wipes per workout- one when I hit the strength machines and the second one when I hit cardio. Or maybe a bottle of disinfectant like how planet fitness has disinfectant stations (2 bottles and a roll of paper towels). See you tomorrow!

You should expand to new locations around LA. With that said, there is one area of improvement to work on. The lobby. It's outdated and needs a refresh. 1. The black and white photos in the lobby scream 1989. They need to go. Move the very cool "graffiti"style oversized poster to replace the black and white photos. It would look amazing. It's the perfect background for photo opportunities and Instagra. 2. The brass symbol sculpture needs to go. Its weird. It's broke. No need to prominently display something broken. Move the two randomly placed oversized black framed artwork on the back wall to replace the brass symbol thing. 3. The branches on the front counter with string lights look cheesy and cheap. They need to go. Buy 2-3 tall table lamps to go on the front counter instead. First impressions count. These small changes would significantly improve first impression of the gym. Thansk !
