I recently came to this weight loss medical spa to start my weight loss journey feeling very motivated. After coming to this facility, not only was the front desk staff rude, but the nurse practitioner and the nurse both made me feel very uncomfortable for different reasons. The nurse talk to me as if she was talking down to me about my eating choices even though I am at the facility to work on my weight loss journey. And the nurse practitioner, Dr. vu, kept staring at my breast, not realizing I was getting more uncomfortable as the conversation went on. I highly do not recommend this place. You will have a horrible experience most likely just like I did. Even with the people coming in as regulars, they were not even friendly to them. So like I said, if you want a great experience with professional staff, do not come here. read more

My experience at Veritas Medical Center has been a totally positive one. When I first walked in, I was impressed (and relieved) at how clean and pleasant the interior is. I also like the fact that you are screened at a locked door before being allowed to enter. The staff have without exception been friendly and professional and very, very efficient. First and foremost I would like to say thank you to Dr. Du, Cory and the entire team at Veritas. I most definitely couldn't have completed this journey without the help of this team and I am truly grateful for it. A little backstory on my journey that led me to seek for some help the heaviest I have been is 186 pounds and I'm 5'4 and after a year of being at that weight, it started taking a toll on my body, especially with the type of work that I do which is very physical, but I would continue to eat food that was not good for me and I had no control with my portion sizes. I would over eat. I also if I'm being completely honest with myself was depressed and I believe that eating would help with how I was feeling at the time. After months of searching the web, I am so glad that I found Veritas! I have been interested in getting b12 shots to help improve my energy and what not. When I called to make an appointment I spoke to Cory, who was super kind and thorough enough to explain the different vitamin shots they offer. Literally the next day I was in to get my first shot. :) The medical office is lovely and very clean. As I was waiting in the lobby for me to get called back, a few patients were coming out and I noticed how happy they were, so that definitely stood out. I was called back by the medical assistant (I believe) where she took my vitals. I wish I remembered her name, as she was very polite. Dr. Du came into my room to assess my health and ask about my goals. His bedside manners were amazing! You can tell he really cares about all his patients. Finally, the medical assistant came back into the room to give me my shot in the glute. She was very professional and had such a soft touch, as the shot did not hurt whatsoever! I am currently a patient of Veritas. So, here's my review in real time :-) On August 16, 2022 I had quite enough of diets. I've tried every diet known to civilization. Combine that with my PCOS and I thought nothing would ever work for me. I was 30 lbs over weight and sick of it all. I decided to give medically supervised weight loss one more chance. This place had great reviews and was close to my house. I looked at their website and noticed right away that they have several solutions for weight loss. I decided to give them a call and make an appointment. The doctor and nursing staff were very knowledgeable and even had a recommendation for me even though I had PCOS. I was a skeptic but decided to try the custom protocol they recommended for me. And I'm so glad I did! In the first week, I lost 2.5 pounds. I was shocked! I've never done that before in my life! Now, its nearly 5 months later and I am only 2 pounds away from my goal. I was stuck at a plateau for nearly a month and they had suggestions and recommendations for me on how to break the plateau. That was November and now I'm nearly at the end of my journey. I can't say enough about Doctor and the staff. And I'm looking forward to shifting to "maintenance" managemnt shortly. I have lost 35 pounds and feel great! They offer different services so I decided to schedule an appointment for a Dermaplane which I've never done before. It was done yesterday by Cory.
