Thought they were great switching my brother's phone to Verizon and setting it up for easy calling in Mexico and Canada. Asked tons of questions, was assured everything was great. Hit the airport and the problems began. We live in Mexico, right now. We have not been able to have any data roaming, cell service, etc. After two FULL DAYS with customer service troubleshooting, demanding a supervisor, everything...THEY OFFERED NO RESOLUTION AND NEVER FIXED THE PROBLEM. There are no Verizon stores here, so he now must fly back to the US just to fix his frickin' phone because they messed it up at the store (3 different technicians acknowledged the problem was created at the store). So, apparently, their staff is not as competent as one would need, and Customer Service is clearly useless! I've been with Verizon for years, but next trip to US, that will change. Not to be confused with Furizon, which is where my cats go when they want new cellphones. Yes they have cellphones. Get over it. One thing that really bothers me about these places is what one of the other reviewers said, which is the one where he is giving them a 5-star, kind of bizarre when you read it. So anyway, it says that when you buy one of their extraordinarily overpriced little accessories, then if you return them there's a $35 fee. That's absolutely messed up. A lot of these accessories cost less than that in the first place, especially on sale or as part of an upgrade package or incentive or whatever, and the only type of business that charges fees like that for returning defective or falsely-advertised or hard-sold or unneccessary merch, is one made up of absolute sharks who are ripping you off and robbing you blind and can get away with anything they want. All this because there aren't really any laws to protect you from corporate fraud like this. Not anymore. Not now that the ultimate corporate fraudsters of the billionaire kind are the ones running the whole show, openly at that. Verizon should be ashamed of themselves, and for what they are charging me, making a killing, I just can't with them anymore. And when I came in here to get accessories I had the same problem as the other reviewer, being told that if I returned anything there'd be restocking fees. Obvi I didn't buy a thing. Now I do have to give them credit for actually telling me about it, because in the past some Verizon stores have tried to act like it didn't exist when it later turned out that it did. I came back to return the car mount. Turns out the magnet that you need for the car mount interferes with the charging capability for the wireless charging pad. Naomi wasn't there when I went back, but the man that helped me was really nice. Unfortunately there's a $35 repackaging fee for opened products. I only paid $25ish for the car mount because of a discount. Obviously, the repackaging fee was more than I paid to start, but the employees found a way to basically let me exchange it for another product. I ended up buying another pop socket (which worked out because I gave the first one I bought to my stepdad). I was so happy I didn't get stuck with the car mount of have to pay more out of pocket to return it. He didn't have to do that for me, but he did, so I'm grateful. Because of that, they get to keep their five star rating. Sidebar: this location is considered a "cellular sales" store, not a full Verizon Wireless. It was a little confusing when I was looking it up online. But they are an authorized Verizon dealer. read more

Great experience upgrading my phone. The associate was very helpful and friendly. He took care of everything I needed to get my phone set up. Such a positive experience. I brought my husband back the next the next day to upgrade his phone. It was a little busier and we had to wait but not long. We had a different associate but the same positive experience. read more

Through an unfortunate set of circumstances my wife and I both lost our phones. Prior to this I was preparing to change cell phone services because of some really bad Verizon customer (non)service experiences. It was important that I get a phone ASAP so we reluctantly walked into this store with the lowest of expectations. All I needed was an inexpensive phone that can get me by until our phones are returned. Shawn Alexander welcomed us at the door and worked through several options including trying to activate a couple of older iPhones I had. We finally decided to take a new Motorola phone. This was probably the longest amount of time Shawn had ever spent on such a small sale but he was happy, kind and helpful the entire time. This place was horrible. They sold a contract to my husband but could not explain any of the fees or charges. They added a product onto our bill that we are still working with Verizon to remove. The manager refused to undo our contract and take back the phones, even though the contract has a 14 day grace period for exchanges. We called cellular sales and they informed us we could go to another store and do the return. We went to the store on broadway on Pearland and it was a different world. They were incredible nice and did the return no problem. I will never purchase from cellular sales or Verizon after this horrible experience. If you are a Verizon customer I highly recommend you go to the location on broadway for much better service. read more
