I took my iPad Pro to this place to a broken screen. After talking to the store technician he told me they could replace the screen with a certified Apple replacement screen. I was told before I agreed to have the proceed with the that the screen would be Apple, have a warranty and be ready the next day. It turns out that it took them longer to repair and was replaced with some cheap Chinese knockoff screen. After I receive my iPad back from them supposedly repaired they game me my iPad back in the box that the cheap Chinese part came in. After taking may iPad back home I was able to use it for three days until the screen went black and quit. I had to go back to the store because they would not answer my call. They looked at my iPad and accused me of breaking it tell me it was my fault there product failed and that I would have to buy another screen, After spending over an hour trying to get them to understand the issue and replace the screen with a genuine Apple part I am waiting for a resolution and have opened up a dispute with my ban, i was also able to contact my bank who was able to recotd the conversation. Bottom line I was overcharged for a cheap Chinese part with no warranty and no help costing me $1050 dollar. read more

Last Saturday I had my iPad Air repaired at The Phone Geeks, the service was great and after checking the price wasn't bad at $151. And some change. Last night I put my iPad on top of the washer and when I went back to check on my clothes I found my iPad on the floor, broke again. I got on yelp because now I wanted to find the cheapest and closest place to me. The first place that came up was Cellaris in Walmart. I had to pick up a few items so it couldn't hurt to check the pricing there. On the website it states they give you a free charger or screen protector w/repair and if you get the protection plan they give you a free case and fix the screen anytime you break it no matter how often. That sounded like a good deal considering it has only been 1 week sine the last breakage. They quoted me $189.00 for the repair and protection, I was sold. I really wasn't thinking about adding tax to that so it came up to $210 and change. They told me they were going to give me the screen protector since I had only repaired it last week and the case would be $49.00, I thought I remembered it was free w/protection but I wasn't looking at the website and I would not argue about it, I had to decline because, I did just spend $151. last week, they then offered it for $15. I still couldn't afford it, so they gave it to me. When I got home I checked the webpage again, and I had read it correctly, a free protector w/repair, (I didn't have the coupon printed) and a free case w/protection plan. Either way in the end $210. for a guarantee to fix a broken screen forever, screen protector and case was a better deal then last week! Go Cellairis! Joe at Cellairis did it again! For well over a month my iPad either wouldn't charge or hold a charge. After a lot of Google research on iPads/battery I concluded the only fix was to wait for hours at the Apple Store the have them tell me they don't replace batteries and I would need to send it along with over $100.00 in order for o get a refurbished one hopefully in a week or so. Then I thought I'll go by Cellairs and see if there's a faster way and was surprised when he said they could replace the battery for around $40.00, he would have to order it and it would take him awhile. I was thinking a week but he said nope, battery the next day and an hour to put it in. That was like no time at all to me! I felt like I won the lottery. I wasn't able to make it on Friday but went in Saturday dropped it off, got my grocery shopping done and went home with my iPad at 79 percent. Thank you Joe! read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Sunday, I dropped my phone while getting off work, so I was calling around trying to find a place that could fix it being 5:00pm. Found this place and called up. I told the gentleman that answered the phone, how I just cracked my screen & LCD and he said he could fix it for 70$ and they had a special going on which ended that Sunday. Well, they closed at 7 and I was just getting off and it was now 5:30, live in Galveston so wouldn't make it. So next day, (Monday) my fiancé drives almost an hour out of his way while I was working; to get fix my phone for me. Meets with Corey at Cellairis, and corey proceeds to Tell him how even though the discount ended yesterday, he will give him it because my fiancé was a military brat like himself. Ok cool...? But they don't have the parts so call tomorrow. First that's annoying because why didn't they tell me that Sunday when I called? So I would've booked my ass over there driving almost an hour just to tell me they don't have it? Even though I called beforehand? Sweet communication. Anyways. Called Tuesday (yesterday) around noon, they still don't have the parts but the owner is bringing them in by that night. Sweet. Go Wednesday, they open at 11. Wait around, no one... wait around some more. No one. By 12 someone finally shows up and has no idea how to fix anything, proceeds to say he was just opening up the shop for the owner but can't help what so ever, Corey apparently quit the night before and the owner wouldn't be in until 4. Poor communication to say the least. What a waste of time. Bad management, owner! Why would you open your shop at 12 anyways if you had no help until 4? Love to be dicked around. this place sucks. I will recommend over and over house of file technology, owners name is mike! Super cool! He unfortunately was out until Thursday, or; Gadgetzfix! This place is a joke and has horrible customer service skills.. I paid 70$ the first time to get my screen fixed then a week late my tempered glass cover cracked and when I took it to the guy to replace it he scammed r me and told me that the screen was broken too and talked me into a protection plan for 185$ then the next week I was suppose to bring the phone in to have them put the right face cover on because at the time all they had was white and my phone originally was black so I call up there and I guess the guy that worked on my phone has screwed over alot of people and the company so they fired him and they new guy said the should have parts in this Friday to call back and check well I did and for a month they never had the part or they forgot about me and just sold the part to someone else so I got sick and tired of this place, I've tried contacting the owner and would just get the run around. So finally my keypad was typing keys on it's on and then it wouldn't type at all so I got fustrated and brought it back to them the dude working said he didn't habe much experience on my phone but he would replace the screen and as he's taking the screws out he mentions that oh that's why it want working because they didn't tighing it up. The walks in another customer and he's highly pissed because sane thing happened to him what happen to me. Well the guy fixing my phone tells the other customer yeah the manager should be here soon and I'll habe her look at y'alls phones and you can talk to her (Linda) she' was very unprofessional and talked to me as if I wasn't important to her. Then she tells me that now since the dude took my phone apart it's not working and she will take it to a place in Houston and have them look at it. She calls me the next day and tells me that the back light went out and that she would have my phone back to me the next day. I call her at 11:30 the following day and she then proceeded to tell me that sorry but your phone is broken and there's nothing they can do fix it. I got very upset bbexuse as I explained to her my phone can on and was working before her company tried to meds with it, well all said and done I'm out of a phone iPhone not a cheap one and no refund on my money. And then when my husband picked up the broken phone linda tells him give her a week and she will replace my phone. Two weeks have gone by and still no response from her or no phone in my hand. I message her on her personal fb because everyone I go to the store they are closed. She tells me today sorry but I can't help me.. don't ever use this company they will screw you for money and then treat you like crap. read more

Horrible service and the technicians (if that is what you want to call them) have no idea what they are doing. Took my phone in for a cracked screen. Replaced screen with a lot of glue hanging out of it and the screen was never seated properly. Said he would try again but had to get the part. Still messed up and had digitizer lines showing through. Do yourself a favor and find a better repair shop. You can also probably do a better job than them by googling a diy video. read more

This is probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The "district/store manager" refused to give me her name so I can't name her but she was horrible to me. The first time I took my iPad in they were closed in the middle of a weekday, the next day gave me an excuse saying they didn't have any employees to work there. She said we were lucky she was open that day because she lives over an hour away. They promised my iPad would be ready the next day by noon. We showed up to pick it up and they were closed. We went back later that day and she was just opening the store at 4 pm. She got mad because I was upset that it wasn't done yet, again said this wasn't her job and we were lucky she was even there because again she lived over an hour away. The next time which was a few weeks later, my husband dropped it off on a Friday and we were told it would be done the next day, called the next day and told it would t be done until Wednesday. Called Wednesday and was told it was done. Went up there, she walked out and I kinda rolled my eyes because it actually wasn't done, she was like whatever I'm not even talking to you. She came back and said she wasn't even trying to talk to me because of my attitude problem. I said I don't have an attitude problem I am just irratated because I was told it was ready. She again told me she loved over an hour away. I said I'm not sure how that is my problem and this is her job and I have paid for a service. She said my lifetime protection program that I purchased was being cancelled because of my attitude problem. I tried to explain that my child has autism and he is very attatched to his iPad and when they promise it at a certain time we expect it to be done at that time. She said your problem with your kids is not my concern, another employee chimed in with yeah we all have problems. She refused to give me a cooperate number to contact or her boss. Should have known better than to buy anything at a Kiosk in the mall. They did repair install on my ipad and sold me a case for it. Was very happy until I got home and just couldn't get the screen clean. I went to best buy to get some glass cleaner, turns out all the dust is on the bottom side of the glass they didn't clean during the install. Also, they guaranteed my warranty would be good at all locations since I live in Houston, but the work and was getting done in San Antonio.....LIE. They are each independent dealers that buy these kiosks and they don't support each other, neither does the parent website. Total sham. The case broke and started to stretch and deteriorate after 2 weeks, no return. The guy actually said, "sir this is used!" Of course it's used, that's why i want my money back, it's used for a month and looks like this! You get what you pay for! They will lie to you to sell you anything at this kiosk. read more

I came to Friendswood on a family trip and cracked my iPhone 6 screen while I was there. I came to this Cellairis and got it fixed and they asked me if I wanted warranty. I told them I was from LA and not Friendswood and they said that was okay and that I could go to any Cellairis store (even in LA) and they would fix it. So I paid an additional $110 for warranty. A few months later I cracked my screen and took it to two Cellairis stores in LA and they both denied it saying that the warranty only applies to the Cellairis store I bought it at. I won't be back in Houston for a long time but the people that worked there robbed me and I can't do anything about it now except warn people not to go there.
