Buyer beware - read the other reviews also: Edit - Changing to 1 star for the 2nd time I've had trouble with TCC Corvallis. About 2 years ago I was sold a defective $900 phone with a Bluetooth problem where it wouldn't stay connected in my car. They used up their "14 day return policy" with various attempts at fixing it. I spent at least 10 hours on the phone with Verizon techs. Went back to the store probably 15 times. Finally I DEMANDED a new phone and said I wasn't leaving without it - and got one - which worked fine (Galaxy S9+) This year I added 2 lines, got 2 new phones, and at their direction and quotes, switched my plan with a promise of lower fees. My bill jumped from $310 to $498! Another ~10 hours on the phone with Verizon, to find out what TCC had promised me was complete baloney. Another ~10 visits to the store to be met with blank stares and promises to "contact the billing department" - which they apparently never did. Promised me calls back each time, which they also never did, on at least 4 or 5 of those occasions. When I returned to see what happened, "I contacted them and they didn't get back to me". Baloney, utter bollocks . I'm reasonably sure as soon as I walked out the door each time, they simply moved on to the next customer. I ended up "fixing" the billing issues myself, but not at the rate they had promised me if I renewed with them (about $40 more per month than they had promised/quoted me. I don't like writing bad reviews, but I can't deal with this place ever again. Tried to support a local business, they failed utterly on me twice. Nice counter personalities can't substitute for good service and delivering what they promised. This has been a horrible experience now - twice. Fool me twice my fault I guess. Why I went back this year I don't know, and from now on I will deal with the actual Verizon company store - since I had to fix the issues they caused me with Verizon myself anyway. They did virtually nothing to help after the sale was complete except lip service each time I returned to ask for help. I walked in to Verizon on Harrison, AT&T, and Xfinity mobile to discuss plans/phones and become a new customer. Worst service was from Tamra at Verizon. The level of service from Verizon was sub-par - unprofessional and lazy. I wouldn't do business with Verizon even if they were cheaper based on the employees they hire locally. read more

I am stuck with my bad choice of cell service, so buyer beware. Worse yet, customer service is reduced to a person who doesn't know the business and instead relies on being robotic and repetitive and unable to elaborate or clarify the policies and expectations of each plan. Very very poor service. Months ago when I bought this second phone the rep was setting up my phone and my order was interrupted several times - customers behind me were served instead of waiting in line until my turn was over. It was confusing being interrupted every 5 minutes but that is how they seemed to manage the place. Today I went in for the rebate offer due date and was told the person being helped was getting a new phone set-up and it would be 45 minutes...then two other people IN LINE ahead of me...that means - yea, busy until closing hour while my groceries wilt in the car. I said, could I simply pay off my phone so I can retrieve the 50 rebate offer I am due? "No guarantee" they'd get to that before closing hours due to three customers in line. So I asked if the OTHER Verizon store in town could assist me faster - "Nope, we're it" and asked if I could do this online, "Nope." The store cannot keep up with their own deals and policies. We were helped by the Verizon store on 3rd and Harrison in Corvallis, OR. We needed help setting up our phones for varying issues. We set up 3 different appointments so we had a specific time slot guaranteed with a rep, and we were given that time without interruptions. There were always two people on staff, and the reps were consistently patient, courteous, and very knowledgeable about our cell phones. Possibly past patrons had a different experience as I understand the store made changes to staffing, etc. Our recent experiences were exceptionally great. read more

I'm surprised this place is still in business. Whoever the guy is running the counter obviously doesn't care about what he does and couldn't give a damn about the customers. I came in to activate a new phone and there was another couple already there talking to the 1 employee in the store. No biggie. I had a seat and waited my turn. He would look at me periodically very annoyed but never acknowledged me and wasn't even being helpful or polite to the couple he was helping! I waited over AN HOUR. AN HOUR. At this point I wanted to die but obviously I still needed my phone activated so I just had to deal. That couple finally leaves after spending literally zero dollars & I walk up to him happy to finally get help. He barely looks up and tells me he needs to close in 5 minutes so he doesn't have time for me. I told him obviously i got there way before closing & I've been waiting here a long time & all I need is help activating my phone. I already have a Verizon contract & they told me to come here. (I was switching from Apple to Android) He then sighed, rolled his eyes and told me it'll be $45 then for wasting his time. So, I went to a different Verizon carrier shop, and they were awesome. This place on the other hand should just be burned down to let that dude out of his misery. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. read more

This store is not the same friendly knowledgeable Verizon store as it was before. The 1 representative basically ignored me sitting at the front counter for 15 - 20 minutes before I walked out. He didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. This used to be the best Verizon store around. Now it's the opposite. None of the photos on this page are from this store. read more

I have bought 5 phones from this business but this is the first time in about 3 years. I bought a Samsung Galaxy S7. I asked for a tempered glass guard. The really nice agent told me to wait a week when the glass guards that cover the entire screen came in. I waited and called. A different agent said they were available. I came in. I bought the guard and this agent put it on the phone. As I walked out, I noticed it did not cover the entire screen. I walked back in. The agent admitted his mistake and that he did not put the new guard that just came in on my phone.I asked him to replace the guard. He said he could do so but would have to charge me for the new guard--but at a discount. Are you kidding? I made a little noise--nothing too bad but I was upset. My receipt says, and I quote" Refund Policy: Gadget Guard Samsung Galaxy S7 Black Ice Edition Tempered Glass Screen Guard can be returned within 14 days". That's the one he put on. I returned it within 4 minutes. The store manager kicked me out of the store! I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT NO ONE PURCHASE ANY ITEM FROM THIS STORE. read more
