I just purchased a new phone here and the folks in the store are super nice and helpful, especially Mr. Ibarra, who advised me of a price reduction for the phone I wanted. He transferred all the info from the old phone to the new. He put on a new screen saver, which I really appreciated, because whenever I do it I always end up with dust or cat hair on it. He checked out all the functions and showed me how the new phone worked. I am very pleased with my transaction and with the customer service in the store. In addition, the store has marked social distancing via chair placement, everyone was wearing masks, and there pump bottles of hand sanitizer everywhere you looked. I highly recommend! read more

Zero stars ! These people are scammers. The girls seemed nice enough but that's where it ends. I traded in 6 iPhones and apparently they decided to send Verizon 5 of them so I didn't receive credit for the sixth phone. I contacted Verizon and they said that this is not uncommon with this store and to contact them directly. I have placed 5 calls to these thieves and each time they say the manager will contact me . Not 1 call returned. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE, go directly to a true Verizon store. Hopefully you take my advice and save yourself from being ripped off. read more

An update my previous review of this scam of a business. They told me they couldnt do anything when my 2 week old phone would not charge with the 2nd charger they sold me for about 30 each. . Told me I damaged the phone which was crap. I took it to a legitimate Verizon store where they told me they sold me the wrong charger and the phone was fine The people that run this store are thieves. Take the extra time to drive to 79th and Cicero. Phone is fine now contrary to what these arrogant liars said. I'm out 60 dollars for 2 chargers that weren't meant to work with this phone. Btw, I emailed the parent Corp., Moorhead and received no response. Do not deal with these people Update: I received a call from Moorhead communications the parent company. He said he would check it out. 10 minutes after I hung up with him I received a phone call identified only as Verizon. The ppl in oak lawn was a joke... needed help understanding my new phone. Instead of taking a few minutes to walk me thru it. They told me to call tech support. Saying we can't do anything for me....... What a huge joke. Makes me feel like they have no clue about their own devices as well... Stay away from location.... read more

This is the worst possible place to ever get a new phone! I was shopping to pre order a Galaxy note 4 and had to wait over 2 hours to get any assistance! There were 2 people in the store and 1 free worker. That worker was unable to assist me because a worker by the name of Chris had to help us or "it would screw up his pay check". It is this display of utter selfishness that has caused me to write this review! This store is a stain on the earth and should never be shipped at, period! I gave this place five stars because I believe in customer satisfaction. I recently came in with my mom because she has phone service with Verizon. Chris went above and beyond to make sure all her needs were met before we left the store. We even signed up for cable services with Comcast while we were there. Chris was very thorough with product knowledge and services. Being skeptical about third party sales; I was happy that the sales rep Chris followed through and was not a scam. I'm very sorry that the other customers didn't have the same experience as me and my mom. read more

You are better off at Best Buy or a corporate location. Customer service varies depending on the person that you get, but overall you can find better, much better. I left this location after they told me the only form of payment I could use was a credit card. In my experience, I have never heard of a business that does not accept U.S. Dollars in America. This led me to believe that shady business practice was probable. I purchased at Bust Buy within an hour of leaving the location. This location is not a corporate location, only an "authorized retailer", (a middle man) in the transaction. **As you can see below their representative has responded: (I can assure you we are a "verified corporate affiliate" of Verizon.) As I correctly stated above, that is NOT a "corporate" location. It is only a third party "affiliate" that Verizon has authorized. This is the same shady business practice that they use to conduct business. There was/is no reason for me to contact another representative with regard to this issue. Scott Morehead (CEO of TCC) was contacted directly while I was at this location. Again I was pressured to use a credit card, while he refused to accept cash for the transaction. The top guy was already contacted and stated that a credit card was the only form of payment I could use. read more

If I could have chosen zero stars I would have. Do not do business with this store. Upgraded our phones there earlier this year. They made an error in the paperwork that resulted in a credit being due to us. Verizon denied the credit saying it was the stores fault and rep at store told me a check would be issued. Several visits to the store, talked to almost all reps there including the manager and never received credit. They won't return phone calls or call you when they say they will. Store Manager was no help at all. Contacted both the Better Business Bureau and Illinois Attorney General regarding this location. Both agencies reached out to them and received no response either. I'm sure there are other cell phone stores that would be happy to get your business but don't choose this one! read more
