I've been a customer for over 15 years in the Cedar Creek, Bastrop County area where Verizon had been one of the only cell and Internet distributors. But in recent months/years it seems Verizon has fallen by the wayside, not only do I not have signal within my own house, which I used to. But my sister who has A T & T has better signal than I do. I come with a half feral toddler and they let him run around and cause chaos while I was there and were HAPPY to accommodate us. Going places with a baby is daunting. But this was truly enjoyable. Jeff was a great salesman, but I feel like we were misled on the price of what our monthly service bill would be. My only other complaint is this and it has nothing to do with this particular store or employees, but @Verizon you need to get your s*** together. Service anywhere is absolutely pathetic. No service is what I see on my upper left hand corner of my screen. What if I'm out in the woods 2 miles outside of town and I've broken my leg hiking but I can't make a call for help because I have no service???????? I'd DIE!!!! Then I'm sitting in a restaurant and I can't get a single bar of service. So I go outside and it still doesn't have service. On my way home still no service and then finally when I got about two minutes from home, I got service. And on this brand new phone, my phone shuts off randomly and also won't load anything. Keeps my phone usage down, for sure. But what's the use of trying to use the phone if the service doesn't work either. read more

Customer service was horrible, charged me for a screen protection and a phone case but they decided to place on my phone but didn't tell they were going to charge me until the end. At this point is the worst decision I have ever made. I moved to Bastrop and I wanted a better service, I turned in my 3-4 month brand new iPhones with their boxed and everything because Verizon had said that they can give me the upgraded one and that they would pay for my phones. I had 5 kids and myself and we all had lines. I was told that my monthly plan would be $360 that it would be a lot better than what I was paying. Turns out that since day one I been paying over $1000 and my lowest bill been over $600 I hate the fact that they disconnect all lines including the main one which is my phone and I have no way of texting, calling, my kids in school or anything. Only thing that works is 911 that's it. In order to reconnect I have to pay all lines and reconnect fee of $20 each line in which is ridiculous, not only they put me in paying my monthly payment for my phones but they charge $84 dollars a month for service in each phone. I tried paying one phone they said I have to pay the $1000 plus money in order to pay one paid in full, that's the only way I can stopped service.. they tell you you are not in a contract... but they charge you for one, and since I have 5 lines all together I have to pay all lines in order to get service or pay full payment.. been struggling for 8 or 9 months already.. some of those phones only owe $300 and 400 for each line and I tried suspending 2 lines just so I can pay $10 for those lines and my bill would go lower, but when I pay my balance of $880 some plus they reconnect all 5 lines again and the 2 suspended lines are back charging me $84 a month for their service. I tried doing it again, it says I'm not eligible since I already suspended them but they are back... I only had the discount for one month. Meaning I only paid $10 for the service because they were suspended. And I paid the balance, the next month would have been lowered , the bill was never lowered at all. And if I wanted to cancel all lines and leave just mine they said I'm not allowed, I have to pay all lines in full before they can disconnect their services. I also said if I can just be in a monthly plan to pay the phones off but I don't want service on my kids lines since they are over charging me and I can communicate by WiFi or but a temporary min phone for emergency. But they say I can't do that, I would have to pay in full all lines at once before anything. I never had the family plan. Verizon has made it impossible for me to have a relief, the charges are ridiculous and the $20 fee for each phone each month it's insane, as I don't make that kind of money to be paying over $1000 a month to Satisfy their plans in stealing money from people by doing this crap and lying that your monthly plan is going to be $360 when reality they are ripping you off, I turned my phones to them when I switched so now I'm being charged for those phones by the other AT&T and now I'm like I'm being harassed by Verizon of permanently loosing any service until I pay, I can't pay right now because the balance is at $1500 and I have a mortgage and car payment and this ridiculous price for phone lines that are not good anyways it's bull shit I was fine with what they got me by lying, never ever get a family plan, if you face struggles in your life, they will stop service on all lines and charge fees for each line and they will charge a high monthly phone plan. If I could give this thieves a zero star I would. read more

This store has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Staff sat in lounge chairs while a rude gentleman tried to assist me and another gentleman. He was rude to that fellow as well. We were both quite senior, so he may have just had a problem with older people. It would be well worth the effort to drive to Austin to a true Verizon store. read more

Interesting Poor employees are unmotivated, unhelpful and seem lost. I was switching phones and had to direct them on how to assist. Begrudgingly is the best discriptor. I feel for them, they should get a job with the VA or US government or execution squad as they appear to could care about being helpful. I've been in there over 5 times with same result. They do however perk up when they speak to each other about lunch. I will now go in just to witness this surreal dark experience, like a Dostoevsky novel. read more

He also let us know what our options were with a clear picture of what our costs would be each way. By the time we walked out we had our updated items and a snapshot of how our new bill will look. My phone got stuck in some electronic loop, wouldn't start up. I took it in, the salesman called warranty for me, phone is being replaced. The reason for the 3 stars instead of a higher rating, is the young men have no customer service training. Spent three hours with Asurion (Verizon Insurance and phone replacement) attempting to backup my iPhone 6S Plus to the iCloud and download onto my new iPhone XS, epic failure. Had to take a break so I walked into Bastrop Verizon and Dawson meet me at the door and replied, "How can I help you!" Sweet Jesus...music to my ears within 10 minutes he answered all my questions in an extremely polite and professional manner. Can't say enough about how this young man restored my opinion of Verizon and gave me a solution. Well Done!!! read more

Service is so so. Staff do not tell you everything. Be sure to research before you go because you will be overcharged for a phone. They say it's for the "convenience of not waiting if you order online. " I was overcharged $60.00, and refused a manager to talk to. read more

I stopped at this store in the middle of a road trip in desperate need of help and could not have been happier with my experience! I had purchased an iPhone in Austin, where I live, only to find out on my way out of town that they had forgotten to configure my phone and I was unable to make calls or text. Or pretty much do anything on it for that matter. I saw the store sign for THIS location off the freeway and stopped in where Zylan helped me out immediately (a feat in itself since I walked in angry). Zylan has to be the most calm, cool, and collected person I've encountered in a while. He was incredibly helpful, made me feel so much better by simply making me feel justified in my frustrations and I walked out within 5 minutes with a working phone and a positive attitude (more than I can say for the Austin store sadly). I work in customer service for a big tech company so I understand how difficult jobs like this can be. Zylan (and this store for that matter) are not responsible for the other store's mistake or my anger, yet he/ they were able to solve my issues with smiles on. So so thankful for your help in a situation that could have been much worse had I had car trouble or been in an accident, etc. and didn't have access to my phone. Thank you! read more

Verizon is a difficult company to work with. They have two divisions that do not talk well to each other, prepaid account and post paid account. They have different programs and offers and reps from each division do not know what the other has. The best way to navigate Verizon is in their stores. Find a good rep like Jeff C. in the Bastrop Texas office to help you through the maze. We needed Jetpacks to have internet in our rural home and he finally helped me get two phones and sufficient bandwidth on the Jetpacks for our internet. It is better than any other service I could find. Works great for streaming, normal internet use, probably a little slow for gaming. The price is good as well. Thanks Jeff! read more

Brandon at this Verizon store lied to me aggressively about both price and whether my download speed on the mobile hotspot would be slowed down after a certain number of gigs (yes; he claimed no). Went in this store to purchase a case for my wife's phone. Tried to pay with cash and they could not accept anything except correct amount because they don't have a cash drawer. I guess you are just SOL if you don't have correct change or a credit card. Sorry way to run a business. read more
