started out with great service. however after requesting…read moremaintenance after another ISP crew servicing our neighbor disconnected/damaged our equipment it took a full 24 hours for anyone to be available to assist. The initial phone call just to find that out took over an hour. What if I had to get to work during the next service windows? I would have needed to go 3 or 4 days before getting it fixed. The more time has gone on the worse their response to damage/loss of service has gotten.

Companies were promising service but then they would tell me the area I wanted service in, because of the trees the signal would not be strong. XL Broadband came to the rescue, the service is fast and the installation didn't take long at all. Most importantly the installer Wyatt was unbelieveably friendly. I felt like the Lord gave him an extra dose of sunshine and smiles. Keep smiling Wyatt it meant so much to me. He handled everything professionally and figured out the relevant plans to be applied in order to win the customer experience. I was on the phone for almost 2 hours though. I called, was told I had to call to set it up (this is not included anywhere in the instructions in the self install kit). They tried setting it up, could not, and tried to charge me $30 to have a tech come out. I called the next day, and was told that, because someone in my apartment previously had used Xfinity, Astound could not connect unless a tech came out. The next availability was over a week away. Lastly, while the phone call support staff is nice, the online chat staff is incredibly rude, repeatedly blaming the customer (me) even though they confirmed I followed the instructions. I am canceling my service immediately and telling everyone I know not to ever use this service.

Email is…read moreparticularly bad - filtering takes place upstream and you will have no notice they are rejecting entirely legitimate messages. They say they don't block the messages. But, when pressed, they admit their spam filter is blocking messages and not providing any notice. We spent a few hours attempting to diagnose not receiving very important messages after Kraus stated they were not blocking messages. Also, they "do not plan any upgrades" to the email system because they are considering cancelling it. I use two Starlink accounts, one for a coach and one for backup at my home where I also have Frontier fiber service. Both Starlink and Frontier are vastly preferable to the Kraus service.

He wouldn't come in until he put those blue shoe covers on, he insisted. Came in and found the modem took a hit during the last storm we had in Hebron. he swapped out the modem checked the connection and all was good then he left, about 2 hours later my dogs were going crazy so I went out to check the property, it was the same tech, I was just about to tell him the connections just went out, he smiled and said he and the tech department were monitoring the connection and seen the connection drop, the service tech went on a mission to figure out the issue. He did all the checks outside and inside the house, everything was as is it should be, so puzzled he was, then said let my check wireing at the cross over pole in front. BOOM that was it, the juntion box was busted open and the wires looked like a mouse was chewing through them. I have to say, "Nitco", "Tech support operator" and The service tech" didnt just call it job done, they monitored the issue until thing were fixed. Thank you once again Team Nitco you noticed an issue before I did and jumpped on it.
