Easily the worst customer service I've ever experienced from an ISP, even worse than Comcast. Phone wait times are regularly over an hour, I've been on hold for as long as 4 hours before giving up. This past week we've had outages on 5 days and each day I've been on hold for an average of 2 hours. When I do get ahold of someone they say "the issue is being worked on" with no details and though they offer to follow-up they never do. The next time I call the new person will have no notes from the previous conversation and force me to go through all the same troubleshooting steps again and waste even more of my time. The service is fine when it's working but when it's not you will get NO help and NO communication for days or weeks until it is fixed, and you certainly won't get any compensation for not getting the service you're paying for! read more

The apartment we just moved in to has 500Mbps Zentro internet included in the utility package and we opted to upgrade to 1Gbps for $9 extra. We still only get about 500mbps on our gaming system which is hard wired, and lower speed through wifi, but it works pretty well for our needs. Customer service has always been accommodating and easy to reach, and our technician Larney who came to check on our speed was excellent and did his best to improve it. read more

I called recently and was helped by the nicest customer service person to schedule a visit for both my internet speed and to get a cable box installed. Vernon from Zentro came today to upgrade my home internet so speed since the building had recently upgraded. Vernon was very courteous , professional and knew what he was doing. An hour later my wifi internet speed went from 90mbps to 450mbps. I can't recommend Zentro purely based on their customer service itself. 10 stars if I could give it. read more

Our building in River North recently brought in Zentro, replacing AT&T to save money. TV and 1 GB Fiber service used to be included in our amenity fee (+ small cost for speed upgrade to 1 GB), now just 1 GB internet is included without the TV service with Zentro. I am less than impressed. I've only seen speeds up to 700-800 mbps during the day and the service always degrades in the evenings when everyone is using streaming services. I have a Firewalla device that constantly monitors my internet connection, and I posted a picture that illustrates the service degradation. If you lookup Zentro's infrastructure and other reviews, you'll find that residents share an internet pipe, and that microwave technology is used to beam internet between buildings in the area. Apparently if a building goes out in the chain, all others go out as well. We're done with the buffering and waiting and will be going back to AT&Ts fiber internet, even at an additional cost to us (The Zentro service costs us $0 extra) And AT&Ts customer service is god awful. Our building has Zento , there has been frequent interruptions, customer service is slow, uninformed, and will make you wait long enough to either hang up or they transfer you to someone new so you have to start over. There are no ticket numbers, no reference numbers given, no names or supervisors offered. On top of the poor service. They force you into paying a monthly fee for a modem, if you buy one, and don't opt into the monthly fee you must suffer the consequences. We've opted to change providers frustrating beyond imagination. read more

If there was a 0-star option, that's exactly what Zentro deserves. My receiver stopped working on Monday, 12/8/25, and I called them multiple times every single day for FIVE days. Every call was nearly an hour, and still no one could activate the receiver. Today I finally got a call back from Ezro, only for him to tell me he couldn't help because he's a Tier 1 technician and only Tier 2 can fix it. After five days of nonstop calls, this is all they can offer? I was completely done at that point. I switched to Spectrum today--called at 12:30 PM, their technician arrived by 2 PM, installed everything, and it worked immediately. Now I'm on the phone with Zentro's accounting department, and after 30 minutes on hold, they still can't issue a refund or cancel my service. Absolutely terrible customer service from beginning to end. Do NOT use this company. read more

Predator service buyer who offers zero service once they buy up whatever internet company you currently use. They dont have level 1 support they instead have a call messaging center that just takes down your info. They blame the company they bought and try to refer you to them when your internet is down weeks after the company has merged. So the phones are a loop; A slash and burn take your money and run turd. Zentro failed to connect my internet for an entire month, despite me contacting them multiple times. I received no service at all during that period. Their customer service was extremely rude and dismissive, and they offered no compensation. After canceling, I requested a refund for the month I never had internet, but they still charged me in full without any explanation and refused to refund me. I never missed a payment and was very patient throughout this process. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I am now following up on this matter legally. From first to worst. After years of stellar service and support, Zentro/Everywhere Wireless has somehow become worse than RCN and Comcast. For over a month, our building has been beleaguered by poor speed and an unstable connection causing VPN and video conference disconnections. Repeated contact to Zentro and all they say is "it's going to be a while." I have called on average every other day for a month to get updates and am promised a call back. I have not received a single response. Wait times to speak to support are also abysmal. Not even Comcast or RCN were this bad. I have to think this is the result of the private equity takeover of Everywhere Wireless and merger into Zentro. Avoid at all costs. read more

Larney came to fix one of our internet jacks today. He was very friendly, kind, and patient. I asked additional questions about how we could improve our home connectivity and Larney was very helpful. He recommended how we could activate an additional internet jack in our home to get a hard-wired internet port downstairs. He was then able to make the modifications we needed. He was patient to test the connections of all our ethernet cables, connection on the laptop, and more. It was so helpful to have every part of the internet connection checked. As someone who works from home, this is a make or break thing for me to have good internet at home. I'm happy we are up to 1,000 Gbps on the connection. We may need to reconfigure or replace our wifi network hardware depending on what we want, but Larney gave some helpful recommendations on routers that would be a good choice. read more

Sadly, Zentro is trying to monopolize the market for condos and apartments in midtown and downtown Detroit. A few months ago I was without service for probably a week. Today, for the second day I'm without service and they said they won't be able to send someone to fix Internet for another week. Why? Because they suddenly have so many repairs. Recently, due to poor internet connection, I checked their website and saw that the 500 Mbps plan is now listed at $9 per month. Unsure of how long the price had been reduced, I requested a refund or credit for the difference. However, they only adjusted my upcoming bill to reflect the lower price and refused to provide any refund or credit for previous overpayments. Never heard of this internet provider, but so far pleasently surprised. Todd and Antwone were beyond professional and quick, took all of 20 minutes in all for install. The fiber is paintable and they made sure to make it as invisible as possible, by following the trim lines. After my internet was cut off, a customer service rep (John) was very helpful in getting it back up and running. After reading my original review, the VP of customer service (Jack) reached out personally to make sure my issues were solved. He also let me know that he personally met with the CSR's involved and shared the feedback with the team which I appreciated.
