I just want to say my experience at Verizon in east gate was amazing. I came in and spoke with Phil about upgrading my grandfathers flip phone to something different. Phil got me to the store manager Neeko Cooper asap. He did this because my grandfather was a customer for so long and he wanted the store manager to thank him and provide him with the best thing we they had to offer. I went in to pay my girlfriends bill and it now the say you have to do it yourself at a damn Kiosk. What ever happened to customer service? Then I tried to ask about internet service they have advertised but ALL the people that were supposed to be working there were too busy playing games, putting pies in each other's faces and litterly chasing each other around the store and wouldn't help me. This store continues to puzzle me. I stopped in one day for screen protectors and got the typical sales shakedown for a new watch, etc. I don't mind hearing about new products or specials but I expect the salesman to be able to know the program without continually checking with the boss. It takes way too long, especially when you're not committed to buying that day. Also, I called to check if an item was in stock and was told they couldn't provide inventory levels over the telephone. Really really did not like this location. It is newer, and closer to home, so I decided to stop in and inquire about a watch upgrade. While the gentleman that worked with me was polite, this felt like the interaction at a bad car dealership. Every question I asked, he had to go in the back and check with his supervisor, whom I never saw. It reminded me of how dealers do this with their sales manager. They were fairly aggressive and I got answers here very different from that of other stores or the 1800 number. Drive the extra distance to the Beechmont location. read more

There seems to be a huge disconnect between Verizon customer service on the phone v. corporate stores. Normally, I love Verizon, excellent customer service, very responsive when I call. We are long time good customers but the clerks at this store in Eastgate were dreadful! Insisted on charging a restocking fee on unopened phone we'd received that day in mail. We brought phone to exchange for a more expensive product as instructed by Verizon telephone customer service. Store clerks treated us like criminals even after I got Verizon rep on phone and had her speak to manager. "Nope, that's our policy," he told her. Verizon phone rep credited our account for the restock fee and was super apologetic about rude treatment at the store. The store was nearly empty of customers just a bunch of surly clerks standing around; now I see why. Get everyone on the same page, Verizon! read more

I went to the Verizon store in the middle of Eastgate mall. The corporate location, near Bath and Body Works, is the one you want to go to. Did you know there are authorized locations and corporate locations? Well, now you do. Make sure you don't visit the authorized ones! Chad was so helpful. I was holding onto my Unlimited Data plan and it had been a long time since I had upgraded. I got a new phone, a case, got my employee discount, everything. They were slammed but doing their very best to help everyone and I didn't feel ignored. I would recommend this one! read more

First let me start off that if I could I would give the Eastgate location negative stars. Today I wore a mask in as required. After dealing with the salesman trying to sell me the entire store like a watch,chargers,airpods,screen protectors and a new phone. When all I went in for was a new phone. Once he told me I would be saving so much money, which would be after the $800 for all he was trying to sell me. I declined all of the other stuff and let him know I just wanted the phone. He was somewhat upset he was only able to sell me a phone and then his manager walks by and tells me to pull my mask up further. I had pulled it down a bit so I could breath easier and talk to the salesman, since he was behind the glass and was not being very friendly. Then the manger says again, to please pull my mask up, I then said I have it on which was required. He then proceeds to tell me to leave the store. I then told him I didn't agree with that decision and he says leave now or I'm calling the cops. So I left, very upset of how I was targeted, when I was technically wearing a mask. This is the most unprofessional location I have ever visited and highly recommend not doing any business here! read more
