Assistant Manager Hugo is horrible at customer service. I've been a Verizon customer for 20+ years. most of the representatives through the years have been helpful and professional. However, I've consistently had a negative experience with an Assistant Manager named "Hugo". Every interaction with him has been difficult. He is rude, condescending and unprofessional. Don't expect any help from the manager "Crystal" as her and Hugo seem to be besties. She may like him but his customer service skills are terrible. when I asked Hugo for his district mangers name, he refused to tell me and stated hes not required to give me his boss's name. if I had done this at my job, I'd be fired immediately. when I got the name from another employee, I was unable to reach them. calling 611 only put me in an endless loop of waiting and transfers. I never did get to speak to someone responsible. I will never allow Hugo to assist me again. I will wait on another representative or go to another corporate store. One star only because the door could open and close. Spent about 30mins talking about which phone we were gonna get, and we knew what we wanted, and they ended up saying their systems were down. After a quick conversation he assured that the systems were down "nation wide". Well we went to the other Verizon store down the road and had new phones in less than an hour of walking in the door, no questions asked. The first store had no answer as to when we "should" come back, no idea if they would be contacting us, and no amount of wanting to help us. read more

I have never been so disappointed in Verizon as I was tonight. I cracked my screen at around 4:30 this afternoon and spent several hours on the phone with Verizon and Asurion to get it replaced because I need my phone. We have a corporate account and I need my phone because I am traveling early in the morning. Explaining to Verizon I can not wait on Asurion's replacement shipment because I have to leave early in the morning to go out of town. So when I went into Verizon I told them I outright wanted to purchase a Note 10 + 5G. They told me I could not do that I had to put it on payment plan. I told them I did not want to do that and I needed to pay the whole thing up front. After several minutes of going back and forth they finally was going to "over ride" where I could pay with my Credit Card. Then when I went to pay they told me I could not use a credit card that it had to be cash..... CASH!? I had it on me but only because I had a business trip to take early in the morning. So I had to pay every bit of cash I had on me to get a phone that I could have a receipt with! I wanted to send the receipt to Asurion for reimbursement.... I even bought a new case. The guy asks me if I wanted to swap phones there because it would take a couple of hours...? Um yeah I want to swap to the new one because mine is not working and once again.... I NEED A PHONE. Puts the sim card in and explains I can swap pics and contacts over at home on my Wifi... Then hands me a naked phone. Didn't even put the case on. So I went to put the case on in front of him and he decides to jump in and help. Also asked to purchase a tempered glass cover. He informed me that the only person in the store that is able to install the tempered glass is not in store and so he could not help me with a tempered glass. Worst experience ever. I will not be back in that store. Bless the CS Rep I talked to on the phone that helped me and got me to feel a little better about the fact that I pay good money to Verizon for shit service. Hope you don't drop your phone on a Friday at the end of the day. You may be screwed unless you have $1377 just laying around to spare... read more

Came in to ask for help doing a transfer, look at a phone, and ask about my policy. The guy took us to a table and left us there for over 15 minutes without even acknowledging us again. Horrible service!!! read more
