    HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! They billed me a full amount after I had already moved out of my home. I…read morenever received the box to return my modem. I called their billing department and it was someone in another country who was no help and who wanted to be no help. I tried to call about the modem and it just keeps you on the phone for hours saying "the estimated wait time is less than 10 minutes." DO NOT USE THEM!!! You will never be able to speak to a real person or anyone who actually cares and wants to help with your account. They will keep billing you after you cancelled service and will not give you any way to speak to someone who will help you! Horrible value and horrible service! There is NO SERVICE!

The technician first stated that our equipment was outdated and he updated. He then advised There is a problem with the tower by the street that we share with a neighbor. He came back with a part but could not resolve. He advised someone would be out this morning by 9 am. Someone called at 5:30 to advise they could not make it today. This is not our first go round of long waiting for repairs and broken promises. Not sure how this company survived except there are few providers in this area. We do expect a credit for the days of lost service. Their prices have doubled in about 2 years.

Consumerist magazine (not-for-profit subsidiary of Consumer Reports) calls Charter the "worst company in America." It's no wonder Charter went bankrupt a few years ago. This sleazy firm's business practices include: - cutting your satellite cable, then insisting that customer fight with Charter's 3rd party unlicensed contractor instead of honestly owning up to their mistake and correcting it. - moving your first bill due date ahead after first bill, without prior notification (told this is a "standard" Charter procedure on 2nd bill) - insisting that customers wait 45 days (unbelievable but true) for Charter's Autopay system to take effect, then warning that double payments may occur when customer attempts to make a one-time payment prior to the interim due date (as a safety measure) - moving from CSR agents in South Carolina to the Phillipines, where they lie to customers by claiming healthy account status with zero problems and confirming Autopay sign up weeks ago, then cutting off all services including (Emergency 911) shortly thereafter, without prior notice - migrating from helpful humans to speak with or chat online (about no-service issues) to worthless automated systems - poor no-service reliability I really wanted to love Charter. Our credit history is well above 700 and we always pay bills on time. But after several serious attempts to cooperate with Charter, acting as a good customer to straighten out their billing errors, all of our attempts have been futile. I recommend that prospective customers view the 800+ complaints about Charter on another website, plus other sites, before wasting your time. If you like unethical business practices, you'll love Charter!

Their customer service is horrible, their internet goes out all the time and after you wait on hold they always try to blame it on your router because they never can find any problems on their end. Then it miraculously gets better. Oh if I just had any other option.

I have Direct TV for television at my home. It is over priced. I would not mind paying the price if it were more reliable. If there is the least amount of rain or if it is even cloudy; this service will not work. I have internet at home by ViaSat (formerly Exceed). WORST Internet service providee EVER. I have their latest Generation 5 service. It is slower than dial-up!! Sent an email last evening. This morning it is still sitting in my outbox waiting to go out. I work remote. I had to lease office space where I can get hardwired Internet to be able to work. VIaSat will not work if you have to VPN in to your office. ViSat is a last resort for Internet service. I'm honestly on the fence as to whether it is even worth having. I am considering paying their $400 early termination fee and be done with them. Their service is also grossly expensive for the terrible service received. Just like the television even on a cloudy day the service will not work. And I also want to add that a tree fell and wiped out my ViaSat equipment. I was charged $475 to replace it. Again, wouldn't have a problem paying that if this internet service was reliable.

    When the service was up abd connected it was very good however it would drop off line frequently…read moreand stay off for long periods. Occasionally a reset would get it back for short periods. It would go out almost every weekend which was when all the good things were on. Kenneth worked at trying to make it reliable but I finally through in the towel. The upfront fee for the modem, $300 bucks was not refundable even though the service was never reliable. Be careful before buying into the service.

They were recommended to me because they were the only "decent" internet service around where I live. The person who recommended them to me is now also upset with them and the way they run business and stated they will never recommend them again. It took weeks to get them to set up service after multiple attempts to contact them. Even though that bothered me, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and still bought into their plan. I have now been charged over $700 within three months for my service to only work for about 3 weeks. I understand that some things are out of their control, but they do not care about their customers or trying to help. They want to take your money and disappear. I have never been so unhappy with any company until dealing with Debbie's Little Dishes.
