They ordered the parts and had my dual subwoofer back up and running. However, I live 5 hours away and they said I had 30 days to pick up since the item was still under warranty. That worked out perfectly for me because I was going through Atlanta to fly out of country and upon returning was able to grab my sub and bring it back home. I was so excited to hear my sub bang out the bottom end that I knew it was capable of. I would definitely recommend them for any hifi/ professional equipment repairs

So, I called two days ago and spoke to Kurt about the speakers and inquired about them accepting trade-in speakers. I figured they wouldn't because I purchased them a while ago from a different dealer, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Kurt informed me he'd need to ask the owner and call me back. As I stated that was two days ago, and I never got a call back. I just called again and Kurt informed me that he "handed it off" to the owner and he was supposed to call me, which never happened. I guess the $7,500 (before tax) I was going to spend to simply pick up a pair of speakers means I am not worth the time it takes to make a simple phone call. Luckily Crutchfield carries the same speakers for the same price and they are quite interested in my money. I wanted to support a local brick and mortar store instead of an online behemoth, but unfortunately I cannot think of a reason to support such poor customer service.

Thankfully, this target was only about a mile away from where I was so I was able to make a quick trip. I got there around 4pm on a Wednesday and there was plenty of parking. It wasn't too busy and for the most part things were organized and in the right place. I found the shoe section in a jiffy and lo and behold they had a pair of flats that happened to be the same exact color of the shirt I was wearing... and they were on sale for $6. You know, sometimes the stars truly do align, haha. The self check out line wasn't crazy and I was back on the road in no time. As a new employee you can tell he is still in training but it is obvious they have hired a great employee in him. I knew the battery would cost me $49.99 but was surprised to hear that they charge $19.99 on top of that for labor. I got a written estimate and left knowing they would call me when it was ready. I received a call within about two hours telling me my phone was ready. When I walked back in Tyler was the only one in the front working. When he went to ring up my charge it was almost $82 instead of the $73 I had been quoted. Tyler apologized profusely and said he had not added in the $6.99 parts processing fee. As a new employee he is still learning but this really annoyed me since I was already irritated that there was an additional labor fee that I wouldn't be paying at the Apple store. Since he was new and felt really bad I just paid my bill and left. I received a survey from them a few days later and expressed why I wasn't a happy customer. I received a call from the manager, Ryan, wanting to follow up on my survey. I returned the call a few days later when I got back to town from a trip. I was told I would get a call back from Ryan that night. I never heard from him. A few days later I called again and was pretty annoyed. Ryan was very apologetic and wanted to make things right. This is why they ended up with five stars from me. I felt like Ryan really listened to what I had to say and accepted responsibility for their error. He wanted me to be a happy customer and wanted to step up and fix where they dropped the ball. As a customer, I know places are going to mess up. What is important to me is how they handle their mistakes and I feel Ryan and Simply Mac did a great job with that. I would go back.
