Dishonest, lying salesman, Davi De Castro, has cost our family hundreds of dollars. He lied about the plan and lied about a new free phone. Then added unasked-for charges to our account. As a loyal customer for nearly 30 years, I am disgusted with the lack of response to a fraudulent transaction in Deerfield Beach, Florida from Verizon. On one call, I was told that sleazy sales people are a recurring Verizon problem--but nothing is being done to solve the issue--leaving customers in the lurch. Make sure to ask to see an itemized copy of a bill Before agreeing to a price or ANY services. I walked in there this past weekend needing to upgrade a phone on my line. I was told what the cost would be for that upgrade, awesome, cool. I accepted. What was not disclosed is the fact the cost would've been very different (and much lower) had they not 'quoted' me on upgrades, phone case, and screen protector and device set up charge. They sold it as it was included in the charge: of course I realized it way too late after I payed and got my bill and all the charges were itemized individually. When I asked about it I was received with a slick, it was in the price I gave you, answer. Which yes, it's true but the price was the deception and I got played. Don't let it happen to you. Cause I call BULL on their sales man tactics. I was told the device set up and transfer was part of it, I got iPhone, I didn't need it. He said it was included, so I got bamboozled out of $55 dollars. How can people sleep at night knowing they are robbing people, to make an extra buck them selves. They clearly don't need customers after the way they treated us. No one said anything to us when we walked in--we had to seek the rep out. He was busy on his computer doing something that I guess was more important than us for a long time. When I asked him if we should come back, he told us no, just wait, and wait we did, for a considerable time longer. Our concern was with an app, for which he said he'd charge us for doing practically nothing. Granted, the app wasn't a Verizon product, but shouldn't he have still taken us seriously, rather than continuing to multitask while dealing with us? They are not Verizon. a family member passed and we had to cancel a line, they charged us to do so ( not supposed to do that for a deceased family members line) and then Verizon cancelled all 10 lines on our account because this store didn't send in the phone and we had to pay again to reconnect. It has been a nightmare getting money back from Verizon because this is NOT a Verizon main store. They took the phone we handed in and never sent it in causing Verizon to say we owed even more money! My daughter broke her phone on vacation; I was so worried I was gonna spend all day on my vacation at Verizon, and to my surprise, I met Joseph, he made my life and the experience of getting a new phone and transferring everything to the phone seamlessly! He was so patient and kind; his mom and dad did a great job because he was so polite and kind and loved to hear about his family! ha, I was out of there in no time, and he updated me all along the way. I'm not tech-savvy whatsoever, and he helped me with my phone as well. When I gave the phone to my daughter, she had an issue, and I had her call Joseph, and he walked her through every step; it was a user error, of course! My I phone was destroyed by water. I had never logged into the cloud, but my stuff was there. Zac was amazing. He retrieved all of my data, pictures, etc. He was patient and really took his time with us. He then synced our phones (my wife and I) to my new car. Proud owner of a new 13. Beware! I went in to have my SIM card replaced and that's all. I got a strange email an hour later saying "here's your receipt", after checking my bill the salesmen I saw added the "Verizon protection plan" onto my phone line without asking me. I was in the store a total of 10 min. I got my SIM card and left. Never did we speak about any kind of protection plan. I called customer service and they confirmed that the salesman added it after I left. Stay away!!! I'm lucky that caught it on my bill otherwise I would be stuck paying every month when I already pay for apple care which is a way better service. I might cancel Verizon all together after this. We came to this Verizon because of its convenient location. We were in the market for new phones and a tablet. Luckily we beat the rush coming in at 11:45 on a Sunday and were helped right away. Travis was a fantastic sales representative. He was very patient and so very helpful throughout the entire phone upgrade process. Had the best experience with this Verizon location. Stopped in to get a new iPhone 11Pro after my old one randomly stopped working this week. Worked with Marcus, (I think he was the manager) who got me set up and everything transferred in a matter of minutes. Employee had no name tag and other employees agreed he should have one on but refused to identify him. On top of that the representative claimed there was no manager or supervisor on duty today! I've had the same verizon account for approximately 20 years and because of the lies and all overall incompetentness of this store, their manager and pretty much every one in their staff of buffoons that relationship is quickly coming to an end. They sold me a phone that was a lemon (not their fault) back in September of 2019, but because of their lies and poor efforts to help me I have been in cell phone hell with Verizon and this cruddy location. They sent me to Apple, Apple sent me back to them, they sent me to Verizon, Verizon sent me back to them. It is now July 2020 and my account is still a mess because of their failure to note my account properly when I returned with the defective phone, then lying about the steps they were taking to fix the problem. In all honesty, Verizon hasn't been much of a help either, sending me a replacement that was a different model, then another replacement that couldn't be activated. Failing to credit my account for the returns of the defective phones and now with their modified customer service hours, very little ability to actually find someone who could help me without being shuffled from department to department. I would never go back to this place, I would never trust anything they tell you. I would use dixie cups tied together by strings for communication before I ever go back to this disaster of a store. My sales associate who helped me was named GI. She was helpful and answered all my questions and went through all the paperwork and prices in detail. No Surprise's. I have used this store for about 5 years with 3 different reps. All 3 were top drawer. Extremely knowledgeable and very patient and helpful. I am a senior citizen and don't do that well with technology. These reps take the time and get me squared away. This place is a bunch of cookes, I mean crooks. Was told come on switch to verizion. We did, then told that they would pay 650 per line we brought to them. After the switch I spoke with the agent I felt with and said I had a buddy I who needed a phone in a bad way, could I sell it to a buddy and still be eligible for the line cost to switch he said yes I could still make my money(I literally have this in writing on my phone via text messages). Of course what do you low and be hold I am not eligible for a 650 credit anymore bc I no longer have the phone. The agent also entered my info in the system incorrectly subsequently missed my first bill. Lastly when I spoke to actual Verizon THEY told me not to go to this store, but to go to almost any other verizion store. read more

I was on vacation in Deerfield Beach Fl. when I just happened to stick my IPhone 7 in a glass of ice water between the seats. Don't ask. After going to the Apple Store with no results I visited the Verizon Store above and had the opportunity to speak to Carlos. He not only helped me with advice but also printed out paper work to send my phone back to Assurion. I can't say enough about the time he spent with me as I didn't have a printer with me. All this was done at no charge and with a smile. Very rare these days. If you need a new phone or anything else, I recommend you stop by this location and ask for Carlos. You'll be glad you did. This was one of the worst customer experiences I've had. Never mind that they were doing display construction in the middle of a day, when that should have been done before or after customer hours, but there was zero customer service. The four representatives were with other people however I stood there for over five minutes before someone even remotely acknowledged me. There was no "be with you in a minute" until somebody from a back back made eye contact with me and said that. There are two representatives I was right in front of and they never even acknowledged me with a smile and nod or a word. I stood there for another 10 minutes and I thought I was getting ready to meet with a representative, because his customer had left, he and another rep decided to start chitchatting amongst themselves while I stood there, again not acknowledging me. After 2 terrible experiences with them disabling my Apple ID for days and not even being to call about cases. I still decided to go back and the SCAMMED me twice saying this screen protector can't let me phone crack and if so I get up to $250 for a replacement. First time it broke I never ended up getting me replacement even tho I sent in proper information... Second time I bought another one and they won't help me still or do anything. I called the store yesterday regarding this matter (8/23/18) at about 1:30pm. After trying to call back they wouldn't answer for about 5 calls eventually I got someone on the phone.. They wouldn't tell me who I spoke with or let me speak to a manager but the other gentleman I spoke to said he's going to email me by end of day(WHICH NEVER HAPPENED) and get this matter resolved on them selling me a product that only doesn't work that they told me I get a insurance credit for if the phone breaks which never ends up happening. I was just in to activate a new phone. One employee Austin, whom was NOT the one that helped me was boasting about his time in the service. When I mentioned I was a Marine and that he should be proud of the things he supposedly accomplished in his short time, he began to get defensive. Within about 10 minutes, he was screaming (all after of course) I had spent money in the store- and went completely nuts cursing & all. I transferred my phones to Verizon in good faith. Verizon said they would buy my contract from AT&T & give me a debit card to pay my phones off. 6 months later I still have no debit card. Terrible store. Terrible staff. Waste of time. It's an authorized retailer not an actual Verizon store . I have only had bad experiences with authorized retailers . Recently I paid a bill here and they lost my money . Even after I had a receipt printed which I lost . But I knew the exact time I was in the store . They checked the records and said no cash payments were made that day . No similar phone numbers no nothing . I went in the store 3 more times and eventually they pulled security tapes to see me actually make the transaction. Then they told me the money was posted to wrong account. Wtf ? You told me there was no transactions that day ? Then they called me a liar that I never asked them that. Which I did . And actually it's the only logical course of action to rectify the situation. I have been with Verizon for 13 years and was excited when I moved to this area to see a Verizon store so close to me. When my phone died/stopped charging I headed in expecting the great Verizon customer service I've always known. It took the guy less than 5 minutes (and less than 30 seconds actually looking at my phone) to tell me the only solution is to be a new phone at full price. I instead went to my old store in Pompano and my problem was fixed in less than 5 minutes, no cost to me! No need to buy a new phone! Well, what I did not know was that this is not a corporate store, and the one in Pompano is. After this experience, I don't trust this store in Deerfield. I will always travel the extra 5 miles to the Pompano store, they have ALWAYS provided me with EXCELLENT customer service! Ask for Justin there, he is the BEST!! read more

I walked into the store at 5:58 on a sunday and Saj took care of me immediately..they close at 6.. I work at a busy restaurant and my phone was stolen at the end of my shift and was NO WHERE to be found. I was really worried I didn't want anyone looking at my stuff. Period. One problem after another arose with logging into my account. Saj sat with me and went above and beyond any treatment I've received anywhere in florida. He was kind, sympathetic, knowledgeable and patient. I felt so bad I was there over an hour. Saj was so nice in making sure I got taken care of and didn't have to go home and wonder. He was great.
