I told him I wanted an upgrade and asked if I had any discounts. He disappeared for 10 minutes, came back and told me my only option was to pay full price for the phone over 36 months. I asked him if he was sure about that, I asked specifically if I had any rebates. He said he was sure and I walked out. I went to the store on BBB and Lyons the following morning, they mentioned my rebate right away and set me up with my new phone which was $600 over 36 months. Read the reviews. The Congress Verizon store is awful. I felt like I was being sold a used car. Stay away. This store is a joke. Update after owner response. Don't tell me your store has standards. I was almost blatantly ripped off by your sales person who led me to believe I didn't have a rebate. HE WALKED INTO THE BACK OF THE STORE FOR 10 MINUTES AND LIED TO ME. He gave me a quote with basic information on it. I felt like I was buying a used car. Ive been a customer of Verizon for 25 years. I've upgraded at various Verizon stores and this is the first time I've seen anything like this. Are you serious with your response? You'll look into this? It was clearly taken apart in an attempt to fix it, then labeled "unfixable" or too expensive to do so--but instead of reassembling it properly, they returned it missing screws and without the internal factory cover. This is completely unacceptable. It's not your decision whether something is "worth fixing"--your job is to either repair it or return it exactly as it was given. What I received back was careless, incomplete, and honestly a mess. I ended up ordering the parts myself to try to fix it, and that's when I saw just how poorly it had been handled. This level of negligence is beyond disappointing. I would not trust them with any device.
