IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD! OR MAYBE JUST VIC (VICTOR) THE WORST SALES REP I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! I have been a customer almost 15 years. I went in on March 19, 2017 around 4:20 pm because there was an issue with my data working. Vic suggested I may need a new device. I agreed and asked him if my insurance covered it. He said I didn't have insurance. I was unaware that my insurance was cancelled when my phone was upgraded. So I asked how I could get insurance. He says well you just missed it so you have to wait. I said okay until when? He said... I don't know (rudely). I said well how can I find out. Can I call asurion the insurance company. He said, No they have to be in a promo. I told him that I was unaware the rep did not put insurance on my new device. Victor proceeded to rudely say" well go back to the branch you got it from to see if they can fix it" I told him the branch was an hour away. He said well that's all you can do. I asked him what else I could do. He suggested I call Verizon EVERY DAY to check to see if there was an open enrollment for insurance because he said he will not know when open enrollment is until the day before. How rude and Unempathetic he was was disgusting! Then he tried to turn it into a sale by suggesting I spend $900 on a new iPhone to fix my problem. I decided to just leave the store. He told me that a manager would not be able to help me. So the next day I go online and find out that the insurance is in open enrollment. That it was in open enrollment during my visit. So not only did I receive the WORST customer service from VIC. BUT HE LIED TO ME and told me it was not open enrollment when it was only to pass it off to another location or try to get a new iPhone sale. I called customer service the next day and they were able to enroll me. This was complete nonsense. Is that what Verizon store reps are about? Lying to long time customers only to try to get a quick sale. I hope someone talks to Vic because the way he spoke to me and his attitude and lies were not of someone who should be in customer service. I understand I did not have insurance at the time, but him refusing to service me knowing that there was a solution is beyond me. I will be writing a letter to corporate and I expect a call back. I may consider switching phone carriers as well. This was the worst service I've ever experienced with Verizon! I will never go to this location again and I recommend that no one goes here. read more

Horrible sales ...spoke with customer service on the phone regarding upgrade and new phone with zero outta pocket and this weasel at this location was trying his best to get me to drop over $200 for the same deal... said NO THANKS called customer service back .. (they wanted his Name) but they noted my acct and have me set up to go to another location! read more

I usually hate going into this Verizon. Normally, no one ever knows what's going on, always has to ask the next person, rude, takes forever. I was giving it one more chance today and then RAUL helped me get a new phone. He was quick, knowledgeable and friendly. Helped us save money on our bill too! negative 5 stars!!! We were in town visiting family when we decided to stop by this store to see if they had the 7 edge that my fiance wanted but couldn't find back at home. Low and behold, this store happened to have it so we got it right then and there to replace our recalled note 7. The salesmen, some young dumb kid (not saying that to be mean but the story will explain), told us that we could also get 2 accessories for free because that's the promotion they had going on. He brought a few things over (remember this, HE BROUGHT US THE ITEMS) and my fiance picked the beats headphones and the zagg screen protector. The salesmen proceeded to apply the screen protector and my fiance immediately noticed a bubble underneath and asked the kid to fix it. He said the bubble would go away and if it didn't to come back and he'd replace it. A few days pass, the bubbles bigger now, so we go back to the store where the salesman is nowhere to be found and no one else is willing to help. Their suggestion? Call Verizon and get it replaced through our warranty, while paying shipping and handling. So, at this point, we're already dealing with the note 7 recall and now the screen protector issue that wouldn't have been an issue if the kid would've just fixed it the day he screwed up putting it on. Anyways, we left the store, mad as hell, and called Verizon. They listened to our story and offered to next day ship a brand new Zagg screen protector free of charge without using the warranty of the current one. Problem solved right? God I wish! The screen protector never made it here and when I checked my bill today, I noticed we were charged for both the screen protector AND the beats headphones. I called Verizon right away, thinking the refund for the accessories hadn't processed yet and I was just wanting to verify but guess what? NO REFUND WAS SUPPOSED TO BE GIVEN! Why? Bc the salesmen in the Cali store handed my fiance the wrong headphones so at that point, I was being told we were stuck with the items bc of their 14 day return policy (they didn't even charge the account for the items until after the 14 day mark, trying to trick us or something) and that we were responsible for the entire bill (99.99 plus 29.99 plus our actual bill.) I was livid, so much in fact that I was balling my head off. I'm sitting on the phone, being the customer service reps worst nightmare, when I finally asked to be transferred to escalations. The man who took over explained to me that there was a $50 credit pending on the account, that I couldn't see, that was for the headphones, one problem down. Then he told me I'd absolutely be able to return the headphones free of charge and get my full refund, second problem taken care of. Bottom line, Verizon's store reps are horrible, unknowledgeable, untrained and it's their managers fault for allowing them on the sales floor to make such huge mistakes. Because of that one dumb salesmen, we had to go back to the store once and spend hours on the phone with Verizon twice to fix his mistakes. Verizon is lucky we're still customer's, at least for now...had other issues with store reps out here in az and they all seem to lack training or the just want to make extra money or collect their incentives from our sales. Either way, they suck, at this store especially! Avoid going in here at all costs and just call Verizon...much more knowledgeable and caring reps over the phone. read more

These are the worst excuse for customer sevice people I have ever come accross. Carlos the sales guy is a complete a$$. I think he has issues because he can barely see over the counters. His small man complex gets in the way of good decision making. I went to the store to follow up with instructions given to me by tech support (which at the point is just as much a joke as Carlos) to have a phone replaced. He argued with me was condescending as well, I told him to stop talking to me and go away, he just stood there continuing to talk over me and not listen. The this poor excuse for a manager Robert just stood there and said he (carlos) is doing nothing wrong. During this whole episode I find out there were four managers there and not one corrected him on his poor bejavior and lack of professionalism. This store is a joke and so is Verizon for hiring such people and allowing these types of behaviors. read more

purchased a new iPhone at this location, and the clerk told me it came with a free HUM device at no extra charge, however later on I found out it was a two year contract and there was a monthly charge of curse !!!! came back to the so call "manager" to see if there was a way to return the device since it was still new and he pretty much without trying to help me out reply to me " you should be reading before you sign " first of all the clerk told me i was signing for the new phone agreement but i guess this is how they get business at this location with lies !!!! i requested him for the contract to be canceled ( even tho i have to pay a cancelation fee) well turns out to be he never canceled the service since i got my bill and i still got charged as it was active? looks like im gonna have to take my business somewhere else since Verizon do not appreciate my business after 10 years of been with them !! read more

This store is terrible. I went in because my phone (which I had bought at the Whittier store) had quit working. Unfortunately the Whittier Store did not have the parts to replace it (the Whittier store has been fabulous) and sent me to Downey who had twelve phones and chargers in stock. As soon as I walked into the Downey store they started telling me they could not help me. First a young man told me that my phone wasn't guarenteed ( I had bought it about 3-4 weeks before) which directly contridicted what I knew to be true. Once he had to admit that it was guarenteed another girl stepped in and told me they couldn't give me a new charger because I didn't have the old one. I explained the Whittier store had taken it - I showed her receipts from the day before - gave her a detailed account of my conversations at the Whittier store - she treated me like I was lying. She finally called the Whittier store - I asked to talk to them (it took me three tries to get her to give me the phone) the Whittier store verified my story and the girl had to give me the new charger. In the mean time they had taken off the screen saver that I had bought the day before and did not put it directly onto the new phone.... so it now has lent stuck to the sticky part and many bubbles. The girl basically said it my problem. The workers were rude. I could not believe how bad the experience was. read more
