I was here Tuesday morning lined up at 5 am because now they have a sign that says no lining up till 5 AM. I respected the rules and I stayed in my spot for five hours. Till 10am opening. I checked the stock for the store and they said they had three specific items that I was looking for but only one per customer which is respectable so that way everyone gets something. I was number three in line and I did not receive the item. I check stock throughout the night to make sure it was still in store. Mind you my friend was number one and my other friend was number two in line so I was number three. No one else went into the store other than the employees. Somewhere between the time of 8:30 AM and 9 AM one of the items disappeared so it showed only two in stock. When it was my turn to purchase, I asked them for the item that I was looking for and they said they had no more after two of my friends purchased theirs. I questioned one of the employees may be a manager. He was wearing a yellow shirt and I asked him his name because he was not wearing a name tag and he said his name was Chris a short Mexican male with his hair slick back and earrings. I questioned him where the item was and eventually he did tell me that the store manager collects Pokemon so it's a possibility that he bought it before the customers were allowed to.. in my opinion that's very shady and customer should always come first. I don't know what kind of business this Best Buy is doing, but I promise I will get to the bottom of this for everyone who collects. We've followed their rules by not lining up at a certain time and we wait our time for items that show in stock. This is not right and do not support this Best Buy. read more

Best Buy has a terrible return policy. I bought a pack of baseball cards online for store pickup. They were meant to be a gift for my nephew, but I found a better option at Costco. When I went to the store to return the item, I was told they have a "no return" policy on trading cards. I explained to the cashier that at no time during my purchase was that explained to me. My order information in the Best Buy app doesn't say not returnable, nor does the confirmation email I received, & I wasn't told that when I picked up the item from the store. The item is unopened, & there is no good reason for them not to return the item. Long story short, we went to 3 different AT&T dealers wanting to replace our broken phone, none of them were able to help us as they either didn't have stock or wanted us to do everything online. We just wanted a phone! Best Buy to the rescue. Seriously. They were the only place where we could buy a phone outright and have it set up. I have a prepaid plan (we don't use this phone very often) and didn't want a subscription, or payment plan. We didn't even want that fancy of a phone, and Best Buy was the first place that actually helped us. I believe the person that helped us was a Samsung representative as she was wearing a Samsung logo shirt rather than one from Best Buy, although the people from BestBuy were also very nice and guiding us to the right person. Within a 1/2 hour, we were able to walk out with the phone, all of our contacts/app transferred over, and very happy. While we were there, we also picked up a new Keurig machine which was on sales with a pre-black Friday price. All and all, a very good experience. read more

Pricing was the same as other retailers online but the BBC (Best Buy Account) brought us in. Service was quick- there was no other customers. Checkout wasn't as thorough as I wished it has been. For the BBC- no monthly payment information was given, no overall balance or remaining balance- ALL helpful information. When asked about remaining balance female worker seemed annoyed. I only got the sense she was annoyed because she quickly gave the balances and before I was able to ask about monthly payments she handed us the receipt and left. My girlfriend and I have been shopping around for a new TV and finally decided on the LG OLED 77" a big purchase at around $2,199 before tax. Usually, we love going to Best Buy. It's like being kids in a candy store fun, exciting, and filled with options. But this visit was a letdown. We walked in knowing exactly which TV we wanted. The team greeted us politely at the door, and we made our way to the TV section to take one last look. While our model wasn't on display, we did spot it boxed near the entrance. We double-checked and confirmed it was the one. We stood there waiting for assistance. After about five minutes, someone told us a sales rep would be right with us. No problem we waited. But when the rep finally approached, they helped another customer nearby first, then came to us with a blunt, almost annoyed "Can I help you with something?" The tone was off unwelcoming and disinterested especially for a major purchase like this. It didn't feel like they wanted our business, and honestly, that stuck with us. BEST BUY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND ITS WORK! I bought a computer at best buy in Cerritos California. They said they would transfer the data from my old unit to the new unit, uninstall my programs and reinstall them on the new unit. Two days later they handed me the hard drive from my old unit. I gave them the program discs, and they TRIED to install them. They said I had to call Adobe and have them do this. I called Adobe, who said the program has to be uninstalled from my old device before it can be added to another device. I went back to the store and asked them to do this. I was told I had to BUY an adapter and do it myself. That was unacceptable. The manager then told me if I PAID for in home service, they would do this and work with Adobe to reinstall the program on my new unit. The tech came, he worked for two hours and finally Adobe told him, until they uninstall the program it can't be done. HOWEVER, they have already destroyed the old unit. Best Buy agrees they didn't do the work, but they are not willing to do anything for me. The only thing Best Buy Headquarters will do is tell me I have to deal with the store directly. There's a terrible, older, worn out, dead pan from working retail woman who works at the customer service desk who is obviously sick of telling people they're sold out of Pokemon cards. Not being a hardcore collector, I felt that asking if they had any stock was a valid and simple question. I was met with scoffing and a fed up remark about 'if I was crazy?' and that they had long sold out of the cards. To her it might be the hundredth time she's told someone but to me it was a genuine question not knowing whether they might have cards or not. Her attitude and snarkiness probably represents the attitude at this Best Buy as she didn't seem to be the only person watching the clock to head home. I had a question regarding an Apple iPhone I had purchased a few weeks earlier in the store. First I was connected to a Verizon representative who worked "online". I asked if I could speak to any Verizon representative who WAS working on site. I told the lady that I had a quick question regarding my phone. I was told that employees at the store did not take any calls from customers by phone. I guess the only way to get questions answered is by actually physically going into the store. I explained that I am physically challenged; I have mobility issues due to my Multiple Sclerosis, and that it was especially difficult for me to actually drive down your the store, and walk into the store. I was told "Sorry, you're going to nevertheless have to come to the store to get an answer to your question". UNBELIEVABLE! No one in the store cares to help me out even after I explain my situation. I bought my iphone 14 and needed help setting up and transferring my number to the new phone. I spoke with this guy who I believe is the Lead in the mobile section because is over riding the other staffs errors in computer or cashier. First he asked me "where did you buy the phone?" I said "Here." (He actually asked me the same question 5 times as If my answer will change ). He has 2 customers in front of me and this is at 6:30 pm last Thursday. Then it's my turn and I started the phone and had some problem with the set up. Had some questions regarding the set up and he said " You got to put in what you got to put in.". Then he said "I can help you with the set up but I have to charge you.". Then I asked "Will it be ok to just transfer the Phone number and set up Apple account late?" His answer is "You got to do what you got to do and I can help you with the set up but I have to charge you." So I said " will just set it up at home and will be back." And asked him "what time Best Buy close?" He answered "We close by 9pm but our system shuts down at 8pm." Best Buy's mission statement is "we're a growth company focused on better solving the unmet needs of our customers--and we rely on our employees to solve those puzzles." This employee is unprofessional and to think that he is a the supervisor in the mobile services section. With this employee, Best Buy's statement should be " we're a company focused in making money, expecting our customers to solve our their own technical problems and we rely on our employees to kick them out of the store unless they are willing to be billed on the help they are asking."
