I want to begin by acknowledging that there are truly exceptional people who work at this Verizon store. Supervisor Daniel stands out as one of the kindest, most intelligent, and knowledgeable Verizon supervisors I've encountered in Fresno. Associates Bella and Seth have also been incredibly professional and helpful during my visits. Cody, and a woman with glasses whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, both provided 100% top-tier customer service. Their support should be recognized and commended. However, despite these positive experiences, I feel compelled to address one of the most disrespectful and demeaning interactions I have ever had in a retail environment--an experience that left me hurt, humiliated, and deeply disappointed. During a recent visit, I was assisted by an employee named Caleb. From the very beginning, his approach was condescending and dismissive. He began our interaction by saying, "Don't interrupt me, I'm speaking"--completely inappropriate, especially when addressing a customer. He then questioned my decision to purchase a Gizmo device for my daughter, even after I explained I had a specific plan. Instead of supporting my choice, he undermined and disregarded it, saying I should just order online, despite my stated needs. As a female veteran who is currently unhoused, I felt belittled, mansplained, and disrespected--not just as a customer, but as a human being. This experience was not only upsetting; it was a clear violation of the dignity and respect every customer deserves. For the record, under California Government Code § 11135 and the Unruh Civil Rights Act (Civil Code § 51), it is illegal for businesses in California to discriminate against or harass individuals based on gender, veteran status, or housing status. As a protected class under both federal and California law--including the Fair Housing Act, California Military and Veterans Code, and local anti-discrimination policies in Fresno County--I deserve to be treated with respect and equality. I share this not to shame, but to call for accountability and training so that no other person--especially someone already facing challenges like housing insecurity--experiences this kind of treatment. Worst possible store to go to, managers are RUDE!!! When I say rude I mean so very rude. They lie to you back to back to back about pricing and internets. Saying it's one thing knowing it's the complete opposite not just this store all Victra Verizon's. WORST company to be with the people at all locations are terrible people , don't trust none of these people I promise you!! Scam artist, they offered me "insurance for my screen protector for 60 dollars" saying I can turn in my phone to get it fixed whenever then when I came back to get my screen fixed once they did it, next time they said it didn't exist so I had to go on my online account to show proof of the purchase. Highly recommend you don't go here. Would give a zero if I could management is horrible. read more

By far the worst experience I've ever had with ANY Verizon store. it took FOUR hours to purchase and set up a new phone, much longer than I was told. I was the only customer there when I got to the store and had to stay 45 minutes after closing time. As I've been with Verizon for over 20 years and they've always gone out of their way to rectify their mistakes I asked what would be done to compensate for my time the agent called her boss, José Rocha who rather than apologize and offer any compensation, was defensive and hostile. according to Rocha "it is not unusual for a new phone set up to take this long". I was told it would take an hour or hour and a half to transfer my data. I heard him tell the employee "up to two hours" when she called him about my complaint but once on the phone with me he changed it to 3 hours. So, if you're ready to wait 4 hours and a defensive manager for a new phone, this is your store. read more

I reached out to the store manager, Ruggero, since Ed no longer works at this location, he told me he couldn't do anything, but he would check with the sales rep who is working at a different location, to try to resolve this issue. Came to this store to fix our iPhone 14, was told to wait as there were two customers before us, both customers were helped and left and an additional customer walked in and was then helped before us. As he was a sale which clearly took priority, we had to sit and listen to the rep upsell him twice as we sat still waiting to be helped for over 40 minutes, to which we finally walked out to go to an actual Verizon store. read more

Rep was awesome but one person can only do so much. I waited about 45 minutes to buy an iPhone 12 max. While the rep tried to help two guys who weren't happy with any of the prices. Somehow instead of this resulting in the gentlemen leaving it results in the rep calling supervisors to see if he can override the system on prices. Had to go to a meeting. All around I had a really good experience. Loved the atmosphere. As soon as I walked in the door I was acknowledged and they were very welcoming. Even when they were busy with other customers, as soon as someone else walked in to the store, they showed same love as they did me. I like that I didn't feel like I was getting pressured into a sale and they actually take their time with you. Definitely recommend coming here. And I don't live close by. Made an appointment online for 5:00 p.m. It's now 5:30 and I'm still waiting. 2 random customers have walked in and were helped prior to me. Not quite sure how that all works but I thought I would receive priority. My husband walked in on December 23rd and was at the store for hours trying to get help with our account. I didn't realize this place is a distributor of Verizon, not an actual Verizon store. Waited 45 minutes to be told the pickup order I placed is not in stock. Could have simply said that and not wasted mine or their time. Anais could benefit from listening to customers and what they are trying to buy rather than speed-talking over them to upsell something they aren't interested in. Listening to her customer interaction for almost an hour was very telling about how the establishment runs.
