They told me it could be up to 30 days to get it signed by the optometrist because they don't have one on-site and would have to fax it. Since we were already there, I went ahead with the exam and got him glasses. Before leaving, I asked the person working if the fax would be sent out today, knowing it doesn't take long to receive and return a fax in this day and age, and was told not yet. I asked if they thought it would be sent out today; again, I was told, "I don't know." Ok, so I asked whether you have any idea on when it might get faxed; response: "when we get to it". Ok! So the interesting thing is that the prescription they gave me had a doctor's signature! HMMM! So they are either lazy or just rude. Came back well after the time they said the glasses would be done, and imagine that, they still weren't. I don't know about you, but I think it's crazy they don't have an optometrist/Dr on site or available to give you a signed form within 24 hrs, yet they can get you glasses and a Dr signature on the prescription (which was an electronic signature). Doctor on demand or any Dr's office can get you a signed note, form, or letter within 24 hours. I wouldn't waste my time with this place and would recommend you go anywhere else.

At the end of my appointment after picking out my glasses I was told by the front desk lady that my insurance did not in fact cover my eye exam or glasses. I had no idea my insurance had changed, if I did I would not have made an appointment. They told me to call the number on the back on my insurance card so I did. It was a struggle considering my eyes were still dilated and I couldn't read my insurance card, I would've asked one of the nice ladies at the desk to help me but I was too embarrassed. After calling my insurance to find out I no longer had any coverage, I went up to the front desk to tell them I will have to sort out my insurance and come back at a later date to pay my bill. Eventually I get new insurance and go back to the eye dr. Apparently getting insurance after your unpaid visit will still not cover that visit, not the drs fault I know that but I am still getting more frustrated. I leave and come back a few days later with my boyfriend who paid my bill for me. I was very excited to finally get my glasses. We pay and I ask for my glasses and the front desk lady says there are no glasses ordered for me because of my unpaid bill. Understandable but also I have been in this eye doctor twice now trying to pay my bill for my glasses, all I want are the glasses I picked out. My bill was 120 without the glasses. I was very nice but I'm very upset.
