A poor man's version of a third party Verizon store and that's actually being nice! Decided to drop by because after checking online, this particular location had said it had the new Apple iPhone 16 Pro in Black Titanium finish and with 512 GB. So, wanted to go and see for myself. Drove 15 miles to find out that the store had 0 demo phones for display! Didn't see a single phone, not even a dummie phone for the customers to check out! There was only 1 guy working as a customer service rep and he was on the phone when we walked in. There were 4 people sitting down and waiting their turns. We waited about 10 minutes when he was on the phone getting instructions on how to apply a device payment on the computer while he was still on his phone. Guess the guy was a newbie employee! Didn't bother greeting any of us who were waiting at all. So, we simply asked a quick question to him about the iPhone 16 Pro, to see if he had any in the store. And he basically told us: "Better go to the Apple Store because I doubt we have any in the back. Maybe the basic iPhone 16, but that's about it." And that was that. 2 other customers walked out of the store when he had said that and we followed suit. There was no point to sit there and wait for no reason. The guy didn't seem to care that he had lost 3+ customers! And he wasn't that polite, and looked like he didn't want to work anyway, besides not having any phones at all!!! Service was without regard to customer requests. Very expensive and opposite of what we requested. After a very frustrating 3 days we are almost switched over. We stayed within the android system so the new phone (completely Google) would be easy to adapt to for us. We were also lied to about the huge increase in our monthly billing after we paid in full, lots of money, so as not to increase our regular bill. Buyers beware! Horrible customer service at this location. There was three workers and one of them was chitchatting with his customer and in no hurry to end it. He then went into the back room for about 5 minutes, comes back out and was going to leave and take a break....there was 7 people still waiting for assistance. One of his coworkers told him no he needs to help somebody else. He rolled his eyes, huffed and puffed and proceeded to go back into the back room. I left went and went out to my car and called Verizon on the phone. My transaction on the phone took about 30 minutes And I'm watching in the store and the young worker didn't come out of the back room for almost the whole entire time I was on the phone. I will never come back to this place again they are not customer oriented obviously. I'm only giving it one star because I have to, I would do zero stars if I could. read more

Hi Alex, I'm hoping this email reaches you and does not bounce back. I was in your Kent Station store on 11/28/2017 and switched carriers to Verizon. The sales person while friendly did not tell me that she was selling me a tablet with service on it. All she said was that I qualified for the Black Friday sale. The sales persons name was Rav. It took over two hours to switch services on my phones. I switched to your service. My employer has a special discount for employees that I was told I had to set up at home. When I went home to set up this service I noticed monthly charges for a tablet I don't want and wasn't there to purchase in the first place. I work long hours and am a single mother of 4. I can not afford the service your employees so recklessly tacked onto my initial need. I returned to your store and tried to explain this to your store manager- I was told by the 2 other victa locations that he was the only one who could wave the restocking fee. He was arrogant and blamed me for signing the agreement. Mind you- I signed this agreement after I had stood at your counter for two hours. I am just not real savvy about this stuff. He continued to be unhelpful and tell me that if I didn't change the tone of my voice he would not help me. I defiantly swore at him. I defiantly used choice words I should not have. But his level of customer shaming is not ok. He asked me to leave the store and would not return the product I do not need. I am asking for your help returning this tablet minus a restock fee. Beware, they are SCAMMERS!!! Went there for a new phone. Sales gal signed us up for $75 per month in insurance and extra services without our knowledge. Lied to us about accessories and said we must purchase new ones by implying our old ones would not work with the new phone when they work just fine. They charged a $30 fee to setup the new phone when we told them we didn't want them to set it up. Completely bungled the activation and sent us away with neither our old phone nor our new phone in working condition. Tried calling their phone number to speak with someone in the store but it routes you to Victra's "internal" customer service line in North Carolina and magically no one can get ahold of anyone in the Kent store nor can they seem to find a manager to help. And of course the "manager" never calls back after the customer service rep takes your name and number so they can call you. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

One person managing whole store. I get it when it's slow. When you get a rush of customers with 1 person it becomes and a long wait. You can put 2 people in, would help. The salesperson telling customers it gonna be an hour or more wait. I went in and they where getting me al set up then was to to come back tomorrow and it should be fixed. I went in the next day it was an hour wait and once again 1 salesperson. Then when they got to me. Well I can only do 1 phone cause I only have 1 sim card. Urrrg. I do not recommend this store at all if you are not tech savvy and a senior age 65 or older. I purchased Verizon new phone plan, this is not a VERIZON store, it is only an authorized store to sell Verizon. Numerous visits to store only one employee, B, would help me with respect and kindness. I returned my new phone as PER directed by Verizon, because I had cancelled service after only 10 days and never getting incoming calls due to Verizon error. Verizon agent directed me to return phone by 10/17/22 as was to be my cancel date and not to incur any more charges. After days of trying to get phone service to work I was done with Verizon. I brought in phone in box and email from Verizon stating their error. The young lady told me she would not accept phone, it was not her responsibility and if I left the new phone and copy of email, she would just put the phone outside for anyone to take. She said I needed to return at another time because a manager was not in the store. She again said if I left the phone as per directed by Verizon, she would again leave phone outside. She informed me that I would be sent to collections for phone. I took phone home and called Verizon another story. Not treated with any kind of respect and being sent to collections was my fate. read more

I went into the Victra/Verizon contract store in Kent Station on Mother's Day to pay cash for a car charger. I was told by Tyler J. (and just confirmed with manager Cody) that I could not buy the charger without giving them my PIN to get into my account. Isn't a PIN a personal identification number?! Tyler commanded that I give it to him. I say I wasn't comfortable with that so he sent me a code via text to do so. Then continued to try to sell me something. I paid for my charger and left. What I didn't appreciate was the hard sell of commanding my PIN and telling me that there were cameras in the store verifying he was getting into my account with each transaction. I just called to talk with the manager, who claims our phone was disconnected twice when all was well on my end of the call. I will never step foot in or purchase from that location ever again. And I don't recommend them, at all. Old school hard sells, not the way people do business in this day. Customer service took a hit in the name of them making opp to sell me. Not good. In responding to Victra's comment below: I clearly stated that I was paying cash, not applying any sale to my account. It was completely unnecessary to bully me into providing my "personal identification number" simply so that you have a platform to sell me. The "force" was inappropriate. I spoke with the manager of the store "Nicholas" and he confirmed that they won't even sell a customer a product without accessing their accounts, no matter what. He blamed it on a warranty. He stated that a warranty is not honored unless they can get into a customer's account. That is very lame and inappropriate. Imagine if that happened at any other retail location. I visited the Verizon wireless Victra store located at 438 Ramsey Way in Kent Washington yesterday to pick up my new iPhone X when I was greeted by Frank Alvarez the sales rep there who began to tell me that I would not be able to pick up the new iPhone then I pre-ordered and less I purchased a tablet or a HUM device . None of this was told to me when I pre-ordered or when I had came earlier in the day to pick it up and it wasn't ready yet so I went along with it and got the Hum. He then proceeds to tell me that I cannot return one unless I returned both. Which raises a lot of red flags for me. Then come to find out later after talking to some other Verizon wireless stores that the sales rep had actually lied to me and force me to purchase something I did not want or need. I do not appreciate the shady sales tactics employees at the store and request that swift action to be taken immediately. I wonder how many other times this frank Alvarez has forced items upon other customers.I wanted to bring to post this because otherwise it will go unnoticed. I will also be making a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Do not buy from Frank Alvarez or The manager there named Mike . Neither should be anymore. read more
