Only went here because the reviews were promising even though it's in a sketchy location. I brought my PC in about a couple months ago ( UPDATE actually it was a month and a week and a half ago) So this review is a little late. But I brought it in because my screen was just straight black screen. The guy had me leave it there overnight. He texted me the next day when it was ready. I came back and my PC was working fine again. Just sucked that all my stuff on there before was erased but if it meant to fix my expensive PC I let him do it. So I took it home and not long after I kept experiencing the blue screen this time. It would give me either just blue screen and restart on its own or give me options to restart or continue to windows 11 or shut off. And I would get this screen before I brought it to this guy right before it turned to complete black screen. But as of now the blue screen is consistent and It lets me log in but as soon as I log in BLUE SCREEN. It's very frustrating since I paid so much for this guy to fix my PC just to get as much problems with it as before. I should've just saved the money I paid this guy to buy a whole new PC cause this is just ridiculous. So if anyone wants to buy my (defective, Junk) PC and get it working somehow. Attention gamers!! Totally happy with my experience, here. I burned up my gaming computer in a tournament. Justin was able to accurately diagnose the fix. The answers I got were honest, the advice accurate. I left near tears, but with options. A couple paychecks later I was able to return and again it was Justin who was able to install repair parts, overclock the system and correct the cooling issue that caused the original problem. Update - My bad - believing people could be good!!! I returned to this establishment because the owner called me and made my computer right again. Came to my house and fixed it. Now....computer #2 they did the exact same thing. Cleaned it up - but Microsoft Suite is missing. When I called to let them know. All the guy said was "what we did did t effect Microsoft suite. I can keep telling ge you that but it's not going to change. ". Then he had the nerve to say " How do I know it was there In The first place?" Really??????? You go to get a fix and your computer comes out worse then when it went in!!! DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS:!!!! I went to this place because all the reviews were so good. But.... I really liked the guys they are personable and seem helpful but.... I really don't feel I got good service. Originally brought my pc in for a battery problem. I watched as Dorian took out all the screws and undid my laptop to take it apart. The table used was full of stuff and he just set my screws anywhere. No baggie or magnet to keep them together. Check the battery and said they had to order one. It took weeks to get. Then it was missing screws and they said it was my fault and just put some random screws back in place to make the laptop pieces clip together properly. Then when I got it back it wasn't working. The whole operating system had crashed. ( They recovered my files I needed when the battery died but now I couldn't access them). They told me it was because of the battery going out my operating system died. I then returned it and they recovered or put back my operating system. We don't use this computer much. Use our phones or work computers for most everything. But when we need one home this is it - ie: to do our taxes etc. Found out a few weeks after we got it back - ( ie: don't use it much- checked when we got it at the shop it had the operating system and all our files). Didn't check for Microsoft Office to be put back on - my bad!! We bought this computer with Office etc already installed from Costco. We didn't have a key to reinstall. So had to go buy a new one. I feel they just did what they could to get the fastest money and then get me out of there. Had to keep getting them to "fix" things they screwed up. I worked at a computer repair place for years. I'm not ignorant of how PCs work etc. I won't go back! read more

Had to take in our PC as it wouldn't start up after us trying to upgrade the graphics card and turned out to be a power supply issue. Taking anything to a repair shop can be daunting as there is always a possibility that you will be gouged for your money should you end up going to the wrong place. Thus, I relied on reviews in deciding which place to go, and PC's Done Right stood out so I decided to go with them instead of other places that are much closer to my home. Totally no regrets! I'm impressed by how fast they completed the job, but more than anything, it's their customer service that really stood out. The tech who worked on my PC not just (obviously) fixed the issue but also took the time to educate us about how to optimize it and make it work better for us, and also put in a bit more work to improve the system, without asking for extra. He also graciously offered and insisted to take the PC down to my car, which is just super impressive and much appreciated. It's not that I would want any of my stuff to break, but should I have any issues with my PC in the future, there's no doubt I will be returning to this place. I've had my nice gaming desktop for the past few years and have generally taken pretty good care of it....until my darling little kitty cat decided to knock over a glass of water straight into the tower. PC's Done Right were excellent. We asked them to repair a laptop display that had gone black. They put a new screen in my 9-year old laptop. I was lucky they could find a new display for such an old PC. At first my pc didn't work correctly after picking it up. It would crash, and fail to boot, resetting to the boot screen as though the power button had been pressed. Andrew, the owner, asked us to bring the laptop back so they could correct the issue. Andrew traced the problem to thermal paste on the processor heat sink that had gotten brittle with age. After applying new thermal paste, he took extra time to make sure the PC, when running at 100% CPU capacity, was still not overheating. It was returned working perfectly. Both Andrew and Justin very knowlegeable, polite, and willing to work with me - which I really appreciate during these times. I highly recommend them, and would definitely use them again. read more
