Signed up to try a business internet account. Was told it was worry free if it did not work and if returned within 30 days no charges. Returned in 14 days, Kingsland location did not return equipment to inventory, charged $536 a month later. Four and on half hours with store rep was told to pay $84. Thirty days later receive a bill for $29.45, call store and ask to speak to a manager or the person signing their checks. After a rude 30 minutes a "manager" is put on the line and said I needed to pay the $29.45 and he would check and call me three days later. Stores do not have a manager, lie #1, did not call within 3 days, lie #2, received another bill 30 days later for $11.11 equipment charges, lie #3. Finally today and employee submitted a customer contact sheet (not sure of exact title) to have a manager contact me within 72 hours. Crappy way to run a business. Salespeople do whatever without repercussions. Even pretending to be store managers. Waiting for phone call from unknown number, so I have to answer spam calls, to try to hold someone accountable and get my money back. RECOMMEND seeking assistance at any other location. Three months later, $125, and over 9 hours of my time wasted working with people that cannot correct my issue and return my money paid to try to put this behind me. UPDATE; The Kingsland verizon store turned modem back on one month after it was returned to store, reinstated contract and started using data under my name. Then customer service call center told me I turned it back on. Also wanted me to go back to the store and ensure modem that was returned to the store on Feb 25th was actually returned. Waiting for a call back from a call center manager and filing a police report on the stolen modem. AGAIN, THERE ARE NO MANAGERS AT THESE STORES. REPRESENTATIVES CAN FAIL AT THEIR JOBS WITH ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. Spend an additional 1 1/2 hours on the phone with Verizon customer service. Asked to speak to a manager since the stores do not have anyone in charge, the customer service rep kept telling me all managers were in a meeting. I asked to remain on hold for the manager but if course she promised they would call me back within 4 hours. I am sure you can guess, no call. All they care about is selling you a product and could care less if the service works or the customer is taken care of. Still out of $130+ and fraud committed at this location by turning g a service back on and using data weeks after I had turned in the equipment. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION. Got me a new iPhone for just about $300. Much less than I expected for such a huge upgrade! He was patient, knowledgeable and explained everything!! Needed to exchange a charger that stopped working. Upon arrival I was told they can't exchange it despite what Verizon told me online. Instead of offering any assistance, I was told they can't help and I need to go to Brunswick to exchange it. Won't be back and honestly the service makes me want to cancel my service with them. Shame on you! We are in the Hurricane Irma evacuation zone in Kingsland, GA. We have no power and no internet! The only way for me to check in with my family is by using my cellular data. This is also the only way to get news updates! You gave unlimited to Florida "Having their back during the hurricane". Well, my house is one mile from the Florida border, can't get "our backs" too? We had to pay more money to up our service to 4GB for two days! My whole family has been a long time customer, but that will soon change! Again, shame on you! read more

I've made the mistake of having not one but two bad experiences with this store. The sales people are cutthroat for commissions and do not give a hoot about customer service. I gave them a second chance when the first phone they sold me went totally dead suddenly. I lost all my info, pictures, contacts, etc. That phone was highly recommended by the sales staff and it was the worst phone I ever owned. I decided to try an I Phone this time switching from android. The billing has been outrageous, I'm 100% retired and need to spend my $ very wisely and will not ever do business with them again. I 100% recommend that you go to your actual Verizon store and not a retailer if you want to get any level of quality Verizon based service. read more

I went to the Verizon store to take care of another matter. While there, the sales person sold me something called HUM which plugs into my car and monitors my engine for mechanical problems. A couple months later my car was totaled in an accident. I called both Verizon and Hum to let them know to cancel my service. They both agreed. I found out I've been paying for this service since July for a car I no longer have. Verizon wants to charge me $90 to stop the service and of course they won't give me the 5 months of payments back. I'm really upset. Verizon--big business holds all the cards. They don't mind burning people who have precious little. Thanks for nothing Verizon. Go to a real Verizon store. I spent the entire time there on the phone with Verizon then when I left I checked my app to see what my new bill was and it was twice what they told me when I left. I then spent an hour on the phone with Verizon again. Go to an actual corporate store and save your time. read more

I love my new phone, but I will never get over how a loyal Verizon customer for 20 years, still gets up charged every single time it's time to upgraded. You would think that your company would take care of your most loyal customers. If it wasn't for me living in a remote location, I would go with another company that doesn't charge you so much for basic service. I went in to get my screen looked at and possibly replaced. Under the new insurance they provide, I was able to get someone to my house within 3 hours to come replace and program a new phone. It was fast and easy. The people there were really nice. Overall a good experience. read more

On December 20, 2015 I gave a sales person in this store $104 towards a new phone and to switch carriers from AT&T to Verizon. Today is February 9, 2016 and I still do not have all that was promised me to switch to Verizon. I get the run around from the sales person, the store manager and Verizon wireless. All three are pointing fingers at each other and no one is willing to resolve the issue. If my issue is not resolved in the coming days I will post suspicious activity and un salesmen like tactics by a particular sales person at this store. Be wary when patronizing this store. While the apple products they sell are fine, they consciously withhold information regarding fees charged and costs of products. In addition, even if you ask for discounts that you are eligible for as a Verizon customer you have to check your receipt carefully BEFORE you leave the store. Examples of their borderline fraudulent practices are: 1) we asked if there was a charge to switch our old phones to new ones and we were told, "no". Then "discovered" after the fact that there was a $35. per phone charge to transfer contents from the old phones. When questioned we were told the "activation fee" was waived, but there was a non-refundable charge for data transfer. 2) we were told about a special on new Ipads - $300. and there were two ways it could be handled: agreeing to a two year contract with monthly payments at zero interest OR pay for it in full with data plan that could be cancelled at any time. What they failed to mention was that the second option cost $120. more. 3) had to return to the store to get the 10% discount and "adjust" the price of the phones (off by $10./phone. In addition the mark-up on cases and screen protectors is about 200-400% over what you pay elsewhere. My recommendation is to take your business to a corporate store rather than this "authorized" dealer. Highway Robbers! Buyer Beware! read more

I will never go to this store again. I was lied to just to make a sale and refuse to do business there anymore. Thankfully verizon has helped me on the phone so from now on I will be driving to the nearest Verizon store, not this authorized dealer. All they care about is commission. read more
