Well let me just say that Evan needs to leave his chip on his shoulder out the door before he clocks in to work. He had an older gentlemen he was helping. I know he was trying his best to explain to the gentleman why his bill was higher than the previous month. But let me tell you...Evan was annoyed the gentleman wasn't understanding why his bill increased. As a customer that was there observing, I was angry at the way Evan had talked to the customer. He proceeded to turn to manager on duty and while the manager(I believe his name is Brandon) was patiently explaining the reason for the increase, Evan was standing in the background, rolled his eyes(yes rolled his eyes), arms crossed, initiation was written all over his face. Poor poor poor customer service from him. I'm really glad he didn't help up. Now for the good--- our sales person was awesome!!! Robert excellent job at helping us with our new purchase. These employees (scumbags) (scammers) will do everything they can to get you spending a rediculous amount of money for things that are not even worth the value they put on it. They will lie about the performance of the phones, saying that it is better than other phones that have better performance. Sales Rep number P057392, Went in to this Verizon to show Id, as I was buying a product online and the upload Id was not working. When I was leaving the store, the Rep stated you will have full home protection, I just said ok, as I was walking out the door. I receive an e-mail stating that I bought home protect for 25.00 per month. I never bought it, nor signed anything, just showed them my I.D. I am now on hold forever trying to cancel it. I had a great experience yesterday with Shannon J! She was def a sought after person yesterday and she still spent quality time, not rushing our transaction, while I got set up with a new phone I traded my iPhone 7+ for the iPhone XS. Shannon along with the other two gals in there answered so many of my questions and showed me various camera features as I compared the 7+, XS, XS max, XR and Google phone. The main reason traded my 7+ in is because I wanted the improved camera features, and my 7+ would not stop overheating to the point of shutting down- multiple times a day, and the battery life was wretched, despite having the battery and phone replaced once or twice. Ii he submitted a claim with Asuron(sp) a few months ago and got a confirmation waiting saying they would contact me soon for a replacement and they never did. Although I had great service and am giving five stars, I do have to say that this XS is also overheating and the battery life so far seems the same if not worse than the 7+ was even though it is shaped to be better because of smaller screen, etc. The plastic I purchased to place over the screen for protection is also making it quite difficult to type with. I'm also not in love with the facial recognition so I shut it off and have been using the passcode feature instead - which is actually kind of a pain compared to the 7+ with the thumbprint. So anyways, the service was great but at this moment I do kind of feel like I wasted $1,100 to not get anything better than what I had. I'm not in that area anymore though so I can't exactly go back and get my old phone back at this lint ...... I'll reevaluate my review after I've had the phone a little longer though. read more

I went to the store as my phone suddenly kept on restarting, the girl heard my problem and just put the phone down and didn't even try to see what was happening, but instead tried to sell me a new one. We went back in with my husband a couple of days later and no one acknowledged us and after waiting for some time , with no other customers there we just left and got our 2 new phones from our previous Verizon supplier in a different town! Andrew and Felipe were absolutely AMAZING in helping my husband (formerly T-Mobile) and myself open our own joint plan as a newlyweds. We were both long overdue for upgrades and had tons of annoying and complicated questions about phone brand differences, plan pricing, our previous plans, discounts, etc. Both were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and professional with us the entire time. We had come in the day prior, and Felipe broke down all of the pricing for us in-depth on a piece of paper for our reference to think on. Not only were both gentlemen witty and kind, but offered us the best deal, a military discount, in addition to price matching phone cases from Amazon for us! Overall we had one of the best experiences ever with Verizon and would highly recommend this location. They went above and beyond to help us, seamlessly juggling multiple other customers while still attending to us. As I've purchased iPhones and iPads, unfortunately each and every time there's been a transfer from one iPhone to another iPhone, AND a transfer of one iPad to another iPad, there's been PROBLEMS WITH BOTH iPhones and iPads after I've left the store. This last time, first my Facebook was messed up. I returned to the store and had gotten Facebook back. Upon arriving home, all of my emails were erased. It's obvious the priority there is getting the money and NOT CHECKING TRANSFER OF INFORMATION COMPLETED. I'm so fed up with the BS. In addition, when I returned to the store to fix my emails, the store had POORLY posted the store hours were changed for August, thus, I will have to wait until tomorrow to have this corrected because they changed their store hours. I went in to find out if a jetpack would work for my needs. Of course I was assured that it would, but if it didn't, I had until June 30th to return jetpack. It did not work, ran out of data in 2 days, I had left town and returned, I, through chat made sure that I could return the device on the 30th. I was reassured that I could. When trying to return, the very rude male person in there, told me I could not return it, it was a day late. I had proof on my chat that I was told I could, but he refused to even care. I left the jetpack there, in a sack, with return date on it, took a photo of it and left. I have now been told by 16 different agents that it should have been returned. However, I can't get any help with this. I will change carriers as quickly as I can. Verizon, you suck! read more

April 20, 2022 both my wife and I had a dropping call issue starting at 1:30PM, we attempted to view issues via the web on our laptop. We even attempted to use 611 to call Verizon with no connection either. So we waited until 4:45PM same day and drove down to the Verizon/Victra store on 55 Lake Havasu Ave. There we found a hand written note on the door, stating: "Nation Wide Outage", so we drove across the parking lot to have dinner at Chipotle where I asked a man in line with us if his phone was dropping all incoming and outgoing calls. He called his home and made a connection just fine, I then retested my phone, calling my wife, and it connected but immediately dropped the call. So I asked the woman picking up a pickup order and she called her home and connected just fine. So we drove across the parking lot, and we went into the Verizon/Vectra store and were greeted immediately, and asked how they can help me in a smiling and cheerful way. When I told them about my issue, the tone dropped a bit and I was told there is a "Nation Wide Outage" so having done my due diligence, and waiting an appropriate time, I argued the point. This is not a Nation Wide Outage, as described, and the young woman immediately started talking over me with yes it is. So I raised my voice to complete my premise that a Nation Wide Outage as stated is complete and all encompassing this is not that situation. I was shunned by client there for arguing with the nice girl, I actually turned may attention to him and thanked him for his input. I re addressed her, and stated the note on the door and her pat answer should be clarified not delivered as both gospel and all encompassing, and that this is akin to propaganda. This office has a large turn-over, half the citizens are over 55, the staff actually have a very boring job followed by moments of frustrated customers who were prepared with "Actual" evidence; I would have liked to see a demonstration of her phone not working, as we could see family and friends attempting to call us on our Samsung phones for three hours at this point. Note: we had had issues with our Samsung phones recently, "Disconnecting from the network" randomly, something we have never experience while owning some 26 cell phones in 20 plus years. We ask for help so rarely, we have been locked into contracts with false stories from Verizon often enough that we don't trust them or there contractors any longer. Service when you need it is not trust worthy at Verizon/Victra, sometimes within days depending upon your US location, and while traveling. FYI: Verizon eventually posted a public message: Stating a fiber connection disconnect was to blame for a Western USA outage, Phoenix, Tucson, Los Angeles, Seattle etc. Comment: So if the issue was a physical cable, then Verizon wireless would have an actual "Nation Wide Outage" at least regionally in Arizona, California and Washington, (Western Nation? ;=D) cell service in this town, as we were all relying on the same cell towers, same fiber cable. This is very un-plausible with my knowledge of Fiber and Telecom systems. read more

My mother in law went into this store to get assistance with a laptop I purchased through Verizon for her. They made her pay $20 before they would assist her because it wasn't purchased at that Verizon. She paid the $20 because she was in desperate need of help since we live in CO and we are unable to assist her from here. After paying the $20 the woman told her that she doesn't know much about laptops and not really able to help her. This won't be the only way I communicate my disappointment in the lack of customer service and humanity. read more

My husband and I were in need of a new phone for him and we were inquiring about switching carriers from sprint to Verizon. We were fortunate to be greeted by Triston, the customer service/sales representative at the Verizon store. He listened to our needs and did not try to sell us a plan beyond that, although he did carefully explain all the options that we may also be interested in. Triston is top notch. He is thoroughly knowledgeable and willingly assisted us after the sale as courteously and carefully as he did prior to the sale. On April 11th. 2016, I entered this store and was greeted with a happy person telling me that they would be right with me. Almost immediately a store employee greeted me again. I briefly told her my problem showing her my statement from Verizon as my total bill was extremely high and I told her I needed some help as to why and how I might reduce my next bill to a much more affordable payment. Stephanie was very helpful and after checking over many items and asking several questions, Stephanie was able to show me a couple of items that my husband and I were doing to cause my bill to be so high. Stephanie told me that she didn't think that those two items would cause my bill to be so high. she continued on checking and asking questions and came to the conclusion that my jetpack was not working correctly. I decided to have Stephanie disconnect the problem and I called Verizon and informed an agent (Pat) that I did not want to use the jetpack any longer. Stephanie was such a helpful employee in all ways. she was very concerned about my bill and worked with me in a very kind and professional manor. She was able to find the problem and worked with me all the way to the finish so that I wouldn't have this kind of an issue again. I cannot say enough for Stephanie and her personel skills and how she used them. She was conserned about her customer as well as taking care of her business in all ways at all times. Ginna basically baited my son into buying a new iPhone. First she told him that he would get a $500 credit for trading in his current iPhone. They didn't have the color he wanted so she ordered it and said over and over that it was going to be here in a day or two even though the email regarding the phone said it wasn't even going to ship for three weeks. After just over a week the phone my son got the email that the phone arrived (no phone call from the store as promised). Then all of a sudden she notices there is a small crack. Now all of a sudden the most credit he can get is $78. And that he has to do on his own. Separate from the new phone. When I got upset about it she immediately started accusing me of guaranteeing her that the phone was in perfect condition. She never even asked. Her coworker Michelle was just as rude and told me that if she helped me she would just send it in and let me receive a bill so she wouldn't have to deal with it. Then Mike came over to help us. He was barely nice. I would not recommend this store as its employees don't seem at all interested in actually being honest or helpful. read more

No longer a GoWireless retailer but don't let that stop you from the best customer service I've ever had at a cellular retailer. Just moved to the area and my new 6 Plus went for a swim. Without having wifi or a landline I was lost. Went into this store and Jeff Wilkinson handled the whole process for me. Filed my claim with insurance and followed the process all the way thru till completion. I am sure there are other customers he could have helped but he just kept saying 'no problem, this is what we are here for'. Since I was in the store for quite awhile I was able to observe how they dealt with many customers and all interactions I saw were top notch. I came in a couple of days ago to purchase a prepaid phone for work. I just needed to make calls and receive texts. The guy tells me the only phone he can sell me is the Moto-E. I paid over a hundred dollars and then paid the first month on it which waz 32 dollars andnchange. I come to find out that they upsell their devices here and that it's considerably cheaper online with Verizon. It's one third if the price at other retailers! I came back to return the product and i am out about 65 dollars on a ohine i didn't even use! The management was not willing to work with me even after i told them that the person who sold me the phone didn't offer up the savings via the internet. She said they were separate! read more

Ordered two new phones on a Friday and set an appointment to pick them up the following Friday. UPS lost them during the week, so that's nobody's fault. When asking to cancel the order, we were told they can't do it until the phones arrive. We spent countless hours talking to UPS, Verizon and other GoWireless locations to resolve this issue. Other GoWireless locations were more than happy to help, but couldn't because it wasn't the Lake Havasu location. The problem with the LHC location is that they never answer the damn phone. Once we were able to get ahold of the manager at the LHC location, he didn't care, was very,VERY rude, wouldn't look into the matter and would not let us know what his district manager's name or number was. He basically just hung up after saying he'll look into it. Who the hell doesn't take care of customers after ten days of waiting? Apparently, UPS, Verizon (actual company) are liars and the damn LHC GoWireless manager (Christopher) is a saint. read more

My cell phone died battery wouldn't charge, was told I had 2 options, #1 get refurbished phone via insurance on my phone or #2 buyout existing plan then upgrade to a new phone. I planned on option #2 but i didn't have the funds then. Went back the next week with my cash in hand. Talked to the sales clerk, told him what I wanted then set cash on the counter and he said "Sorry we don't except cash". I'm like "excuse me? What do you mean you don't take cash?" He once again said "We just don't accepted cash". I said fine I'll take my business elsewhere". If I wasn't in a family plan & other member couldn't switch because other company doesn't have good cell service in her area(mountains), I would have left Verizon and joined Sprint. So I took my CASH to a non-verizon owned retail store. I will never go to this moronic store again. And I plan on in the future to leave my family plan and switch to Sprint or Boost and say see ya to Verizon for good. read more

It stands to reason that anyone's purchase of a product that offers both security, safety and constant information flow, does his homework. In Redondo Beach CA I did that years ago with Verizon and remain a Verizon customer today because consistent performance is the back bone of my rating a corporation, especially one in the communications category. While visiting relatives in Lake Havasu City, AZ, an elderly relative of mine (86) wanted to make major changes to his phone, TV and computer access. I highly recommended Verizon. Based on that we drove to the Verizon store on Lake Havasu Blvd. While waiting to meet with a rep, the store was packed, I was able to listen to conversations, A lot of them were customers who already own Verizon phones and we there getting advice or help with using their products. The young staff seemed very geared to their role. When we were introduced to the man who would be helping us, TRISTAN, stood out from moment one. He allowed my relative to first describe his reason for being there and then, point by point explained in layman's terms how Verizon could enhance what he wanted to do. No hard sell, no pushy attitude at all. my relative is not exactly Bill Gates, and Tristan adjusted his tech knowledge to a language the 86 year old understood. The end result is he decided to switch to Verizon for his phone, computer and TV needs. The packages chosen fit his needs, desires and budget. Verizon has a good customer service tech in Tristan. Who seemed to listen, take notes, and then adapt Verizon packages to fit my relative and make sure he felt confident he had used his valuable time wisely by coming to the Verizon store. Yes, Lake Havasuians, if you seek well trained, thoughtful, and analytical customer service agents, try the store on Lake Havasu Blvd. and ask for TRISTAN. I have no doubts whatsoever that Mr. Carr, the manager has trained them all in the same way. I have been a national sales manager for two decades, I would hire TRISTAN in a flash if he was to be hired on my experience of watching him evaluate the customers needs and then presenting honest solutions to his communication needs.
