Now I remember why I switched from Verizon. Today, I switched back to them and am already regretting it. I picked up a new phone tonight. It was very chaotic in the store and no one seemed to know what was going on. When I finally got someone to wait on me, they took my license and disappeared. The woman finally returned with my new phone in a bag and basically said, here you go. When I got home, I could not get the phone to set up and when trying to call the store, it was a waste of time. I was placed on hold for an eternity and never did reach anyone to help me. Verizon does not have customer service, period. Very, very poor. Tomorrow, I will be waiting at the door when they open and returning the phone. Then I'm going back to T-Mobile. Verizon just sucks. read more

I did call into Verizon support *611 and a very nice lady helped me and has a new SIM card in route to me. If this doesn't work then we will look at a new phone. It is still amazing two guys (Paul the manager & Quinton) could be so bad at taking care of customers that ultimately takes care of Verizon. Thankful for the support I got by calling phone support. I arrived at 6:20, got checked in and followed the instructions the guy gave me about making myself an account manager so that I could trade my phone in (I was not the primary account manager). I waited until 6:50 and finally got help after actively walking out of the store. 2 people came in after me and got immediate help, yet I was kept waiting and waiting. Only to be told that I could not trade my phone in because I was not the primary account owner (which the first guy said would fix that problem and which I did the correct thing to make myself one) by the most bland and personality-less consultant ever. Will not recommend going here if you want quick and friendly help. Not a single one of the FIVE workers just standing around unboxing inventory instead of helping customers are friendly. read more

Most incompetent staff of any mobile phone retailer. They assigned the wrong phone numbers to the wrong phones. When I returned the next day to resolve the issue, I was told it was s simple switching of the SIM cards. They switched the SIMs. when I go home to set up the phones, the phones still said they were for the other phone number. Website said they were still open, so I went back a third time. They were not open. The manager was still there, but refused to help. Will be returning tomorrow to return everything (over $500) and closing our account with Verizon. I will be calling the district manager, writing the corporate office, and moving our business to AT&T. read more

My husband and I visited this store a few weeks ago and I just can't shake the experience we had. First, there were two employees helping customers and three employees talking to one another. We had to wait a long time while watching these other employees joke around. If you're not working or on break don't stand in the showroom and converse and not help customers. Once the young lady who was helping us got to us it was evident she was not enjoying her job or possibly she was upset that we weren't younger customers or at least that was the vibe we got. We asked about the keyboard changing on my husband's phone. She said that was probably a result of an update to the phone and there was nothing we could do about that. Then I asked about switching from an Android to an iPhone. She said they would show me the basics on an iPhone and then any additional questions posed to their store would be $30.00 per question. My husband said, "Did I misunderstand you and you said $3.00 per question" and she abruptly said, "No, I said $30.00 per question." We just looked at each other and I said to my husband, "We need to leave this place". I realized that the Samsung update had switched his keyboard to a Samsung keyboard so I switched it back to the Google keyboard and his phone was fine then. Subsequently I went to the TCC Verizon store around the corner and got impeccable service and they were more than happy to help me choose my new phone. I felt respected and not belittled. I can't believe that we have been such long time customers of Verizon and were treated the way we were at the authorized Verizon dealer in our town. Needless to say we will never enter that store again. I can't believe that Verizon is going to start charging $30 per question. Or, is that just for old people? I only wish that there was a way that I could choose zero stars because that is what your company deserves so far as this store is concerned. Thank goodness for TCC Verizon. read more

They tried to talk me into a BOGO phone deal and then come to find out you have to upgrade your plan. The reps did not even know this. I drove 30 minutes to this store to return my device that I purchaed from another store in another state and I had only had the device a week. It had a small dint on it so the sales person said let me ask my manager if we can return it. The manager said no because of the damag then he tried to get me to get it fixed before I return it, that he didn't even actually quote me on he guessed a number. after talking to corporate I found out that they could have taken my phone and was being difficult for no reason but when I tell you the ding was sooo small it was crazy. the customer service was horrible I'd really hate to say that I was turned away because of the color of my skin but when the associate went to ask the manager if he could return my phone for some reason the manager had to look at my husband and I up and down before deciding when he should have been looking at my phone. I did call corporate and they where able to get my phone returned with no problem. but seriously 0 stars don't recommend this store. read more

i came to verizon on june 3rd at around 4, there were 4 employees at this time, 2 were doing absolutely nothing and the other 2 were handling customers. at this time there were about 8 customers. the customer service wasn't there. this isn't a one time thing it has been like this for several years with no fixes. plus one of the employees that wasn't doing anything was wearing a puffer vest in 90 degree weather read more

There was a wait when I got there which is probably due to them being understaffed because a lot of the costumers were treating the staff like trash! The workers I spoke with were kind and relaxed despite having to deal with people who came into the store with bad attitudes. I ended up on the phone w a Verizon rep for an hour (due to an issue on my end) and she was so funny and pleasant, it was honestly enjoyable! I was in the parking lot on this call and I was watching people go in to the store and they looked like they were berating the workers. I felt bad for the Verizon staff honestly. They ended up solving my problem and helping me upgrade on the phone and in the store. It was super easy after the initial problem (my fault) was solved. I hope people are nicer to these workers in the future they are human beings completing a job the way they were trained to, no need to be so mean to them. read more

This particular visit, me and my mom went to the store, mainly because I was having issues with my phone and thought it would be better to speak in person rather than try to call a call center and talk to who know who on the other end. This was my first visit in a while to an actual Verizon store. I remember a few years back, you would enter and someone would greet you at the door and you would be entered into the system, depending on when you arrived and what you needed. Then your name would appear on a screen. Not anymore. Someone still greets you, but what you do not realize is that the greeter is taking a picture of you since there is no more screen that appears with your name on it. It took my mom a while to catch on what was going on. As with our visit, store was crowded and it took employees a tad bit longer to try to find the person that they were looking for, not knowing if customer already left before employee was able to watch them. A note to the wise, employee had told us weekdays are typically better if you need anything in store since the store would not be as crowded. read more

If you're in the Columbia area, go to this Verizon store. I always seem to have issues with Verizon's online chat or phone customer service but have no problems with this store. By far the most helpful and nicest store in the area with so many phone options and also lots of smart home technology. They were able to get my wife switched to a new phone which the online and call services weren't able to do and had the IPhone SE that she wanted in store when the last Verizon store I was in told me it would be a 2 month wait. Jasmine was the most friendly sales rep I've ever worked with at a Verizon store. Would recommend this store to anyone read more

Absolute worse experience with sales person Quavon. Went in the add a line and upgrade. Was told I could get a tablet for $50 one time upfront cost. I specifically asked if the tablet came with a line because I did NOT want to add a line for the tablet. I asked this twice during the transaction and he confirmed that no line was added I could use the tablet with only wifi. This was a lie. When I left the store and checked my bill I was being charged and activation fee for the tablet line and a line fee. In additional the tablet cost was $100 not $50. Went back the same day to return the unopened tablet because I had expressed that's not what I wanted and that's why I asked that upfront and on top of that I was lied to about the cost of the tablet also. Then they charged a restocking fee of $50 for the tablet that had been purchased only hours before and was unopened. Quavon had also added insurance to all my devices and the unwanted tablet. Increasing my bill by 40 for something I did not ask for. I also ended up adding two lines instead of 1 since he said he would waive the second line's activation fee, which he also didn't do. The activation fee was put on my bill including the fee that I had paid upfront in store. Verizon corporate fixed that part at least but I will not be returning to this store. It seems they're more interest in getting their sales numbers up than actually giving customers what they request and answering questions truthfully. read more

My husband purchased a brand new phone for me (at this location) and of course thought that they would be transferring the phone data , etc. from the old phone to the new, as has ALWAYS been done in the more than 15 YEARS we've been with Verizon. he was actually told by some obviously lazy , couldn't be bothered with proper customer service "employee" that "they're not technicians" WTF !!!!
