    The customer service at this store is awful. Jazz the store manager lacks in communication and customer service skills. Very unhelpful.

    I ordered cable last Saturday, May 7, 2022. The Technician came out and hours later the cable went…read moreout in one of the rooms. I called they could not fix it and put in a worked order for Monday. The Technician came out on Monday and did what I call a temporary fix. It went out hours later. I called Cox they could not fix it and said they would seen me a text when it get fix, no text. I called Cox, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, On Thursday they said it was the Contour box and to go to the store and get another one. I did, It did not work I called back on Friday they went through their rebooting. Then decide they would send out a technician on Saturday between the hours of 8 - 10 am. Saturday morning at 7:31 I get a text your appointment today TXT C to confirm I did. another txt put up pets have an adult. Another txt put up pets and an adult present. another tx we confirm your appt. 9:01 am your appt is on hold. text saying Text agent to chat I did. Response was (sorry agent did not get your text). I called Customer Service She said the technician called me 3 times. No call from COX I got (3) calls from a Spillman, Scharm at 8:18 and another call at 8:20 from kitchenplumbing. Not Cox now they suppose to be coming back between the hours of 10am to 12 pm.

Their rating is high, but ALL of their reviews are negative. So I determined they won't be getting my business. Someone else called and I told him exactly this, he then demanded that I read him the negative reviews. He was belligerent with me and I asked to be taken off their list. This morning they called again, as soon as she said "Birch" I (politely) said "let me stop you, based on reviews I've decided to not go with your company. I have asked to be taken off your list, please don't call me again" to which she responded "OK, I'll call you tomorrow!" in an angry way (tomorrow I will just mute her call and let her talk as long as she'd like). I called Birch directly after this experience, I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because the lady I spoke with, Pat, from the Macon office was SO NICE and sounded genuinely irritated that I had been treated so poorly. She told me they use outside telemarketers and would put in a report. Pat, thank you for being a human and a kind lady.

We called several times to be told that everything was in working order and there was nothing they could do. We just went without a website..... We found out when we were severing our ties with Birch that they had lost the company (their vendor) that did their web hosting. I had spoken with that company and they were the ones that told me the reason that we had no capability to use what we had been charged for for 2+ years. THE WORST. I am saving approximately $400.00 a month after finally getting out of our contract. We are a small company. Some of the staff was good, a LOT of them are rude. It's the people behind the scenes (level 2) that were nice, and helpful. After giving the proper notice (90 days) prior to our termination day, they billed us for another month of service and even were so nice as to turn us into collections FOR SERVICES WE NEVER RECEIVED. The explanation was that there is work on their end that has to be done, even if they are not providing service. When I wrote a letter to contest the billing, it was past their policy of '30 days to dispute'. THE WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY 62 YEARS THAT WASN'T AN ALL OUT SCAM.

    Nov 2025 Update:…read more After my Internet only bill hit $100.00/mo :-( , I've been looking for an alternate provider. And, because I only have Internet for my place, it took a bit of research to find another provider. But, once I did, canceling Spectrum service was not easy! I know the CSR has a speil that he has to go through, to try and keep you as a customer (going so far as to offer, 1Gb service for$40.00/mo.; Why couldn't they have offered a discount when I called a few weeks previously asking about it?). But, between that, and asking irrelevant (and, irritating) questions, such as who's my Cellphone provider and, how much I pay, it's ridiculous that it took over 14 minutes to cancel the service. And, on top of that, I have to return the modem and router to either, a Spectrum Store. Or, send the stuff back via, The UPS Store. :-( Though, I did like them, their price increases have gotten out of hand.

So I drove to M'ville today to return the equipment. The person behind the counter informed me they don't take back equipment because they are too small of a store And I have to take it myself to a UPS store. I said I was told on three separate callast to return to ANY spectrum store or UPS store. She refused. Another guy came from the back and was listening and didn't say a word, so he didn't care either. I guess they can't keep the equipment and make a UPS run once a month. So I called Spectrum customer support to tell them what the Milledgeville store is like. He was very polite and said he would file a report but can't make them take the equipment back. He said that several times. I informed him this is a Spectrum problem, not a ME problem. I'm not driving to an ups store just because they are too LAZY to schedule an ups pickup. I then spoke to his supervisor and repeated the story. I said I was about to film myself walking the equipment into the store and leaving it on the counter. My job and responsibility was done at this point. The supervisor said he would schedule a pickup from my house today. I said that's fine. But now I wished I had said to have them pick up the equipment from the Spectrum Store in Milledgeville ga. There is a reason the Milledgeville store is "small". It's because they treat people like this. They don't contact us to give updates lower prices. They don't stay competitive. They could keep customers before they ever leave, but if they leave treat them with respect. Try that. So the people on the phone with Spectrum corporation were very professional and did what they could. But letting the Milledgeville store dictate if they decide to follow Spectrums rules is ridiculous. Give them what they want. They don't want to work. Just shut them down.

He also left all his wire trimming detritus on the floor, wherever it landed. Here's what our yard looks like more than 18 months after installation. My parents had only had Charter for a short time before my dad passed away. When my mom and I went to the local office to change service into her name, Terri helped us quickly and treated us with such kindness and respect. The same day, after business hours, my mom's phone service curiously went out. After speaking with two different "customer service representatives" at the national call line, nothing was resolved and it was recommended that we exchange our modem at the local office. A service call was also made for THREE DAYS LATER. As I was leaving for SC the following day, this was not an option. I wasn't going to leave my recently widowed mother without phone service. So, the following morning I showed up at the local office with modem in hand, and luckily had Terri helping me once again. I was first told that the call center was wrong, and I could not exchange a telephone modem. This has to be done by a technician. She immediately put the wheels in motion to have my mother's phone service repaired that day and assured me a technician would be at the house between 1-3:00. At 2:55, a friendly technician showed up and within 10 minutes, service was restored. As it turns out, the problem was an error made by a previous technician and it was just a fluke that the service went out when it did. It was also something the national CSRs should have been able to help us with over the phone but they were/are obviously inadequately trained, which is distressing. So, the five stars are not so much for Charter as a whole but to the local office in Stockbridge. We are thankful the issue occurred while we were in town so we could help my mom with the resolution. We also thank Terri and recommend a raise for this very kind and compassionate employee who knows how to get the job done.

I'm in the middle of a disaster and my Internet goes off. They tell me they can't even get someone out to see me for a week. How was that supposed to help me? I'm in the middle of a disaster. Not only does the customer service sucks. The Services I supposed to be getting 100% and it's always between 30 and 50%per the technician. if I'm one day late on my bill, they cut me off so how do I cut them off? The reason they treat us like this is because there's no other Services down here. Every day I have to go to a library or some where else with Internet in order to get my work done but they put me on kinetic business account that I'm paying almost $300 a month for and the services to not work, no apologies. No, don't pay this month. No refunds no nothing praying that AT&T gets to our area. This company does not understand how dangerous it is for us to be in this rural area without even emergency communication because of there's no Internet there's no phones how do we call 911 if there's a emergency, no TV for news. Nothing so how is that safe for us? DO NOT GET Kinetic it's like using a plastic cup with a string attached in 2024 it doesn't work not worth your time or money. They should just close their doors. Reporting to Better Business Bureau, FTC and Department of Safety because they are horrible and unsafe.

I would happily give a four star rating...until today. Spectrum gets two stars because of the reliable service and Tamiqua, the rep that was helping me cancel my account. It was clear she was following a script, asking me all sort of demographic information that was not necessary for canceling an account. I eventually asked her to skip the script which she did. She informed me that I would have to pay for the entire billing cycle, which was three additional weeks. I asked her to cancel today and prorate the bill. She said she could not. Tamiqua was wonderful and I give her full credit however Spectrum continues to be a greedy corporation, not really interested in positive client relations.

The lack of listening and lack of providing decent customer service is extreme. Their procedures are inconsistent and vary from month-to-month. This applies to the branch only. I have had spectrum service for nearly a year and I have not been without Internet or phone. If you are in the round rock area and you are obtaining spectrum service, I highly suggest you only work online and have your equipment delivered, because visiting this branch is frustrating and literally a waste of time. I've visited this branch probably a half a dozen times and I have never had good service.
