Bought 6 6volt batteries T2200 for my golfcart on 6/12/2025 for $797.15, We used it two times …read more charged it once. On the 3rd ride, one of the batteries + side exploded from the inside, the nut and bolt still attached to my cable. Now this is a non lifted stock cart, that we drove less than 7 miles on the road. I called today 8/26/2025 well within the warranty to get it exchanged, and was told after sending in pictures, and my date of purchase, that it was not covered. And told me it exploded due to my cable could of been loose. How could it have been loose my cable was still attached to the lug that blow off. I know its only a $119.00 to get a replacement, but its under the warranty. I would not buy a battery here. Just my 2 cent. I am replacing all with trojan Batteries just cant trust then.

Would give 10 stars if I could! My car was having issues cranking this week. I took it to Advanced…read moreAuto Parts but they were struggling with their battery tester. I then took it to O'Reilly's. He tested the battery then had to jump off my car because it wouldn't crank and then said "yep, it's your alternator." $300 later and I bought an alternator. Went to put it on and my positive battery terminal was loose. Tightened it up and no more issues. Went to crank the car to go to work the next morning and it wouldn't crank. I got someone to jump me off and drove an hour away from home to Macon Battery. Neal immediately greeted me and then tested my battery. He said I needed a new battery. He had tested it, taken the old one out, and installed a new one all in less than 10 minutes. My car cranked right up and I was on my way to work. I can now get my money back on the alternator. The battery I bought from here was less expensive than the last one I bought WITH A DISCOUNT at O'Reillys. I told Neal he was my best friend today! Super knowledgeable and very friendly. I will recommend this place to everyone.

I've dealt with O'Reilly's in general and in this store for a few years. In general, I've found…read moretheir parts and batteries to be as good or better than some other stores, I won't mention battery plus, here, as they're a minus in my book. Nationwide chain that honors what I buy in Georgia anywhere in the country. Most recent experience was my car battery died. I rarely have had a battery just up and die. Usually it gives you the standard warnings of tired, a bit slower cranking and signs the battery is getting weaker. Wouldn't crank Monday. I thought I hadn't driven it enough to fully charge it. When I did get it started I headed to the first choice of O'Reilly's to buy a new battery charger as my old one had just about had it. 10/50 amp charger $58 bucks. I didn't think I'd need it for a while but better to buy one now than be stranded and need one. Fast forward from Monday to Wednesday and the car won't crank again. Took it in again and the battery is bad. Now get this. The battery had a three-year free replacement and the warranty expired on that Sunday. So, Monday buying the charger was one day out of Warranty and today was four. The manager honored the warranty and replaced the battery free of charge. If not, that'd be like a $165 for a new battery. Even installed it for me. So, my faith is good service from this company is confirmed by this act which was up to the manager. While I don't buy a lot of car parts, when I do, I will be returning to this store or the O'Reilly chain in general. All in all, I thought that O'Reilly's automotive as "fair and balanced" when they handled my dead battery problem.
