This place is so bad it makes me miss my landline and long for the days of rotary phones. Seriously, their choices for phone cases are slim and none. This place needs an overhaul in the worst way. I made an upgrade to my service of 2 years with Verizon. Initially, they gave me an in store charge and then said that going forward my bill would be set. A week or so later, I noticed the charge I paid in store on my account to be billed again. I called the store to speak with someone and make changes to my account, they told me that I would have to resolve it with the person who set my upgrade up; coincidentally he was out of town and would not be back in time to make changes before my 30 days was up. I spoke with a manager there as well who made false promises to help solve the issue and lower my bill and get rid of the double charge. Later down the line, they continued to add late fees and bills onto what I already communicated that I paid in store and needed to change to be able to afford it going forward. I've reached out multiple times in response to emails and messages I've received to set up payment plans or resolve my balance and every time they tell me l only have one option. This has been the worse experience with sorting out payment and actually speaking with individuals that can assist me. They don't even allow you to call or text Verizon when the phone is disconnected. I'm not allowed to get into my acct to collect screenshots and previous billing. read more

Lie about programs and prices. Been dealing with them since Aug. they told me I could belong to a program and never gave me the credit for and said they didn't get my application I sent it. Send it and they said they would they would submit it and they never did and the lady said that they will give me a credit for January and I got billed anyway and I didn't pay it cause I thought she said they would credit me For it and Just one lie after another and you can't talk to anybody so I'll talk to zombies so disappointed I have stuck with this company. I purchased a new iPhone on September 4, 2023. The experience in the store was good and did not take too long. It was a level of service that would have been good in pre-COVID days. Really good compared to what you usually get these days. My complaint is with Verizon itself. On September 14, I received an e-mail from Asurion, who I had never heard of, welcoming me to Verizon Mobile Protect that I had been signed up for without my knowledge. The cost of this was $17.00 per month and it basically duplicates coverage that you can get from Apple. At $17.00 per month you are probably paying for the wholesale cost of an iPhone in a year's time. After some effort, both online and on the phone with Verizon, I was able to get the service turned off, but I have to wait for my bill to get a refund of the charge for the time between September 4 and September 14. Bottom line. Check your bill every month. Just because you read the paperwork when you buy it, doesn't mean you are safe. read more

Our second stop on the road to activating my son's new phone, after a bad experience at a Victra store. This is a REAL Verizon, like a doctor to Victra's NP. Both can do the job, just one better. Jonathan, our solutions specialist immediately got us a new sim card and helped to activate the new phone. We bought his first phone here and had no problems, so I don't know why we ever strayed. Watched her go off on an old me in front of me because he needed help with a kiosk and then treated me like I was stupid. If you have to deal with this location avoid the girl with fake contacts in her eyes she's the reason I'll be switching to AT&T after 20 years of loyalty to Verizon. read more

Long waits. Insufficient staffing. Don't bother to make an appointment online in advance since they don't honor them. When you arrive for your appointment they just tell you to wait in your car and they put you at the end of the line. They say Corporate rolled out the appointment system when Covid started 2 years ago but they just ignore it. What a waste of time. If you want help in store you are better off going right when they open else your wait can be very long-- an hour or more. read more

I placed an order for an upgrade to my phone from Verizon. Ups indicated it was delivered. They sold my phone with the excuse something was wrong with the order. They placed a new order. Again Ups indicated it had been delivered. They told me again it was not there. I called again and they finally found the phone. I asked to speak to a manager and filled out a complaint online. I came into this particular store after an experience that went BEYOND the limits of insanity. I was grossly disgusted but I wanted to give it another go. I mean, I'm a consumer with proper credit and financial means. So why should I suffer because of insipid customer service?! I walked into this location and even though there was a slight chip, albeit a stylish chip, on my shoulder, I was met with a gentleman named Diego. He took the time to give me info I needed, I gave him my info and in less than - a wait for it- 3 minutes, I was ready to be checked out. I'm talking what took countless calls to pesky customer service agents and the above mentioned location on Union that also needs a SERIOUS overhaul, Diego handled business. I walked out not having to pay a dime, trading in equipment, ordering other items and coming back in a couple of days to purchase numerous iPads for my family. In other words- He was so good?! I'm gonna go back and spend more money and tell others about his customer service as well. I'm sure the other customer services reps are good but Diego is a breakout star! read more

I'm a customer over 15yrs with Verizon & uses their Verizon credit card to pay my monthly bill..I had an issue in the past with non payments & filed a complaint which was resolved with a substantial payment to myself for being over charged several months..I'm now having an issue Nov 2022 Verizon did'nt attempt to receive my monthly payment from the Verizon credit card that I have always used to pay my bill..I have made the payment to the card & have enough money on the card to cover many bills..I also did'nt receive a Dec2022 or Jan2023 bill & was then called & messaged with shut off notices..I tried to explain & even contacted the credit card company & Verizon about the payment & that it's already there on the credit card but they refuse to receive get or accept payment..& cut off & interrupted service on several of my devices for none payment.I have not been able to access my account nor get the needed help in resolving this issue..Another payment which is'nt due nor owed was paid & I'm still being threaten withdisconnecting my account & a reconnect charge...But the money is there on the Verizon credit card waiting to pay but they refuse to access or accept that payment.. read more

I've been frequenting this Verizon location for a few years now. The sales and service staff are always helpful and knowledgeable to the extent that they can be given Verizon's confidential nature of upcoming product releases (which is usually what I'm after: the latest hot device). I only ever ran into one salesperson there who would shoot answers from the hip with guesses. I've not seen him there my last few visits. We have about 10 devices of varying types through Verizon; so, my experience there is relatively thorough. read more

Well, I really wanted to review the company, not just one particular store. Since this is the only store I've been in, they are the lucky receivers of the review. Verizon is my third cell phone provider. The first was Cingular, and I don't have to tell you how awful AT&T is. I lived in an area where hurricanes have ravaged the coast, and parts were going out in the towers. Rather than tell me that, they suggested I buy a new phone, knowing that my service was not going to improve. As luck would have it, I ran into a tech who informed me of the truth, and that he really wished they would stop lying to their customers. That was when I switched to CSpire (then Cellular South). They were reasonably priced, but they did not have a very large calling area and I frequently lost signal when travelling. What I really hated about CSpire was the terribly rude customer service. I try to be polite and realize it isn't the csr's fault, but the call center reps are rude and have a bad attitudes from the minute they pick up the phones. The HTC phone they sold me didn't last a year, and when I called about an upgrade, I found out they changed their contract terms without notifying their customers. If I had to pay to get out of my contract and upgrade, I may as well switch to a more honest company. That is where Verizon came into play. I can't say Verizon's prices are reasonable. Maybe for one phone they are competitive, but when you add a second line, your bill just doubles. There's no real discount for having more than one line. They do, however, give discounts to military veterans and to employees of certain corporations. What I love about them is the helpful and friendly customer service. I had one issue with the first phone I received. It was fixed right away, and that was the only time I visited this particular store. Twice in the past, I've had issues with not receiving a signal for a few hours, which they promptly and eagerly looked into, resolved, and followed up. I understand towers will go out from time to time. It's the way the Verizon customer service employees handled the matter that totally wins me over. They are so wonderful, honest and eager to help! Great customer service is worth a few extra dollars in my book! I would highly recommend switching to Verizon Wireless if you are not happy with your current provider. read more

Always, and without exception, an unpleasant experience. Nothing in the store has a real price and everything is part of some other rip-off or double talk. With any luck they will be like Blockbuster Video in 20 years-- completely out of business. In much of the world a full service cell phone is about $20 a month, which is what the price will be here in about 20 years after the competition marches in. Be prepared to be ripped-off and have them act like you should enjoy it. read more

just had the most amazing customer service ever from Verizon Wireless. I had a strange number calling me very day with some automated messaging and then hanging up. The Verizon Rep immediately started a conference call with me and called the number so i could here what happens. Turned out to be a bogus company pretending to be Verizon. She apologized for the inconvenience, blocked the number from calling me and reported it. I feel very satisfied :) read more

Avoid this store due to exceptionally rude and unformed staff. Went into the store today for the simple purchase of a jetpack, was waited on by an individual named Steph and spend a wholly dissatisfying ten minutes with him. He said he had a limited supply and when I asked to see the device I was interested in he said he couldn't take it out of the box and show it to me. Steph then told me since since I would be using the jetpack in an area with questionable coverage, that I need to upgrade my plan? I asked him to pull up my plan online so we could discuss and he said it would just be easier if I did that at home on my own computer. Finally he said I could save money if I made the purchase at home versus at a store. Clearly he does not like his job or possess the people skills to be interacting with the public. Mentioned this to the manager Dre and all he did was shrug and say he was a "new hire". read more

I was in and out within 10 minutes on a Sunday. The gentleman who helped me never pressured me about anything. He quickly set up the phone I wanted without trying to get me to buy an expensive one. He mentioned a case would be a good idea (justified suggestion seeing as the one I brought in was shattered), and simply brought a bunch out for me to look at while he was setting up my phone. No hassle, no pressure. Very good experience. read more

I came into the store today to receive AWFUL customer service. I knew exactly what I wanted, and it was just an upgrade. I was eligible to upgrade and knew exactly what phone I wanted, size, GB, etc. the sales rep essentially scammed me out of my trade in value and then refused to fix it unless I left the new phone in store for 3 days. After several calls with customer service, he then lied to my family to try to make himself look better, and continued to try to scam us out of more money. He was definitely just for the sale and not for the customer. This was a ridiculous experience and I will NEVER go back to this Verizon location again. read more
