Major drawback is that the shopping center is not ADA friendly; meaning no handicap parking in the center lot. Ramp for wheelchair access is on the far end. Came in due to phone battery port no longer working .. We were checked in at the door. The ladies were quick and helpful. There were three check-in people working. Melissa was the manager on duty. She was coordinating flow and checking -in with everyone . Morris, rep at Apple Store, took the phone to the back to be fixed. The port was working once he got it back. He left it on the charger to verify. He was customer friendly and attentive. He wanted to make sure that phone was charging properly before we left. He asked were we in a hurry and all. read more

I love my phone! I've had a version of the iPhone pretty much since the first one. I still have all of the old ones to in my junk drawer. I haven't even thought of getting any other phone. In fact, I loathe android phones and tablets with a great deal of special intense hatred. My Dad insisted on getting android phones and tablets and then would beg me to fix it when it got infected with crap he downloaded. Hate android stuff!!! I begged him to stop with them, and then he died, and I don't have to help him any longer. I am team iPhone all the way until I die! I also have a wife and four kids, all iPhones. Most of us have Apple Watches too. Hopefully my kids won't bitch about my lack of wit when it comes to technology when I am gone. Another reason I am sticking with Tim! This is where it gets sideways.... I hate Mac computers. I had a MacBook Pro for a while and I could not stand the IOS quirks. It was like they intentionally did everything backwards/opposite of Windows. It was so bad, I paid some dude I met at a Taco Bell to partition the hard drive on the MBP and install Windows on one side of it. After that I may have booted the IOS side twice. Now let me say this.... That was the baddest ass Windows computer I have ever owned! I wish I still had it but my old boss confiscated it when he fired me. That's ok, I cooked the drive before I gave him a blank disk brick laptop. So that he didn't any of the info he wanted. Asshat took my phone that day too. Also cleaned and bricked. He went bankrupt a couple years later. Anyway.... I love the Apple Store. The real value is in the knowledge of the teams here and their honest approach to helping you. I came in to get a new phone recently and was let down with how large the phones are now. I have an 12 mini and the battery had gotten bad. I complained about having to get a bigger phone and the associate said "why not just get a new battery for your mini?". Great idea, that's just what I did! Overall, my family members and I have been quite satisfied with the service that we've received here over the past many years that Apple has had stores within Germantown. Are Apple products a bit more expensive than comparable, competing devices? Yes. But it's the mainly positive customer service experiences that we've received from the employees that keep us returning here. I mean, this store will even help customers who come in with products that were purchased elsewhere from competing retailers. We visited the Apple Store to purchase a screen protector and a new case for our iPhones. There were several people with Apple shirts on, but no one approached us. They were engrossed with their phones or each other. When we asked a group of three employees if they could assist us, the guy pointed to the "online orders" area where a line of five were already waiting. I asked if anyone else could help get us the screen protector we needed and it was an adamant "NO". Horrible experience. read more

I came to Apple looking for a PENCIL for my iPad. I have the iPad pro(11in)(4th gen) I told the worker that, and she tried to sell me a $140 pen. However my boyfriend was telling me they have one for $79. I don't need a super fancy pen and I asked the worker if that the $140 she was trying to sell me, is that ONLY pen compatible to my iPad. She said YES bc blah blah blah.. so I walked out. My boyfriend then sends me the link to the pencil FROM THE APPLE STORE that costs $79, and in the description it says it is compatible to my iPad. I walk back into the store and I spoke to someone else and basically was trying to tell me the same thing about this $140 pencil but then i told her that on Apple it shows a pencil for $79 that is compatible. And then she was trying to tell me that maybe the other lady didn't know. Smh. Don't rely on their knowledge here, definitely do your own research beforehand so you don't end up overpaying for stuff you don't even want or need. read more

I have been an Apple user most of my life. Went to the Apple Store Saddle Creek Germantown TN yesterday to purchase a new MacBookPro. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately and told to stand by the MacBook Pro table and someone would be with me shortly. That someone never came. The store was busy and very UNDER STAFFED. When I walk into a store and say I want to make a purchase for a couple of thousand dollars, I do not expect to wait more than 10 minutes. But I did and longer and I ultimately left. On the way out I told the person that greeting me that no one helped me and the store lost a nice size sales. He acted like he could have cared less and I just left. After considering my experience I have determined a Mac many not be for me. I am considering looking on-line today for a PC that is upgradable and can keep pace with the fast pace changes in Technology but I love MACs. Finally someone took my information and informed me to have a seat. I waited for around one hour without receiving any type of follow up. I finally asked someone how much longer before I receive any type of service. I used to LOVE to hang out at the Apple store. Now, it is always overcrowded with staff that nine times out of ten is aloof but probably doesn't know what they are doing and they certainly haven't been trained to provide good customer service. If you order something online and just need to pick it up plan on a good 20 min to complete the process, even with the magic appointment time you must now have for "safety." If you need something they actually have sitting out I would suggest you use the Apple Store app to check out yourself. BTW, Apple Genius is a misnomer at this store, based on my experiences with them over the years. I limit my use to hardware only and only hardware I cannot do myself. Full disclosure, I am a 30 year IT professional. What irritates me the most when interacting with the so-called geniuses has been, I've typically done all the basic troubleshooting and probably a good deal of advanced troubleshooting, before I go in. When they finally get to me (rarely at my assigned appointment time) I've provided the details of all that, however, they still treated me like I had done nothing and knew nothing which just wasted my time. When we got past all that I figured out they didn't know any more than I. So, as I wrote above skip the Genius Bar and try to find a friend who is an Apple geek. read more

The customer service here is great, I will say it all depends who you get, some of the employees aren't very friendly but majority of the time you will not have to deal with any unfriendly employees, I'd say just some are straight to the point but mostly they love starting conversations with you while helping you out but at the same time they can get very hectic especially for a Saturday. The employees are very well trained and are friendly, helpful and ready to do whatever they need to do to help. First impression is wow. Nice new store larger than the last one. I challenge you to walk in and last 60 seconds before someone ask how the help you. The service here is incredible. I am assuming you come in with real issues they can help you with and if you have a broken phone it helps to have Apple Care. I came I. Today with no appointment, "also a good idea", but my wife broke her display so took a shot and stopped in. A beautiful young girl came over to help and put in the order for me. Come back in an hour and a half to pick it up. I a me back and on my way with her new phone. I do love the Apple care. Never any issues unless you violated the warranty somehow. Nothing too exciting to report, but I had to get my laptop screen repaired...again. Because of COVID, they have different protocols in place. You have to make an appointment to be seen for anything because they're not allowing anyone other than employees into the store. They are sticking to appointment schedules, have hand sanitizer stations outside, and have the guests waiting in line with a distance between each other. I felt comfortable being there and receiving service. I hope that I don't have to go back - because that means I'm spending too much money - but will feel safe doing so. read more

Although they were extremely busy, I was greeted right away and someone was able to assist me with my order that I was coming by to pick up. If you are unable to make an appointment, please try to be patient. 3. Upon entering and finding roughly 20 to 30 customers in the store, I was asked what I was coming in for today. I responded that I wanted to purchase a laptop for my daughter. The young lady asked if I had an appointment. I responded no, but I knew exactly what I wanted. I was told I could browse, but due to short staffing, I could come back tomorrow or purchase online. I visited this location at the release of the new IPhone 8 & 8Plus and it was pretty packed. The store was well prepared for the launch as they had different lines according to what you were there for. I was in the pre order line and that went very smoothly. I live close to the Apple Store on West Street They have great and knowageable Staff to assist with orders, accessories, trouble shooting and education. Always pleasant and help yo expedite services. Verizon will upgrade you or send out yet another reconditioned phone. My husband's second phone this year won't hold a charge. Apple Tech Support couldn't find hardware issues using diagnostics (so he could get new one) but made some software and usage recommendations like changing setting to fetch every 15 min instead of push. I've been to the apple store now a few times. I rate it three stars because overall I've had some good experience but I've also had some bad experiences here. Pros: 1.For the most part their genius bar is useful. I took my MacBook to be fixed on Monday and it was fixed by Wednesday. No problems, everything works! 2. The store is really clean and they have a nice setup. 3. Products are nicely on display and someone usually always ask if you need help. Cons: 1. You can't just drop off something to fix without making an appointment, regardless if you already had a prior appointment and they have your information logged. 2. Some of the staff aren't on the same page as others and really don't know what they are doing. 3. Some staff look as though they don't want to be there. 4. It is always busy! 5. Needed to replace my husbands Iphone 6 screen and they put a white screen instead of black screen on and I had to wait an additional hour for them to fix their mistake! Overall, it's an apple store. I have been to better! However, sadly it literally is the only apple store in the Memphis area so unless I plan on driving hours to the Little Rock AR or the Ridgeland MS location, I have no choice and I will continue to go there! read more
