In early June, 2026, I stopped at the Verizon Store in Milledgeville, GA, 31061. I brought in a Pixel 9 Pro XL to use. I had the phone from Spectrum, but it was completely paid off. Spectrum had not unlocked the phone to use on a different carrier. The Verizon representative tried different things, but I needed to have the phone unlocked. I explored buying a phone from Verizon, but decided to use my Pixel 9 Pro XL since it was already paid off. I told them that I would be back on Monday to complete everything. In the meantime, I researched other carriers and decided to use Google Fi. I never did return to the store and I never unlocked the phone with Spectrum. I opted, instead, to purchase a new phone from Spectrum using my older phone as a trade in as it was already paid for. I checked my home mailbox today (07/24/26). I check my home mailbox about once per month as I use a Post Office box for all of my mail. I found a statement from Verizon for phone service that I never completed signing up for. It had been about a month since I had last checked the box, so the bill was already past due (due 07/14/26). I am now on the hook for over $100.00 for a phone service that was going to cost me $30.00 a month. This is, in my opinion, fraud. This fraud that was perpetraited by a Verizon sales representative. I spent almost an hour on the phone being shuffled back and forth between customer service and Verizon's fraud department. I spoke with customer service first, they transferred me to the fraud department, who transferred me back to customer service, who transferred me back to the fraud department. I then spent over an hour in the Verizon store. My account was cancelled, but they left it up in the air as to whether they were going to cancel the amount I owed. read more

Terrible experience at this store. Went to the store because my SIM card was not working in my new phone and I needed a replacement. Older man working spent 30 minutes fiddling with my old and new phones, connecting them via wires and trying all of the things I told him I had already tried. Randomly, after those thirty minutes, he just goes "well I've done everything I can do, you'll have to go somewhere else." I explained that my SIM card was broken and that I have no way of contacting anyone until it is fixed. He just said "I don't know what to do. You need to call customer service." After I just explained that THE PHONE WAS BROKEN, so I can't make any calls. I told him that I had no way of calling customer service, and he just shrugged and told me to leave. His supervisor was standing right next to us when it happened and did nothing to help. Terrible experience; avoid this store and take the longer drive somewhere else. read more

Went in to the Milledgeville store and Briana Clark immediately asked what I needed. I was trying to sync my watch to my phone. There were some difficulties so she called their customer support. While on the phone with the agent she helped another customer with his tablet cover, a lady with issues of syncing phone to car navigation and another trying to transfer data from one phone to another. She masterfully helped everyone at the same time without missing a beat. It was so refreshing seeing a young person who can multi-task and be pleasant and helpful. Absolutely the worst Verizon I have ever been in. I had lost my phone and needed to know what to do.This was the closest store. I walked in, to awful loud music (not the kind that should be played in a public business) and looked at a herd of people waiting. One guy who looked like he worked there was walking around inspecting the displays, and sure enough, he worked there. I said I just had a quick question, that I had lost my phone. He quickly and rudely proclaimed he could not track it, I would have to call some number on a piece of paper he threw at me, and ignored me. No questions about whether it was insured, what kind of phone, suggestions about suspending service, etc. I will continue to drive to Watkinsville where I have always had much better service, even though it is an hour and a half drive for me! read more

I had been a Verizon customer for over ten years until I recently switched carriers. During that time we paid over $20,000 for their services. I stopped by their Milledgeville store to see if they would, as a courtesy, transfer data from my old phone to me new device. They said no. You be the judge. I can say that if I switch again, it will not be back to verizon. read more

I am giving this store a one star only because there is no option of a 0. I am a college student down here in Milledgeville and I went in to upgrade my phone. Usually I go to the location in cumming but since I was here there was no point in going home when I could get the job done. First I would like to say that I have never had and issue at my normal verison store and all visit were very pleasant. I made an appointment to get my phone and when I came in I told the man that I was not the account holder and so he told me that he could not do the transaction over the phone like we have done before anymore because of a change in policy. So he told me to get my mom to call customer support and get me added as a holder. I called my mom and told her and she asked if she could do that from the app and he told her no. When another women overheard him saying that she came over and politely told me that she could and wrote down step by step instructions on how to do it. This lady was not at all my problem. After an hour goes by of the app and website not working we finally got it fixed. The entire time I was waiting I was trying to prepare to transfer all of my stuff over and decide which phone to get. Every time I asked a question that had nothing to do with my policy or account I was either told by this man "I don't know" or "I can't tell you any of this information because you're not a holder" when it had absolutely nothing to do with my account. He also talked to me about how I was in school and after a while of trying to figure this out asked if i was even over 18. At this moment I noticed that I was being majorly looked down on because I was young when in the past I have gone to get my own phone on my own and no questions were asked. It was obvious that he thought I was stupid and young too young to be there on my own. When we finally got my phone picked and ready to go he started to tell me about a deal about how I could get x amount off but I couldn't get my phone that day and I would not be able to take my old phone home with me to transfer everything over. I decided not to do this because I would have no way of getting my phone transferred because I had to bring my phone home with me to do so. He started to argue with me and told me he "couldn't believe i wasn't doing this". I got into a very big argument with him because at this point I was done. I finally told him off after a hour and a half of being there because I had been there so long and honestly I wanted to get out of those doors as quickly as possible and never have to walk in again. I was so angered when I got out because verison has never treated me like this. I work in the restaurant industry and everyone should know the customer is always right and you should never second guess them or none the less argue with them on what they want. There is so much more details that happened as well but honestly even writing about this is making me mad and I can for sure say I will never be back in this location again and if my mom (the policy holder) would have been there to see this we would not be a customer of verison anymore. read more

I have had two experiences going to the Verizon store in Milledgeville, and both of them were very good. They were helpful in reviewing my current plan and making changes that saved me about 80$ a month and increased my data. I normally do most of my transactions through the website and had recently made some changes over the phone and they never even mentioned to me that there were newer options for my plan... I ended up getting a iPad Pro through the store with the monthly payment plan, and still my monthly bill is less than it was before... And the guy I worked with was very cool and knew what he was doing... The second time there we went because my sons phone was having trouble with the sim card. We originally went to a different location and the guy looked briefly at the phone and suggested that we return the phone and get a new one through the warranty, which would have been a real hassle. So we figured we would try out the store in Milledgeville before we did anything. The guy there was a big help; he quickly checked out the phone and said it was probably the card, not the phone. He put new sim card in and ran all of the changes through the system, and we walked out with his phone working like new again... So that was two different guys in the store, and i would go back to either of them without a question. read more

Not impressed. Got new iPhone 7 and it locked us out since we went to store to get help with unlock of old phone and transfer. They looked at it and said we would have to drive to simply Mac in Macon for them to unlock. Got out in car.... clicked back up this phone and it all worked.
