In early June, 2026, I stopped at the Verizon Store in Milledgeville, GA, 31061. I brought in a…read morePixel 9 Pro XL to use. I had the phone from Spectrum, but it was completely paid off. Spectrum had not unlocked the phone to use on a different carrier. The Verizon representative tried different things, but I needed to have the phone unlocked. I explored buying a phone from Verizon, but decided to use my Pixel 9 Pro XL since it was already paid off. I told them that I would be back on Monday to complete everything. In the meantime, I researched other carriers and decided to use Google Fi. I never did return to the store and I never unlocked the phone with Spectrum. I opted, instead, to purchase a new phone from Spectrum using my older phone as a trade in as it was already paid for. I checked my home mailbox today (07/24/26). I check my home mailbox about once per month as I use a Post Office box for all of my mail. I found a statement from Verizon for phone service that I never completed signing up for. It had been about a month since I had last checked the box, so the bill was already past due (due 07/14/26). I am now on the hook for over $100.00 for a phone service that was going to cost me $30.00 a month. This is, in my opinion, fraud. This fraud that was perpetraited by a Verizon sales representative. I spent almost an hour on the phone being shuffled back and forth between customer service and Verizon's fraud department. I spoke with customer service first, they transferred me to the fraud department, who transferred me back to customer service, who transferred me back to the fraud department. I then spent over an hour in the Verizon store. My account was cancelled, but they left it up in the air as to whether they were going to cancel the amount I owed.

Terrible experience at this store. Went to the store because my SIM card was not working in my new…read morephone and I needed a replacement. Older man working spent 30 minutes fiddling with my old and new phones, connecting them via wires and trying all of the things I told him I had already tried. Randomly, after those thirty minutes, he just goes "well I've done everything I can do, you'll have to go somewhere else." I explained that my SIM card was broken and that I have no way of contacting anyone until it is fixed. He just said "I don't know what to do. You need to call customer service." After I just explained that THE PHONE WAS BROKEN, so I can't make any calls. I told him that I had no way of calling customer service, and he just shrugged and told me to leave. His supervisor was standing right next to us when it happened and did nothing to help. Terrible experience; avoid this store and take the longer drive somewhere else.

Phone wouldn't work from my mom's home so we returned it. They then told me that the only refund that we would receive is for the phone itself. I told the employee that the young man that sold it to me never stated that. She didn't seem to care. A few minutes later the same guy that sold me the phone walked in and I was so glad to see him. I thought that he would try to help figure out the misunderstanding, but instead he just stated only the phone can be refunded. They wouldn't even refund the case that I purchased with the phone, If they would have told me this before I purchased it, I would have left it in the store. They refunded me the 29.00 for the phone...but I lost $30.00 for service, $ 20.00 for activation fee and other monies for this and that. All together they took about $75.00 from me on a phone that had a 7 day return policy. Total rip off. Honesty before selling a phone may help to make it a better place. Never recommended it to anyone.

Had to go outside and look for a tower because it was T-Mobile so they give good deals, but have terrible service my friends had T-Mobile and didn't have no service this weekend while my AT&T had service without Wi-Fi.!

Save yourself the headache--skip this store entirely and just have support mail your equipment or send a technician. A formal complaint has been filed, and if the visiting technician confirms their equipment came from this store, a second complaint will be submitted for blatant dishonesty.
