But, after my Cable bill (Internet Only) hit triple digits (*$&#$&-$) a few months ago, another Kinetic D2D Salesman stopped by early last week. A far cry, and day/night difference between the 2, as the previous D2D guy (from 2022) tried to set me up with AT&T Cellular service WITHOUT telling me about it (evil!!)! So, after chatting with the guy, thinking about it for a week (managed to catch my neighbor, whose had it for about a year now), and because of the $39.99 Introductory price (saved $99.00 Install), AND, having my own Router (saved $9.99/mo) and Security Suite ($4.99-$19.99/mo) AND, having Autopay from my Checking Account ($6.99 {$4.99+$2.00 Ser Charge/mo), I'm saving boocoo bucks each month over the Cable Co.! :-) So, 2 days ago (Thursday), I sent a text to the D2D guy. And, after chatting a bit, I was lucky enough to get Fiber Optics installed today (Saturday); just 2 days later! 8-) Early this morning, I got an automated text that the tech would be here between 10:45 and 12:45. :-) But, around 08:30, the tech sent me a text, asking if it would be OK to start earlier. After asking what time, he replies, 10 minutes. 8-o 8-) We had a little bit of a problem getting my new Router to sync up with my devices (phone and laptop). So, the tech fiddled some (not sure what he did) and, got it to working (he saved me from having to rent one of theirs)! So, I definitely give their people 5 Stars. But, because the installation point had to be in my bedroom, :-( , I can only give them 4 Stars. Thankfully, the green lights are small and, nowhere near as bright as those blue lights are. Finally, I got most of my devices (old PC can't connect via Wi-Fi) up and running smoothly. Am definitely digging it! Insofar as improved speeds, some pages load noticably faster. Some, no change (due to the site's set speed).

They have an unburied "temp" line running through our yard, and two of my neighbors yard, and after multiple calls to have them bury it, move it, to no avail, and constant outages - we and all my neighbors have moved on to something else....Yet we are still being billed. Called them, or attempted to call them today and their own phone lines are not working!!! There was so much more I could write, way too much. Don't waste your time!!

Their T MOBILE phone stayed on SOS mode all weekend because it was with T-Mobile couldn't send a text. They Couldn't do anything. Had to go outside and look for a tower because it was T-Mobile so they give good deals, but have terrible service my friends had T-Mobile and didn't have no service this weekend while my AT&T had service without Wi-Fi.!

Their rating is high, but ALL of their reviews are negative. So I determined they won't be getting my business. Someone else called and I told him exactly this, he then demanded that I read him the negative reviews. He was belligerent with me and I asked to be taken off their list. This morning they called again, as soon as she said "Birch" I (politely) said "let me stop you, based on reviews I've decided to not go with your company. I have asked to be taken off your list, please don't call me again" to which she responded "OK, I'll call you tomorrow!" in an angry way (tomorrow I will just mute her call and let her talk as long as she'd like). I called Birch directly after this experience, I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because the lady I spoke with, Pat, from the Macon office was SO NICE and sounded genuinely irritated that I had been treated so poorly. She told me they use outside telemarketers and would put in a report. Pat, thank you for being a human and a kind lady.

We found out when we were severing our ties with Birch that they had lost the company (their vendor) that did their web hosting. I had spoken with that company and they were the ones that told me the reason that we had no capability to use what we had been charged for for 2+ years. THE WORST. I am saving approximately $400.00 a month after finally getting out of our contract. We are a small company. Some of the staff was good, a LOT of them are rude. It's the people behind the scenes (level 2) that were nice, and helpful. After giving the proper notice (90 days) prior to our termination day, they billed us for another month of service and even were so nice as to turn us into collections FOR SERVICES WE NEVER RECEIVED. The explanation was that there is work on their end that has to be done, even if they are not providing service. When I wrote a letter to contest the billing, it was past their policy of '30 days to dispute'. THE WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY 62 YEARS THAT WASN'T AN ALL OUT SCAM.
