    They misled me on the services provided by Verizon and then were unable to help me cancel and refund the fees for a service I never used.

This last week I have reached out both by the Chat site and by phoning several different DISH customer service numbers, both to no avail. The Chat site agent "chatted" briefly about my inquiry as to "when" we might expect the return of these channels then directed me to connect to a technician which would happen after I paid a $5 fee. REALLY ? So I then tried to call several different times to DISH customer service numbers only to get a recording telling me my wait time to talk to a "real" person would be 45 minutes !!!! I could put a "hold call" on which I then would be notified when they could talk to me but both times that NEVER happened !!!!!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !! I just hope I can reach someone to let them know when we CANCEL our DISH non-service ! So many better options available out there.

I did get an invoice with the previous unpaid payment in there, which I paid in full. In a couple days after, the service was discontinued without a notice of the date it will be interrupted, without any call or notice of the specific date of the discontinue of service. I called and was charged $15 to continue the service for a couple more days until they got the new payment. They did not believe me that the payment was on the way; and that is after 30 years of paying without complaining of their increased fees. They treat their customers terribly.

Well, it's quite simple: You can never, ever trust that what you're being told by a customer service/sales rep is correct/complete. If you don't know what to ask, you can get screwed. You can call three different times, talk to three different people, and get different info from each one. Wait times to speak to a rep can be very long, and God help you if the rep who finally answers can't help you - and that's often the case. When you get transferred, you'll have to explain the entire situation all over again...each time you get transferred. That alone can turn the calmest, most peaceful of souls into a raving lunatic. The two-star rating is for average internet and horrific customer service.

Forget you and boot you off save your money. You're better off going with T-Mobile or any other company. I highly highly suggest you do not go for AT&T. They are not worth it. They're not worth the time or the headache. so if you have very important work or home work of any kind that requires Internet, do not use AT&T. They are straight trash.

I have been tricked big-time into getting "Faster Internet Service" through these scam artists. I was told that my internet would be twice as fast as my previous internet... and it turns out it is three times as slow. The kickers? I am locked into a 3 year contract that I cannot get out of, I am paying $350 a month vs the $150 I was paying for faster internet, and finally I am not forced to buy another internet service and just use this for our VOIP lines. So not only do I have to pay for another internet, I have to do this for three years. They have given us nothing but trouble since we started, never return our multiple calls or emails. The second we signed the contract, everything changed and they left us for dead. This company company has an excellent sales force... and thats about it. Nothing to back them up. In less than three months we wanted to cancel the service and we were told that we would have to pay $14,000 to get out of our contract, or the full amount of the term. We are a upstart company, and the price was significantly more than we could afford for what they actually did. The call clarity of the phone calls is a joke, and internet speed is incredibly slow. We have been told on multiple occasions that they would be happy to double our internet speed, with no help to call clarity, for an additional $250 a month. Another fun part, is trying to get a hold of the customer support line. I am typically on hold for 45 minutes. If these people contact you, run.

However, visiting your local cell phone store can either be a nightmare from hades or the best experience ever. For myself, it was the latter of the two. Megan, and the staff at this store were absolutely amazing. Megan, came out and asked how she could help me, and I explained that I wanted to upgrade to the new iPhone 15. She was able to pull up my old account information, and she even gave me the best unlimited plan that Verizon current has. Now I can visit neighboring Canada to visit family members and not worry about roaming charges. Likewise, I can now also send text messages to friends in Mexico City and Toronto without any fees. That being said, the staff at this store made my changeover absolutely effortless, transferred all of my data and contacts to the new phone in 20 minutes. The part I liked the best is how Megan, and the guy who set-up my new phone, took their time and explained to me all the ins and outs of my new plan. This was great customer service all the way. I highly recommend this corporate store over any local dealers.

Then they informed me they don't even have anything. They say they are going to refund me. Say they are grabbing the receipt and it took 15 minutes! Waste of my time even coming. You think if you're an assistant manager you would know how to do your job.
