They misled me on the services provided by Verizon and then were unable to help me cancel and refund the fees for a service I never used.

Best Verizon store I've ever received help from. Brian, the assistant manager, was great!

However, Dorian was very pleasant and professional while assisting me. He exhausted all of his options & made sure to put the customer first! He followed up with me at a later date to try and get all the kinks ironed out. This isn't my local store but due to the great service provided by Dorian, I wouldn't hesitate to drive the extra distance to get top the notch service that he provided. I really hope his store sees this review. It's not too often that you come across great customer service. I didn't give 5 stars because I was super limited on the device choices and accessory selection. Either way, I am still willing to spend my money at this store.

In order to do this they required that I purchase their bundle deal which I was told would save me some cash. $150 for a new wireless charger, screen protector, case, and the taxes on the new phone. So I went ahead and there were no issues. The sales person went ahead and without asking me applied the screen protector and case. Later that day, we looked up the prices for the items included in the bundle. We were not happy. The chargers we got could be found easily for about $25 and they were marked up to $60 dollars. Same incredible markups for the case and the screen protectors. This wasn't a deal at all on the accessories. We went in the next day and wanted to return the accessories. They took everything back except the screen protectors because they said they had to be like new. That would be fine if they had given me the screen protectors and didn't go ahead and un-package them and install them without asking me nor informing me that this would make them non-returnable. Instead, the store manager told me that I should have stopped the person from doing it. How on earth I was supposed to know to do this is beyond me. I argued with the guy for about an hour, telling him that if they are not going to take the items back, they should at least let the customer know that their "courtesy" voids the return window. They acknowledged that they didn't let me know; they acknowledged that they should have told me; yet they wouldn't honor their mistake and give me a refund. The whole thing was sketchy and I get the feeling the "courtesy" is done purposefully so they can refuse to refund items when customers find out they are being charged over three times the normal amount for an item.

I don't usually write reviews of my purchase experiences, however, after the horrific experience…read morethat I had at the Victra/Verizon store on Pontiac Trail in South Lyon, I feel that I need to warn other potential customers. Based on the number of one-star reviews, I am not the only one that has had a bad experience at this store. On May 5th I went to the Victra/Verizon store on Pontiac Trail in South Lyon to inquire about a new phone to replace my Samsung Galaxy S9. The salesperson convinced me to purchase a new Samsung Galaxy S26. He printed out a quote for the new phone and service that was very close to my currently monthly bill ($120/month). With an initial payment of $274, he would transfer all the information from my old phone to the new phone and would have it ready in about an hour. However, when I got home later that day, I had several emails from Verizon that stated my new monthly fee was going to be $160/month. The next morning (May 6th), I called the store and left a message for the salesperson to call me back so I could understand the discrepancy. He never returned my call. On May 7th, I went back to the store to discuss the difference between what he quoted me and what Verizon showed in my account. He assured me that the difference was because Verizon had not yet applied the promotional discounts. On May 9th, I received another email from Verizon that showed that my new monthly bill would be as much as $170. I called Verizon customer service and spoke to Fae to understand what was going on. She walked me through the bill estimate line by line and explained each and every charge. Below is a list of changes that we made to my account: 1. The Victra salesperson gave me a 5G internet router and told me that all I needed to do was simply replace my old 4G router and that I would get better service for free. However, when I contacted Verizon they told me 5G internet and router were going to be an additional $25/month charge on top of the 4G service that I currently have. Therefore, I cancelled the 5G service and was instructed to return the router to the nearest UPS store. 2. The Victra salesperson signed me up for Cloud storage which I didn't want or request. I cancelled the Cloud storage saving me $7/month. 3. The Victra salesperson also signed me up for Verizon protection which I didn't want or request. I cancelled the Verizon protection saving me $19/month. 4. The Victra salesperson told me that the second phone line/number was free as part of a promotion. Verizon was going to charge me $55/month. I cancelled the second line. By the time the Verizon customer service representative corrected all his mistakes, my monthly fee for the new phone and service is going to be $61/month. On top of everything above, they sold me a charger (which I did not need or request) for my new phone for $37. I have several charges for my old phone that work just fine and I can buy them from Amazon for $10 each. If you want to make sure that you are getting the best deal call or visit a true Verizon store and go through your bill line by line to make sure that you are not being charged for extras that you don't want or need. Bottom line: DO NOT BUY A PHONE OR ANYTHING FROM VICTRA.
