I called Verizon about an upgrade but said I did not want to increase my bill. I was told no problem. I can get 3 new phones and my bill will stay the same. I was told ignore the paperwork I will be able to add the discounts after. I waited and waited. When I got the increased bill I called and told them I was promised no bill increase. They told me they will review the call and get back to me in 24-48 hours. This did not happen. When I called again I was told you are now outside of returns and we are not going to do anything. Verizon is just a bunch of liars and thieves. I have been with Verizon for over 22 years and they lied to me and refused to honor what was said. Terrible morals and ethics read more

Cannot say enough about the service we received from Johnathon at this store. He spent at least a hour with 3 of us knowing we were going to Costco to purchase our phones because they were so much cheaper. Gave of lots of useful info and did a lot of plan comparison to help us make a decision that was the best for US and not necessarily for them. Will go back to this store until something happens to change my mind. read more

Rude and condescending staff. Sales rep spoke down to me the entire time and acted like I was wasting his time. I was looking to move from a family plan to my own individual plan due to high personal data usage, and he basically insulted me and questioned why I would even need so much data. He asked me if I knew how to use wifi. When he quoted me my monthly bill he added "but I assume you'll find that too expensive." Buddy, you have no idea what I make. Then he said "there will also be some up front costs due to credit." At this point I felt personally offended and so I informed him that my score was in the 700's and he just said "Sure." Tip: when you work off of commission, you shouldn't insult your customer. Gladly taking my money to AT&T or Sprint. Only redeeming factors are that it's close to my house, and that I do like Verizon as a whole. Such a shame this guy was a jerk. read more

We had been wanting to switch from T Mobile for awhile, so I decided to check on Yelp for some reviews on customer experience from some of our local stores. We live in Brownstown, but I noticed this store had a high rating, in particular with customers who dealt with Brandon, so we decided to make the trip out , and I have to say we were so glad we did! Brandon not only lived up to his Yelp review's, he exceeded them!! I have previously been a manager of a T Mobile store for 5 years and know the pressures of a busy store especially late Friday night, but Brandon was awesome on all levels! Professional, great product knowledge, and he went above and beyond, giving us a great customer experience. I would not hesitate for a moment recommending this store and Brandon to anyone. POOR SERVICE AND INCOMPETENT PEOPLE The employees at this store will say anything to make the sale including lying to your face and giving you false information. I recently went into this store the other day to upgrade to a new phone and by the time I left I quickly found out that the new phone I purchased (the GALAXY S10 5G) was not only a downgrade from my previous phone ( DROID TURBO 2) due to the lack of features, slower download speeds, dead pixels, and corrupted app data, but then the associate assured me several times that I would have the 5G service as soon as it was made available. Come to find out 3 days later while at another verizon store trying to work out some of the bugs on this 1200 dollar piece of crap, that he lied straight to my face and that the phone I purchased wasn't even compatible with my plan and that I would have to upgrade my plan and essentially double my monthly payment in order to get the full function of the phone. To top things off the incompetent manager had nothing to say except to return the phone and get something else all while admitting that she knew nothing about the new 5G services that they were selling people on. 12 years I have been with verizon and I have never been so infuriated by the terrible service and disrespect I received while at this store. After receiving a phone via fedex that I didn't order. I attempted to return it to the store this morning. No Can Do....without paying the $35 restocking fee. I discovered that fee ONLY applies for open boxes, that jerk didn't even look, no open boxes here! I called Verizon to also find out that they'd have to send me a returning shipping label, wait for them to receive this WRONG PHONE before allowing me to order the correct one! WTH (heck)?!?!?! SO, I went to the Verizon store located on Ford Rd in Canton, spoke with Zack and I'm REALLY glad I did. He hooked me up. Thanks Zack. read more

Rude Customer Service: Absolutely rude greeter woman today while my dad was paying a bill. My dad went over to pay his phone bill and I looked at the new iPhone, and this incredibly rude woman told me to stay over by my dad. I was interested in buying a new phone from this store but she was so rude I don't even think I'll go back. I was completely struck by this I've never had such a rude experience of customer service. I do look young, but I'm nineteen and on a separate phone bill. I should not have been treated like a sticky fingered 6 year old by this woman. Hopefully something will be done about this because I'm incredibly angry. I wish I would've talked to a manager, but I wasn't prepared to respond to a comment like that. She was a middle aged African American woman in a gray sweater and black dress pants at 6:30. Hopefully something will be done to prevent this happening again. read more

So I waited today to make a few adjustment to my plan and possibly upgrade my phone. I spent just over two hours at the store trying to get this done. I know you would think this is an exaggeration but unfortunately for me and my wasted time it wasn't. At the end of the day if your looking for a good or promising plan Verizon is not the place to be. I pay $120 to get 3G which everyone else these days its $50 for unlimited everything, Get with the program Verizon! My upgrade date is 11/29 and one would think my two hour wait and the fact that I was going to sign a new 2 year deal plus wait two weeks for a phone would of made it close enough but the manager within 1 minute made the decision he couldn't do anything for me. Well you lost a customer. I will let you know how the service at Sprint or T-Mobile or Virgin is when I switch and of them can waste my time and money like you did today. read more

The store was busy, and I was prepared to wait. However, I stood in the store for approximately 25 minutes, and while every other customer was approached and "signed in", apparently I was invisible. Then I noted that every other customer was either a man or couples. I also noted that when the salesman approached the groups he asked, "How can I help you, sir?" So I guess as a woman by myself, I WAS invisible to the male staff. Won't be back. read more

Bought a IPhone X max for my wife. The phone would drop every call after 2 seconds and the battery lasted 6 hours. Wife wanted to just switch back to the old phone and not deal with the IPhone X max. Returned the DEFECTIVE phone 3 days after it was purchased and had to pay a restocking fee of $50. So you sell me a garbage phone and I get punish with a $50 fee. So long Verizon. I'm giving it a 1 star because I'm required to give it something in order to post a review. I will never go to this store again. Went today to get 3 new iPhone 11/Pro phones. Taylor, the sales guy, offered me no discounts/etc., even tho I've been a Verizon customer for a while. Once I stated that Gary, a previous sales guy I spoke with offered me $200 per phone for trade in AND that I may go to Best Buy instead, Taylor ALL OF A SUDDEN said the $200 trade in for our phones JUST started today and he could give me that offer. Once we bought the phones, Taylor NEVER set our phones up - in fact he did NOTHING other than set up the new billing - Taylor told us we had to wait at least 30 mins before turning on the new phones and that WE had to set up our own phones then. Mind you, it was a little after 3pm and Taylor had already told us that they are closing at 4pm .... hmmmmm... he didn't want to be bothered so close to quitting time. We got our phones and decided to not buy ANY accessories from him and decided to go to Best Buy for all our accessories. At Best Buy, we explained what we had just experienced and he said this is quite common for Verizon Stores and that the sales ppl at Verizon work on commission and want to get as much money as they can. Well, Taylor didn't get any commission on the 'Verizon insurance' ($50.00 per phone/per month ) that I rejected or on any accessories... but Best Buy did ... $197.00 worth of accessories! Best Buy put the screen protectors and phone cases we bought on ALL 3 phones AND took the time to set up ALL 3 phones for us. Best Buy also told me that I can get AppleCare cheaper than 'Verizon Insurance' and that AppleCare is much better coverage. There was nothing positive, friendly, etc., about our dealings with this Verizon store and WILL NEVER go back again. Beware..... read more

Let me be another customer to sing the praises of Brandon at this store, because he is AWESOME! I went in there today to start service with Verizon and brought in a phone which I'd purchased secondhand. There were some problems with SIM card compatibility, which another store had been unable to help me with. Brandon spend well over an hour working on the issue, even calling corporate for further assistance, and was super professional and patient the whole time even though it was a complicated issue to resolve. Once that issue was fixed he then helped me transfer my phone number from my old service provider, and made sure everything was working properly before I left. Thanks to him, I can now use my new phone! read more
