Was lied to and misled. Switched to Verizon from another carrier. Was led to believe that I wouldn't have to pay the full amount from another carrier, and that I would receive a final bill in the mail and I'd be able to pay it off in installments. That wasn't the case. My previous carrier charged me the full amount. I even talked to a manager (or a "sales coach" as they call it. The stores don't really have a manager) and even he was taken aback. He even said he would've told me the same thing, so it's obvious the Verizon sales people aren't really that knowledgeable about cellphone policy and will tell you whatever they can to get your business. So don't make the same mistake I did. If you want to switch to a new carrier, make sure you talk to their cancellation department and not just a sales person who may not be the most knowledgeable (but they won't tell you that). I have had a problem with my voicemail for about two years now. I've been to two different locations and on the phone with a tech for an hour and a half, and no one could fix the problem. So aggravating but I just have lived with not having voicemail. Well today we went in to this Verizon location and the store manager, I'm sorry I forgot to get her name, assisted the tech specialist, again I didn't get her name either, (shame on me) and they fixed the problem. I did try yo call to get their names but couldn't get past the automated service. None the less, they fixed the problem in under 15 minutes. It may seem trial to many but it's such a relief to me! "We do not want you to feel that we are disinterested in our customer's satisfaction, as that is our first priority." It took you THREE months to respond. That's not a priority, sir, that's kind of the opposite of a priority. Nothing will change. I've been a customer for a decade and EVERY time I go into your store I am somehow the cause of the issues I'm experiencing. The "associates" that work the floor are on commission and don't care about helping someone with issues, only in making sales. Look, lots of businesses are setup that way, but none are more obvious about what their real priorities are than your store. The priority is making money, not taking care of your customers. And, as a result, you will lose this one when I'm done paying for the horrible phone I am stuck with that your "associate" talked me into and misrepresented. "Rest assured that this feedback will guide us to improve our service" No, no it won't because I've been giving feedback for years. I don't expect anything will change. I run my own business and I would never get away with treating my customers like y'all do. I would be out of business. When I make a mistake, I have to make it right with my customer, not just blow a bunch of generic, unfelt apologies at them. Company lines only work with sheep. I have experienced ongoing problems with this location since it's infancy. The reviewers are correct. They're "curt" , known for "blank stares" a bit of egos. Buying from them, questions to make an informed decision isn't in their wheelhouse. I've avoided doing business with them in the store as long as it was avoidable. Online sales, customer service is as bad or worse. In -store. I've had 2 inactive refurbished phones since Hurricane Micheal via online ordering they were put in billing while they shipped, both in non working condition. There was an option to return it to in store. No way. The Verizon coverage in Bay County cuts out, drops calls, gets garbled. It was rebuilt and touted as "the best coverage PLUS 5G. No. But, they'll argue and claim it's just fine. I know even our local law enforcement is conditioned to "settle" for this poor coverage. I've emailed the FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION (FCC) because unlike them, I know it's wrong and need my data and voice services to work. First I had to address local Internet carrier & FCC MADE Xfinity care. I happen to know that this market, that location is sadly very undertrained, both in sales, retention and customer service. It's cool selling cellular I understand. Unfortunately this market/ their small Regional HQ never received excellent above average intensive training. Management struggles also. "You don't know what you don't know" is what I've experienced. Under all its names until it became Verizon. You'll never receive that treatment in this market. They don't know better. I do encourage all to begin calling tech support, request "Tier 2" ( it will be miserable experience) and email FCC if your coverage isn't virtually perfect. I agree with another customer, the store tech guy happened to be on the door. I could have recited a nursery rhyme as his only concern was entering my info in his box. WoW! My second trip in as many days. I was informed that a trip an Apple store to have my warranty covered ipad pro 9.7 keyboard - was available, just not a Verizon store??? Didn't purchase from an Apple store!!! I am RETD MILITARY AND RETD LAW ENFORCEMENT (HARRIS COUNTY TX) DISABLED FROM BOTH SVCS. Last thing I need is poor svc from UNTRAINED employees. I imagine speaking to customers is too much to expect. Imagine as well pleasant attitudes are as well! (If pain doesn't keep me in, depresson, anxiety and ptsd does!!!) Therefore when I venture out from my place here on the water I wish to handle my affairs and get the hell back to where I don't have to put up with folk who appear to wish to be someplace else! CAUTION!!!!!! This Corporate store will RIP YOU OFF!!!! Needed phone replaced and called Verizon. Had insurance but it would take 1 or 2 days to get phone so they said we could go to store so we did. The sales person said my Husbands phone had an upgrade and that would be cheaper than the $200 deductible so my Daughter paid in cash the tax and new cover. Never was told there would be a charge for the new phone. They then billed us over $900 for the new phone on our account!!!!!! still paying on the phone that crashed. Many many calls to Verizon all saying they would help, NO help. THey suggested we go to the Verizon store so they could have a chance to fix the problem. WELL we did and were told quote "that is the way they earn a living" then asked for the manager and she would NOT take the phone back because it had been more than 14 days. Verizon Corporate still will NOT help after many calls ALL with NO return calls. Now that i am deducting the charge for the new phone they saying I am past due and at risk of cancellation. Worst experience ever! My iPhone is still under warranty, less than 3 months old and it stopped charging. I took it to a franchise store on the beach that was extremely helpful. They offered to replace the phone but would take a business day to receive. They suggested I try the cooperate store on 23rd Street as my job requires me to have a phone and I can not go a business day without my phone. Upon my arrival at the cooperate store I was greeted by someone at the door who seemed to careless what my problem was and was more focused on getting my information to enter into her pad. I gave her the info she required and some how an ex girlfriends name was attached to my business account (Verizon's mistake) and the Verizon employee pointed it out the phone was not in my business name and was in the name of my long time ex, this obviously pissed off my current gf who was with me. The Verizon employee kept fueling the fire stating the phone was in an exes name and kept aggravating the situation. We finally walk away, it took at least 15mins to get a tech to look at my phone. The tech kept blaming me for the phone being underwater! These people don't care to help you, they are there to blame you! The tech said he would warranty it, but it wild take 5-7 business days to get the phone at an extra fee... Are you KIDDING ME? The phone is broken bc it's a piece of junk! First he wants to blame me then charge me? How can the franchise store get it in a business day and the cooperate store it takes 5-7 days and a fee? I'll never go back to this store! read more

Although the store itself is nice and there are a variety of products to sample, I was very disappointed in how curt and dismissive some of the employees were. I do hope there are other associates that work there who are polite, however, one representative named Zane was highly discourteous when he met with me and I requested to "upgrade" my current phone. There was an assumption that I had wanted to keep my phone and simply purchase a new one, which puzzled me because why would I want to keep a phone that I am intending to upgrade? After explaining I wanted to "trade in" my phone (because apparently trading in and upgrading are two entirely different things), I was given 2 separate trade in values because I had purchased my phone through Best Buy. He said, "you should've told me that beforehand." And I guess my unhappiness in his lack of questions was making him "work hard." Sorry for your inconvenience. read more

I am not leaving this review to be negative or a bad customer. I have been a loyal customer for many many years. I was instructed by Verizon's Tech Support to take my Jet Pack into a corporate store for follow up regarding a battery issue. I walk in I was greeted and offered assistance. I had the device and battery in a box as instructed due to the battery swelling/exploding. 3 customer service members all intently listening (I thought) to my explanation as to why I was there. 1 sales staff looking up my account 2 other leaning up on a counter 1 of the 2 grabs the battery out of the box and says no way that battery didn't explode and threw it back in the box. I contacted Tech Support and was cautioned regarding the battery swelling and rupturing the Jet Pack that this could have caught my house on fire and that Verizon would replace the Jet Pack. Wow OK a minute ago I was a long time Verizon customer now I am just someone who wondered in off the street to try and get something for nothing. There is no excuse to be treated in this manner. If you do not like working with people please leave the customer service industry. After being promised by Tech Support to have the Jet Pack replaced the supervisor would only replace the battery and his parting words were "Here's a new battery in your old Jet Pack have a nice day" . I've been with Verizon wireless for about 4 years now. On my own plan I pay around $120!!! I guess since I make the money I never really thought about it and I've always had great coverage. All up until this year I'm regretting paying this amount of money for a phone, so I joined plans with my friend to save money as promised by a Verizon Wireless representative who said our bill would only be $165 a month and it would save us about $40-$50 a piece. We even asked multiple times if we owed any amount of money so we could pay it right then. Our first month's bill was $218!!! So we asked the reason they said it was an activation fee, plus a pro-rate fee, plus another fee they didn't explain. As promised by this employee they said our bill would be $168 next month. So we waited and our bill this month is $200!?!? We went back to the store and asked what the fee charges were and got absolutely no explanation of the random charges to our account. A $15.00 charge was added for which they didn't explain, a $3.98 charge for a protection from government taxes was added? A $12.98 charge for taxes and government fees? After repeating myself several times of what the charges were for I got no answer, just a round-about explanation to get around the question. Not to mention I got a bill for $23.00 in the mail from them saying it was another pro-rate fee? Verizon is the most disappointing, greedy, UNprofesional establishment I have ever came across and I'm glad to say that I will be buying out my contract no matter the cost and switching to a more reliable, professional, and trustworthy company who has representatives who do not lie and cheat me out of my money. If I were you stay away from this company they are only here to draw you in with great coverage and screw you the rest of the way with charges they don't even know what for! read more

On Wed. I made an appointment online for 10:30 a.m. Friday. I received an email confirmation saying they looked forward to seeing me. I showed up on time Fri., but when the greeter asked something like "what brings you in today?" and I told him, "My appointment" I got a blank stare. He said "Oh? Who is it with?" I said I had no clue, that I had made the appointment online. He looked at his iPad and said he didn't see an appointment for me and acted as though they didn't schedule appointments. That's when I read him my email confirmation. Okay, he found it, but he said it just let them know I would be there and I was number four in line. I waited for thirty minutes with no where to sit and walked out telling him on the way, "Remind me to never make an appointment here!"
