Terrible experience at shops at 5 Verizon store. We went in looking to switch from T-Mobile but only one of us needed a new phone as well. Was brow-beaten by Manager Sameer for wanting to keep an "inferior" phone when we could get new phones on promotion for very little more than one phone would cost. Of course I should have asked for paper documentation but they work off tablets and you never see anything written down. I wasn't informed I would owe $350 at the register until AFTER I signed the contract. I take ownership for that but we felt totally rolled by a pushy and manipulative sales process. My family traded in 5 phones from another carrier in December. About 40 days later we were billed ~$3300 from the previous carrier because they had not received the phones we turned into "R wireless" This store is a "authorized retailer" not actual Verizon. After numerous visits to the store dealing with Sumeer the manager and Jason, and countless hours on the phone with Verizon corporate and "R wireless" we still weren't getting anywhere. I also tried "R wireless" corporate. It has been over 3 months and this isn't fully resolved. Verizon corporate has said they are giving us credits on the phones that they still haven't received from "R wireless" I have started looking into the reviews of this store on yelp and google and it seems like there may be an issue with dishonest sales people and management. 14/18 reviews on yelp are one star! It's my belief after reading all the reviews that some of the employees are stealing the phones and also setting up unneeded devices for other customers and pocketing the gift cards for themselves. Read the reviews for yourself on all platforms. I would never walk in this store again. read more

this location will prey on the elderly. my mother, a spectrum customer, got confused and went into Verizon because she was having trouble with her phone. the sales rep sold her a new phone and plan with Verizon that is now costing her $50 more a month, all under the guise she got a "free" new phone. went in a week later to speak with a manger and was basically told she agreed to the contract and there was nothing that could be done, but to call corporate. stay away! read more

Cam and Matt were great customer service. I would be a teen mobile customer is it wasnt for Cam and Matt, colony place Verizon Plymouth ma. I was charged $498. and I had auto pay so the money came out of my acct. before it could be fixed. I went to them and they had to deal with verizons customer service. I brought a screen saver for my iPad last week and had them put it on, over the weekend it started to bubble. I called and was told that I would have to buy a new one. I had switched to Verizon for my wireless service. However there was an issue with my phone not being able to accept the eSIM card from Verizon. I was told by Verizon to go to the closest Verizon Store where I would receive the physical SIM card at no charge. I spoke to the sales associate and explained everything. The associate stated that there is a $10.00 fee for the SIM card. I explained again that the eSIM was already paid for and this was basically an exchange. He didn't care and refused to honor it. I know it's a measly 10 bucks but it's more about the principle. I won't do business at this location ever again. read more

I was told I could sell it back for $400 (they gave me $200). I was told my bill would only go up .39 cents a month and I'm paying 9 dollars more a month! read more

I had ordered a replacement phone for my husband on line from Verizon. We were having difficulty transferring the data over t the new phone. I called the Verizon store at the Shops at Five in Plymouth to see if they could help. Terric was the person who worked with us. His customer service skills were phenomenal. He was very patient with us. We felt like were were being listened to. He took an experience with the potential to be very frustrating to us - not being able to transfer the needed information - and made totally painless. So happy he was there to assist us. read more

I recently went to the Verizon store located at Shops at Five in Plymouth, Massachusetts. I had the most amazing experience. I think a lot of us show up feeling intimidated and not sure what to expect whenever we're purchasing a new phone and trading our old one in. This experience was incredible, so unbelievable I had to write about it. Sameer helped me and it was wonderful. He explained everything for me. He also let me know how to get my bill lower and what would be the best plan for me. He let me know about a few promotions that they had in which I took full advantage of. He was very attentive and stayed with me the entire time. Sameer showed me how to trade in my old phone, and get a new phone, pick out accessories, switch all of my data and apps over to my new phone and wipe my old phone clean before I traded it in. All of this happened in less than an hour. I was in and out and on my way out I had an amazing new iPhone and Apple Watch. He also let me know that they were selling charging docks at a discounted rate in which I needed for my home. Overall, this has been an incredible experience at Verizon. Shoutout to Sameer, without him this would not be possible. Everyone at this location was incredibly professional and kind. They made it feel not intimidating at all! I am so grateful. Worked with Adam Zaki on getting a S10+. Was "given" a device Hum that monitors your vehicle and whereabouts. I decided I didn't want it and went to return it and was told there was a $50 restocking fee for something I was given "free"! He did mention there was a $50 restocking fee if I returned the phone, but nothing was ever mentioned about the Hum device. Now I've checked my receipt and see I was charged $1000 for what he told me was $950. Then my $70 device credit was not deducted from my transaction! I had ordered the new iPhone 13 online had a couple issues one getting the new phone set up correctly and I was sent the wrong phone case when I came to this location I was greeted by summer saeed he was extremely nice and very professional he helped me get the new phone going and set my old one back for me while also swapping out a new phone case for the one that came in wrong all to make it easier on me so I didn't have to send it back through the mail this was the easiest and quickest experience I've had visiting a Verizon store normally it's a hour or two hour long or deal but not this time all thanks to summer saeed and the team members there I would recommend this location to anyone read more

I WOULD NEVER I REPEAT NEVER go to this retailer ever again. I went in looking for the new iPhone 12 pro max. I had 2 different associates tell me I would get $700 off the new phone with eligible trade in. I had two different people quote the price of the phone to me after looking at the account. They had to order the phone and when I went to pick up the phone they told me "oh no you only get $400 off the phone, the other promotion was for something else" and wouldn't honor the promotional price I was quoted. I went in for a case and got talked into a 900 dollar phone and that was fine but they added a hum and a jet pack internet device that was a 2 year contract that they said was part of the bundle for free!!! Obviously I got home and figured out it was 20 dollars times24 mo the and of course when I returned it they charged me 50 fee that thank god corporate office returned to my credit card!!!! Shops at 5 is independent!!! Not corporate!!!! Don't go there they have different return policies!!! Wow, If I could give -0 stars I would. I went in to upgrade 2 phones, and Cliff reworked our plan and said hey, you get a free jetpack and a free Apple Watch. Well, I wasn't there for either of those items, but they were part of a "bundle", and free! Well, once I got the bill, guess what? Not free! We called the store and his manager said we must have "misunderstood" Umm nope, it's not that hard to understand free. But wait, there's more. We went to another Verizon retailer to upgrade my phone and they told us we had a past due balance of $404 and had to pay before upgrading. It seems our friend Cliff opened a second account in our name using an old address and started charging us for a $110/mo plan and moved over 3 old devices that were supposed to have been removed off our account. We never received any bills, had no idea he did this, I certainly did not give permission for this. We owed Verizon over $500!! Thankfully the support at Verizon handled this for us, but this is FRAUD. We have reported this independent retailer, and my advice to you is choose another Verizon dealer, one that is affiliated with Verizon. These guys are crooks! read more

If I could choose zero stars I would. My mother recently went to this store to pay her phone bill, she is older and does nothing online. They talked her into upgrading her data plan to unlimited and sold her a mobile hotspot saying "your bill will stay the same". Not only did her bill increase $30 each month, they neglected to tell her the bill should have gone down by $30 a month. I mentioned that my mom was older and does nothing online. Why would she need the unlimited data plan? Why would she need a mobile hotspot? She doesn't even know how to use her smart phone, but you talk her into signing a contract that she doesn't understand? You told her the bill stay the same every month, but neglected to tell her it should go down. She trusted you to help her and you took advantage. Not sure how you guys sleep at night? For anyone reading this review, please think of going elsewhere and tell your older parents to stay away. We tried to work with the manager of the store, his response was "well she signed the contract, there is nothing we can do." After some discussing and arguing he changed his story saying he had to reach out to someone and would call us. We never heard from him. I think he just wanted to get rid of us. read more
