The manager dealt with a very inappropriate person who was cursing at and attacking her. He came back with flowers and an apology while she was helping me. I am very dissatisfied. There was a male employee (I would know if I saw him) that sold my twins new iPhones around the tax-free weekend time last year. He tells me that the insurance is great I should get it as a family that it's only $100 deductible I just bring the phone in they swap it out at the store. I can give them my old phone. He tells me my Moto Z4 was a dinosaur that if I wait a month after getting an insurance I could crack the screen and bring it in and they could just swap it out for a more updated version. Of course I didn't do that I held on to my phone until recently after owning it for years the screen was broken and it turned blue and I can no longer use it. I go into the Verizon store where that employee was working that day and another employee tells me I have to go through asurion to use the insurance. My phone broke on a Friday. I went in first thing Saturday morning. They tell me I cannot get an overnight on the weekend that I had to wait until Monday so I went from Friday night until Monday around 4:00 pm without a phone. The phone I received was the same dinosaur still a 4G and it works way worse than my previous phone worked glitching out shutting off when I push on things and not responding. When I called up asurion they said oh we have a one year warranty as long as it's not damaged but will again send you the same phone. Keep in mind this was the same dinosaur of a phone. Long story short it's not worth getting the insurance in fact I would recommend you going to Walmart buying $100 or $150 phone and not getting locked into one of their contracts. Just get the insurance from Walmart and in fact you can sign up at spectrum where it's cheaper to have a phone plan than Verizon they just get you looped in so you can never get out of there plan with these contracts just deception all around if you have insurance trust me it's not worth it. We went to this location after a salesman in Millbury sold us the wrong equipment for our business. Four months later and still no luck getting hold of someone to help us return/exchange the equipment. Apparently the salesman does not work anymore in the district so they need someone else to sign off the return/exchange. Meanwhile, we are paying for an equipment that we cannot use. We spoke with Joshua P at the Sturbridge office and he will try to find a resolution to this matter. We also sent him an email after we have not heard from him on the day he said he will send us an email. So let's see where this goes. So far we feel that there is no accountability whatsoever. read more

I have been a customer of Verizon Sturbridge forever. Never have played the change service providers game. We use them for our business account with multiple lines. Last Christmas, we went in to purchase a new phone for one of our lines. While completing this transaction, our "business sales representative" said hey, do you want to add a free phone. Why wouldn't we??? So we got the free phone and set up a new line. Were told we didn't need to do anything else till we were ready to use the phone. In March we were charged 800.00+ for our "free phone" When we went in, we were told it was a mistake because we had not activated the line and it would be taken care of. It wasn't. Next month same charge except now past due. Multiple trips in... finally got a credit. Fast forward to September bill. I questioned the price of my bill. Upon looking at all my numbers... I discover I am being charged a monthly payment for my "free phone". We return to Verizon in Sturbridge Ma and are assured that the issue is on their end and a credit will be issued. New bill has been issued... no credit, still being charged. Manager says "they are working as hard as they can for us... but we didn't activate the " free" phone within the first two months"...??? Please be aware of this Ridiculously Incompetent service at this location before you darken the door. Believe me, I give them one star only because zero stars are available. read more

I went to the Sturbridge Verizon wireless store on Thursday and had a very positive experience. Derrick greeted me (and my boss) at the front door and checked us in. There was a very short wait, 2 minutes or so, and then Derrick was back to help us. We weren't there to buy new phones but had questions about moving our numbers to the company corporate account and what that would entail. While he couldn't actually do that for us, he was most helpful in providing us the information and assistance we needed. We left there feeling well informed. He had a great personality and an easy, friendly way about him. I would recommend anyone visiting the Sturbridge Verizon store to seek out Derrick as he is very knowledgeable and helpful. read more

The amount of arrogance in this store by the employees blows my mind. I'm not in there, as an uneducated customer. I can use 90% of the devices better than 90% of the staff. If I'm in there, its probably because I have a problem. And the snide, rude, holier than thou attitudes make me ill. I'm with Pam. Been trying to get my phone rebate from Verizon since October 2014 when I bought my phone. If they just had customer service at the store I wouldn't have this problem. Verizon customer service not much better. Ppl can be nice but no one to help. Now they have my phone but it got sent to wrong Verizon address. I have the tracking number. They now can't find the phone to issue the $200 rebate. Ridiculous. First go to Millbury. Second never buy the newest phone. Been on the phone hours trying to get my rebate owed to me. read more

They used to have a kiosk to check in so they serve you in order. They do not have this anymore. They open at 10am, so I waited in my truck from 9:30, at that time there was 1 customer at the door. 2 other people pulled in, parked, and waited at the store door. Once they opened, i got out of the truck and walked in behind these 3 other customers.....then i find out they serve in order by who is at the door and walks in 1st ect., not when you get there.....ok......fair enough....after I'm told this, another customer comes in , sits down, then they call her next......... WTF? Am I invisible? Was not happy, my time is important too. I left for another Verizon store, will not be going back. read more

I went to the Sturbridge Verizon store for help switching my wife's phone to a smartphone I bought used. They worked for an hour, making sure they got all of my wife's photos transferred from her old flip phone. They also kept me apprised of what they were doing, and by the time I left, my wife's new phone was working like a charm. Kudos to the Verizon staff for going the extra mile! read more
