Nice and large store in the Destiny mall. Plenty of staff and many options to choose from. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had to upgrade two of my phones. I knew exactly what I wanted and they had both in stock. Transfer process of each phone did take a while but both were free upgrades so I didn't care. After more than 3 months of trying to get my landline phone number released by Verizon to Spectrum I missed 2 important calls from medical offices that tried to reach me at the number. I finally gave up, cancelled the Verizon account and am using a new Spectrum number with no problems. {Incidentally, the NYS Attorney General's "Consumer" branch was ZERO help.} read more

The gentleman that waited on us,my husband and I, was a top shelf salesman. More than helpful, understanding, and polite, very educated. He was very fair, and Verizon should be very proud to have him as an employee. We have NO COMPLAINTS. The store itself was also very nice, big, airy and clean, no clutter, and plenty of places to sit if you were waiting. This store is located in Density, Syracuse NY.. This salesman is a married man with children, one with a baby that has already had three heart surgeries, maybe this is why he is so decayed to do his best, knowing that you have to do your best to be the best. read more

8:54 P.M. EST Jan. 9, 2017 Verizon is chock full of some very incompetent people. Nothing but hassles since day one moving into this apt. Phone not hooked up! FTC is suing D-Link for security flaws in this router and cameras. Check out the FTC for further info. I have a D-Link Router "bundled " with my Verizon plan. Surprise surprise. Vz recently sent me a letter stating that the "FCC is claiming I have 2 life lines which is not allowed." I only have one for my landline. Rude people, zero customer satisfaction. The guy ran my credit check for the phone that I was going to buy. Just because I asked, if the phone was capable of being used on other carriers/ internationally, he assumed that I will port out and move away from Vz, did not give me phone and was rude. My boyfriend and I will not be coming back to this location ever again. I knew what I wanted for my phone upgrade and I did the research for the increase in payment per month for the line. The rude associate tried more than 5 times to get me to do the Edge monthly plan to pay for the phone instead of the 2-year contract pricing I wanted. I explained to him after the second time my very valid reason for not doing the Edge plan. He ignored my request to stop talking about it and continued by lying to me that my monthly payment by doing the contract instead would be double what I had been told before. While still in the store, I chatted with someone on the Verizon Wireless website, who looked at my account, the phone I was buying at a 2-year contract price, and confirmed what I had told him. He then tried to tell me that he never said it would be more and that he didn't know where I got that from. My boyfriend witnessed the entire exchange and also agreed with me about what the associate said. We immediately walked out of the store and never looked back. It would have been the easiest sale of the day for him if he had stopped demanding me to do something I didn't want to do, lied to me to try to get his way, and then accusing me when he got caught in the lie. Please, do yourself a favor and do not go to this location. Edit: Against my recommendation, a coworker went to this location. Said she had a very bad experience as well and won't be going back.
