After decades with Spectrum and extortionary costs, along with dismal in town (Appleton) speeds…read more(contrary to what they advertise), we finally switched to TDS. Our monthly cost have gone from $250/ month to $50 a month which is guaranteed for 2 years. We still get all the streaming services as before (using Roku stick for both services.) Best of all our internet speed has gone from 60-75 Mbs to 500 Mbs upload as tested with a speed tester. What's really unbelievable is that we waited so long to do this. And having to going in to the Spectrum store in Appleton (which is mandatory to discontinue the service) we did not complain and were friendly, being happy to be rid of this costly and terrible internet speed service. The agent on the other hand looked like he was a ticking time bomb ready to explode at any second. Even though it was a terrible visit experience, we were just as happy coming out of the store as going in, being relieved at having made this switch.

They "stick it" to loyal customers to offset deals for new subscribers and to counter losses from customers who have walked away in frustration and disgust. When we walked in to cancel our account, the only question asked was whether we had already gone with another provider. There was only total indifference and no concern to inquire about what brought us to this point. Pretty sorry customer care!!

No, we don't have those plans, you have to have the $80 for two phone plans. As far as the "free" phones, they are $10 plus tax. Ok whatever. Purchased two phones and the $80 for both. Called corporate number and they put me on the $60 plan that Nick said they don't have... Fast forward 5 days and troubleshooting each day with both phones Bluetooth, called to see about returning and getting a different since these are defective. First "boss" says on phone to Nick that it'll be $70 plus $20, then changed to $100 plus $20. For what was supposed to be a free phone. As soon as my month is up we'll be transferring back to Cricket. Stay away from this store if you can help it.
